They dealt with a insurance company to repair our transmission that was a pain to deal with but they worked thru it and did a great job

After my regular mechanic retired looked for a mechanic shop to continue servicing my vehicles, I ve always heard good things about Earl Brothers so I gave them a try. They have performed four different mechanical jobs on my two vehicles and I cant say enough about how pleased and confident I am with Dan and his crew at Renwyck Drive. They are reasonable in price....but what are the significant attributes about them that has convinced me not to go anywhere else for service, is there integrity, honesty and workmanship. Extremely pleased with the various works they have performed on my vehicles. If I deliver my vehicles early enough they have the job done the same day. They diagnose the problem and will always call and inform me of what the problem is and cost. I have never had to return to them about a job they performed. Three words about them that will keep me going back....INTEGRITY, HONEST and WORKMANSHIP!

Always Great service at EARL BROS. Norm and Kevin are awesome mechanics. Danny is fantastic at Customer service. Jim the owner is a fantastic person. They do excellent quality work and back there warranties if any issues. I have had several trips to this location for issues with my car. They accurately diagnose and are fair with their prices. They have been in business since 1933 and the quality and service they provide is why they remain in business. You will not be disappointed going here.

Everyone who works here is absolutely amazing! I had an issue with my car and drove it there first thing this morning. They took my car right away and fixed the issue within a day. I know absolutely nothing about cars and the staff explained everything to me. My cost was relatively cheap even though the part cost $300. I will definitely be taking my car there again.

Rich and his team were so thorough and honest when it came to evaluating the roaring sound coming from the front end of my car. I took my car to them for a second opinion, and they were able to accurately diagnose the actual problem and made me feel comfortable leaving my car with them. Would definitely recommend their services to others!

The absolute worst service ever! I wish I could give them zero stars. I spent 2 almost 3 months taking my car to the Secor & Renwyck Drive shops dealing with Jeff Booth, Dan, & Rich Earl. I also had to write a letter demanding they honor the warranty & pay $50 from another shop to get a 2nd opinion before receiving a call about fixing my car. They don’t return phone calls or get back to you when they say they will. Dan reimbursed me the $50 I had to pay for the diagnostic from another transmission shop but also went back on his word of extending my warranty because I refused to get my brakes done. After all I went through with them that’s the least they could’ve done anybody in their right mind wouldn’t want to keep dealing with a shop that lies over and over again so why would I get my brakes done by them? I tried to type everything I went through with these guys but sadly it won’t all fit so these are just the main points. If you have a 4x4 and your transmission is messed up I definitely would NOT recommend Earl bro’s!!!!!

I’ll never go back dan try to over price me he told me he price match and he didn’t i went to earl bro’s cause I thought it was the best shop and it really turn out to be the worst dan had me fill out a paper and the paper ask if I had my car looked at anywhere els so they can jack the price up on you dan charge me $300 just to look at my car and say it’s leaking I been going to dan since he been on airport and I can’t believe he tried to scam me like this so please look around be for you go here also when I told dan that affordable transmission was gone fix my car for $700 lesser then earl bro’s he got mad and told me to take it ova there and hung up on me bad Business

Had my 2004 Honda Odyssey serviced back in March at the Ren Hill locaion. D light was flashing. I was concerned that I had a major transmission issue. They diagnosed then called and explained everything that needed to be done ..... no high pressure tactics and honest to a fault. I had a ton of questions and they answered every one I had. (To be honest I was probably pretty annoying with all my questions ... but they answered every one with patience). It turned out to be a sensor. I am not a car guy so they could have taken me for a ride and I would have never known the difference but they didnt. It was one sensor and done. Its been over a month and the van is driving great. I will be taking my vehicles back there for a variety of services they offer. Highly Recommend !

These guys do great work. Norm was the only mechanic in town last year that could trace the electrical problem with the 4wd in my plow truck. This year they rebuilt the transmission in it for me, and found some other issues on it that they took care of for me. Dan at the counter kept me updated the whole time and honored the original quote he gave me, even though they did extra work for me to make my plow truck safe again. Thanks guys! You are my go to shop.

Was on my way to home in Tennessee for family medical reasons. My transmission went out. Got there at 9:30am . They went above and beyond to get me back on the road in the same day . Thats a complete flush and rebuild !!! I cant thank you guys enough. And a great price.

Where do I start, in the last three years the quality of service from this shop has really just dropped. Simple things such as putting the right radiator cap on or replacing old rusted bolts on a heat shield that rattles constantly. My last few visit have been down right awful. I ended up just fixing the issues myself rather than leaving it with them for 3 to 5 days for them to screw it up even more. There are much better places to go then here. Try Jacksons Auto on Angola or Anthony Wayne Auto.

Earl Brothers does great work! From oil changes to other auto repairs, they can be trusted to do the job effectively and efficiently.

I took my car to the BG location of Earl Brothers a few months ago. I went in with a noticeable noise which I was told was transmission related. One of the workers said he has heard that noise before and they for sure could fix it. So...I drop my car off and get a loaner car from them for the week. Later in the week...I get a call that the car is done. I show up and take a test drive and the noise was still there. After that....they still wanted to charge me $1,000 for NOT fixing the noise. Eventually after arguing, I had to talk to the owner...who asked that I give them a chance to make it right. He claimed a friend had a rebuilt transmission they could put in the car. So I reluctantly agreed and was without the car another few days. In their defense, they were very quick with the second repair. I paid them the remaining balance and took the car on its way. To this day, the noise still exists, but I am done with them. I paid about $2,000 and left with the same issue I had before. Whether they put a rebuilt transmission in or not will only be known by the people that did the work. I learned a valuable lesson to only have transmission work done if your car is dead and the transmission is blown. Never take it there for a noise that they say they can fix.

The absolute worst service I have ever received! After calling and speaking with Chuck, I am guaranteed my vehicle will be done by the days end. I dropped my vehicle off before 9am, that gives the shop over 8 hours for an OIL CHANGE! Chuck calls about 45mins after i dropped off my vehicle, and discusses a few other things about the car, we confirm to uust go ahead with the oil change. An hour before the days end I call and ask about the status of my vehicle, Chuck sounds frantic and puts me on hold... HE NEVER RETURNS TO THE CALL! He doesnt have the respect to give me a call back either, and no one answers when I call back. I come into the shop the next day expecting to pick my vehicle up before I goto work, and my vehicle STILL has not been seen, and Chuck tells me itll be about another hour and a half. This is absolutely ridiculous that an oil change takes 10 hours over the course of two days, when I was told prior to bringing in my vehicle that it would be done that day! I now speak with Rich about how displeased I am and how because of their lack of communication and false information, my entire days schedule is all jacked up and I now am going to have to find another way to work last minute. Rich has no sympathy or understanding for THEIR inconvenience, however tells me that hes going to back his guy no matter what the customer says, and there is nothing hes going to do about it. Also stated, that since I felt so strongly about the lack of service that I can just come pick my vehicle up without the service being completed. I am appauld at how unapologetic the manager Rich was, and how poor my first experience with this company was. I do not recommend anyone ever encountering these individuals.

(Renwyck location) This place is a joke. I took my Chrysler Aspen here n they replaced my motor with my warranty n the absolute worst customer service. So over a year later my motor is leaking coolant in my oil (gasket) ... now the warranty has since expired .... but guess what!!... the company that supplied the motor (Dahmer Powertrain) to Earl Bro. has a 100,000 3 year warranty n will cover the repair.... so these guys take my truck back look at it... contacts Dahmer ... oh it gets better ... 2 days they call me n tell me to come pick my truck up they DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH IT its my vehicle n my problem... Every service tech I called in town said Why is Earl Bro Not taking care of the problem???? I ask myself that same question..oh and Roy Johnsons one star review down there... I also delt with Chuck and Rich .. and Rich is the same manager told me to come pick up my vehicle because he did not want to deal with it... That should let all of you know.... Stay away from this place ... Its a joke !!!!

The manager will yell in your face, as he is lying to you about what is wrong with your car. He would be missing teeth, except he still had possession of my car while he was berating me. If I see him again he will not be happy.

Some staff friendly, advisement states they fix, transmissions and COMPLETE car repair, then why did they tell me to take it to a dealership to get electrical fixed, and when asked if they recommend one they did have a anwser.

Great place to get your car repaired

Had new air conditioning compressor, dryer, evaporator core, and hoses installed and freon... cost me total of $1300.00 but well worth it, blows ice cold, Gregg is super nice, good mechanics...

Horrible service. Took my truck in to get the transmission fixed. Took 3 days longer than it shouldve, then, someone broke into my tool chest and stole all my tools in the bed while it was in their locked and secured compound. This place is a joke
