Al and everyone here are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the engine I bought wouldnt work in my truck but Al was true to his word and didnt hesitate to refund my money. I would call Al again for used parts. The yard is very organized too, a very well run business.

I needed an engine for my work van. Al gave me great service. The price was fair for a great low mileage engine. The best part was; when the shipping company had an issue, al stepped in and took care of it. I am so grateful there are companies like this still around. Highly recommend and will use again.

Very rude and argumentative, when I asked if they had a part for a specific vehicle they had listed online she said yeah but it’s three day wait for it to be taken off the car and then when I asked her to confirm the part number that was on listed Car-Part.com she told me it’s the only one that they have on the shelf for that year vehicle, instead of confirming part number. Then I asked is it on the shelf. Very rude terrible customer service. I asked to speak to the boss and she said she was the manager. She hung up on me.

Called westwood and spoke with AL, got a great deal on the engine I needed with shipping and it was practically here the next day. SUPER FAST SHIPPING. Runs perfectly. No issues what so ever. Highly recommend this place for used/salvage auto parts. Will do business with again, and refer friends. I have little doubt that if i had any issues whatsoever, Al would have taken care of me. The place is really busy when I call, and got put on hold a lot, but I was always taken care of and treated like the only one when I finally talked to Al. Email questions were answered quickly. My only problem is I dont live closer.

The lady behind the counter, Julie, is so rude and unprofessional. The way she speaks to people in such a dismissive and condescending tone all the time makes me believe that she must really hate her life! It also makes me believe that if she were a bit nicer overall, this business would have happier people working for them and better reviews. Might be a dirty job but it doesnt give you an excuse to have an ugly attitude.

Ordered a 94 Honda Accord 4 speed auto trans off ebay, coming out of the Ohio location While the price & shipping time were both reasonable, I was annoyed to find the connector clip for the lower servo pair pulled off. Not such a big deal, except the end of the harness missing the clip was conveniently out of frame in both pics taken from an angle showing the servos. Yes, it was on me to catch that detail, but still, it gives me cause to wonder what else might be amiss with the unit. Odd how the shot is centered juuuust far enough to the left that the missing clip issue doesnt show. the other shot which shouldve depicted the damage is similarly framed. Trans is probably just as stated in the description & in good working order, Felt a little disingenuous to me, though. Better disclosure wouldve netted you more stars & a kinder review. Food for thought...

I searched in the US and find this company, they were able to help me out with everything and had a used transmission for me. They were all very helpful. They have an unbelievable inventory that is exceptionally well-managed and organized. I can always find exactly what I need through Westwood. If they dont have a particular item in stock (rarely the case), they will locate the part(s) quickly. Great pricing and exceptional service is why they are the only auto parts source I ever consider.

What was important to me was the fact that Julie responded so quickly to my negative response. It is very important when people listen to one another and are willing to make things right. That meant a lot to me and before I give a negative review that can possibly affect a business oh, I would like to make sure that my assessment is correct.

The worst customer service ever the lady behind the counter is a very angree person. We towed a car in we were miss informed that the car was being sold and not repaired like my customer told us after being talked to like a piece of trash for not knowing what was going on if they worked on cars she was so mad that she couldnt even look at me. Called up looking for a wheel for my Moms 2001 PT Cruiser. They did not have one in stock, but said they could order one for me from their Lansing facility. The service was great, and the price was very fair...even better that what I could find on eBay. Would highly recommend.

They are consistently the most expensive place in the city and are Unapologetic about it. When you visit the place there is an unmistakable vibe that they are doing you a huge favor just allowing you to be there. That being said if you have to have a part regardless of its expense sometimes you have to get it from them.

I live in Gahanna, Ohio and have been trying to find a replacement door mirror for my 2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible. No place in Columbus had the mirror and after 2 failed attempts (ordered mirror but they sent wrong one) with other companys online, I was about to give up. Then I found Westwood Auto & Truck Parts online. The online search showed they had my mirror. I called and talked to Ed who was very helpful and friendly. He assured me that the mirror they had was for a convertible and it would be the right one. I just ordered it yesterday afternoon (July 10, 2013) and to my surprise, I just received it today (July 11). Wow was that great service!!!! I went out to my car right away and to my excitement and relief, it is the correct one, just like Ed said it would be. Even though Im in Columbus, Ohio area, I will definitely recommend Westwood Auto Parts to anyone needing anything. Ed is professional friendly and knows his stuff. Thanks Ed for making my day.

The only thing I can really say about this place is just how negative of an experience I had with the same woman working behind the counter. Ive been here 3 times, and all 3 times she was so incredibly rude. Very short with me, then when she mis-spoke, raised her voice at me like I had done something wrong. So buyer beware; you may leave with the part you wanted, but theres a good chance youll be in a worse mood than when you walked in.

Paid for a header panel over 24 hrs ago. Get told today we dont know when it will get pulled. Tell em i need it today or i gotta go elsewhere.. They couldnt care less.. Its only 8 accessible bolts. Takes all of 15 min to pull. The word is LAZY. Big joke at westwood of toledo.

My husband was just in the phone with them. Trying to track an employee that sold him a car. They said this is a junkyard and hung up the phone. Sorry for wasting your time. Will never use them for anything again.

They sold me a defective part but they gave me a refund and threw the bad part into the shredder. Other then that they are helpful, polite and courteous.

The battery I purchased from their shelf wasnt tested by them but was sat on their shelf for a customer to purchase. I had it tested because it didnt start the car I put it in .Returned it for an exchange and they didnt have another one to exchange it for .I ask if they tested it before putting it out for sell, his response was we have no way of testing it. Ask for a refund and was told by Westwood I could have a store credit theres a no refund policy. So I lost my $45.00 and still had to go by another battery some place else .Bad experience be careful if the parts no good and they dont have an exchange you lose your money or rather your given a store credit slip that youll probably lose before using it .

I was looking everywhere locally in Akron, Ohio and could not find a multiple power window switch (console mounted) for my 2001 Cavilier. I looked on a website for compatible parts and was about to order from Westwood Auto Parts. Thank God I asked the associate if it really was compatible with my car, thats when Ed Reinstein got on the phone!!!!He told me no, that wasnt compatible but he said he could locate my part! It ended up coming from Kentucky. If it wasnt for Ed, I would still be getting drenched ! (my drivers side window wouldnt go up, it was raining for days here).Ed was also very personable and knowledgeable, usually when a girl calls an auto parts store and is confused we are not treated in a nice voice and the other person has a very short and gruff attitude. Ed was Wonderful, made my day!!!!

Gave me a good engine

Bought a used battery and it wasnt any good. So I took it back for an exchange but they didnt have another one .I ask if they had tested it before setting it on their shelf to be sold .They said no we have no way of testing it.I ask for a refund and was told Westwood doesnt give refunds but I could get a $45.00 store credit. Well recently I missed place that $ 45.00 store credit so I threw away $45.00 on a used battery that Westwood sat there on their shelf for sale without knowing wether it was good or bad .Horrible experience if you get a bad part theres no refund or return only a store credit .I ask for exchange but they didnt have another battery.
