Use to be good. Work has been very sloppy. Tells me a patch will be ready by Wednesday I say ok thats fine cuz I need to have it sewn on by Saturday go to pick it up Wednesday after a full week and he says itll be ready on Friday leaving me no time to have it sewn on.

Excellent Product, Great Customer Service, Quality work

I value supporting local businesses, so its difficult for me to write a critical review. However, several issues occurred that lacked professionalism. I contacted Holmes Embroidery for a quote, and since they gave a good price I decided to work with them. I was instructed to send an email with the details, which I did, but then I didnt hear back for weeks. I followed up after a few weeks of no contact, and then had to wait again to receive the proofs. Unfortunately, the proofs were not as requested, but the changes were minor and Id been waiting a while already so I approved them. I dropped off the items, and he said theyd be ready in two weeks to pick up. I called again on the date he had given me, but he said they werent ready, so I needed to wait until the end of the week. At the end of the week I went to collect the items, but found that one sweater was not completed. He had run into an issue, and was waiting for supplies to arrive to correct it. I agreed to come back later for the fixed sweater, and when I went to pick it up today he showed me that he hadnt been able to fix the sweater, and had instead ordered something entirely different, and embroidered that. He didnt call and ask what I would have preferred he do, he just made a decision without consulting his client. This multi-week endeavour has caused undue stress and embarrassment when I had to present the final products to my coworkers. The embroidery locations were not consistent, and varied widely with each item. The final sweater was completely unlike the others, so now this team member does not match when we have to wear them for events. This sweater wont be usable in a professional setting like we had hoped, so now I have to go to the trouble of ordering a new sweater to replace it, and finding a new embroidery shop. Overall, I feel this transaction was lacking in professionalism, and the final product was of inferior quality.
