Bought some fresh meats for a get together this weekend. Large variety of meats and sides. I had excellent service

They were out of everything i went in for. Disappointed because i then had to drive all the way to a big grocery store to get what i needed for dinner. I like house of meats because its close to my house. And convenient. Its more pricey than the grocery stores on their produce. But Im willing to pay the extra for the convenience when its instock and fresh.

This is a full service butcher shop with good to high qualities of meats. They have other things that are hit or miss depending on your taste. This store has very little produce, but they have a few things. The freshness of the produce ranges, but is usually a good quality. They also carry some store processed products such as flavored burgers, chicken fingers, kabobs, and sausages. They have some deli meats and cheeses that can be cut to order. There are some other products that may or may not be made in store such as baked beans, potato salads, slaw, pasta salad, and what not. One of my favorite (granny potato salad) was not made in store, and they dont have it anymore. When I asked about it, thats when I learned that.The inside is dim, and tile flooring. The inside is a big loop, take a number at the door, and wait for it to be called. Coolers and freezers in the middle with seafood, burgers, dips and condiments. It is usually clean, but I have seen it messy on busy days. We shop here often. For the most part you will have to go to another grocery store for complete meals, but they have good meats.

Have a wide selection of top quality beef, chicken, pork chops, and sausage. Excellent lunch meat and cheese choices as well. We love the bones and pig ears for our dog. Freezer cases have something to find for everyone (shrimp, fish, fries, etc.) If you need to pick up the bread and milk, theres even a mini mart.

I love a thick medium rare beef steak !I went to this store early this morning looking for a few great cuts. Wow! The displays were looking terrific! Everything was clean, well displayed and the prices were better than expected. I bought more than I originally intended, partly because the friendly helpfull staff had good answers to my questions concerning how to cook it best. Love this shop and recommend to steak lovers !

I love coming here but I have noticed if you get meat its best to cook like that day or the next and if you freeze meat make sure you cook it as soon as its thawed out.

Love their meats and prices!! I wish I lived closer. But worth the drive!

Do not go to house of meats on star on the east side, had a new girl at register, she took the cared swiped it and said its not working, swiped it three times, manger said we cant help you, told her just used it at walmart, went outside called card had 110 on it still, went back in she called some for corn fed mf, he came out throught he was going to get in my husbands face, well that went over like a fart in church, left went to hom in point place right after we left, and low and behold it worked, do not shop hom on star ave on the east side they SUCK.

This is from a family member. Came into store today and ordered chicken, hamburger ect..... Asked if they could separate into specific portions. The meat clerk responded that they have to put everything packaged together. Which seems ridiculous. Seriously who gets hamburger and chicken in big quantities and not want some of broken down into specific portions for meals for the family. Customer service not a high quality on today priority. Been going to this house of meats for a long time, maybe it is time to switch things up.

I love this place. Close to home. I only have to buy the size and amount of meat I want. Not large expensive packages like at a grocery store.

Ordered on line today & requested in store pick up. Order was ready on time. But of course when we got there, we wanted to add to the order....normally the service counter workers are AMAZING...today, our clerk was short & snarky. But that wont stop us from returning, the quality of the product far surpasses someones bad day

Very friendly and efficient staff. Never a wait a the meat counter because they are well staffed.

Its usually priced fairly decent, when I went I got sticker shocked!! I only had $30 I usually get a lot but everything is so expensive so I only got 6 whole chicken breasts and made little dinners with that.

The old fashioned butcher in the 21st century! The meat quality is unbeaten anywhere.

Best customer service in the area. willing to make sure the meat is cut exactly how you need it. They will also answer any questions you may have and educate you on the cut of meat you need. Worth the longer drive for me to get my meat here!

Love them! I went in there looking for shish kabob but unfortunately they had stopped selling it as a seasonal item. It was actually one of the only things I came in there for that day and without me even asking they offered to make me exactly what I needed so that my trip would not be wasted. I love Lee Williams and their staff even though Ive moved all the way across town whenever Im in the area I tried to stop in and get whatever I need from them rather than any other store.

I normally purchase my carne asada from Fresh Thyme in Toldeo which is outstanding. Today I wanted to make street tacos but dreaded the long drive. I also shop at Lee Willimans so I decided to call to see if they had any premade. They did not but did OFFER to make it fresh for me! Within an hour and a half from the time I made the phone call it was ready! Awesome Service!

This is a great place with a manly name. They let you sample before you buy. All types of meats, spreads. Coldcits or meays to take home and cook. No military discount so no patriotic american stars awarded.
