While the pre-sale process was good and the installation went smooth, thats where the good parts end. We have had our fence installed for 2 years (yes, its outside the 1 year warranty), and we have fence posts that are bowing and look like a (. The person I dealt with came out and said, your poles are leaning due to the ground moving. He offered to write up a quote with a value that would start at $400 for them to come out and straighten the posts. I had to go out and take pictures with my level to show how bad the poles are bowing, not just leaning. Due to these bows, the fencing is messed up and the company is now not responding to my messages. VERY POOR support and now need to spend a lot of money to fix the horrible quality product that was first installed.

Did business before, liked what I received, but now everything is through email, and they do not get back with you. I tried talking To them the day I drove over there, only to be told everything Has to be done through email. That’s fine if they answer their emails or they give you a call to discuss. But they acted like they wanted nothing to do with you.

They never call back. Hold on I think they are calling now.... NOPE!

I contacted them a couple times, for repair and wire estimate on our existing split rail fence. They never responded or got back to me. I wouldnt recommend them.

Called to find out how much fence material and the gentleman treated me like I was making a prank call.

Called twice. Was finally promised a salesperson would call within two to three weeks. Nothing. Called again, was told by a digusted woman, apparently I would have to be put on hold which she did as there were three calls ahead of me. I hung up. Outrageous!!! I have a $9000 job and called another prominent fence company who was happy to take my money. Fence ordered, installation in two weeks. Again, outrageous . Gave one star because I had to, to post😡

Easy place to unload they took my fencing off just to the left of the gate. Very nice people.

It is a little tight getting in and out but if you don’t have anyone in front of you, you get unloaded pretty fast.

Gave them my deposit on 8/23/2019 told the fence would be installed within 3 to 4 weeks. After a half dozen phone calls, (which by the way the guy that was supposed to return my calls never did,) and a lot of complaints they finally showed up unannounced to install it on 10/07/2019, (I was supposed to get a call 2 days in advance that they were coming, you guessed it, no call.) So 7 weeks later I received my fence. The lead guy complained all the time he was here about his job, they cut through a phone line and said it wasnt his fault although I told him a line was out there and they left me with a ton of dirt that I have to deal with from the fence posts. Although the fence looks good I would NOT recommend these guys.

Communication was not a problem at all. I needed a 4 chain link replaced with a 6. They came out and offered a viable and economical solution so that the old posts would not have to be dug out. I asked them if they could put a rush on the job. They came out and had the job completed within 3 days. Fantastic workers and workmanship! Looks great.

Very helpful to an amateur fence repair guy such as myself. Parts are much cheaper than big box stores. Never going anywhere else.

After making calls to other fencing companies who were charging a ridiculous amount for the fence I needed I was told to call Merleau Hercules by friends and family. Their quote was much less then the others and their quality better! The installers were very friendly, fast, and their work was fantastic. A great company to do business with.

Nothing beats Marleau Hercules Fence Co when it comes to their services around northwest Ohio. By far live up to the expectations 100%. Very established long standing business. I’ve had fencing installed on two houses and we could not be happier!

I started of by calling Marleau to request a estimate. The lady that answers the phone is not professional at all. She said it would be a week before someone could come out and that they would call to arrange a day. Two days later while I was away from my home, Jim came out and did measurements and then emailed me weeks later with a estimate. Not once did they contact me to see exactly where I wanted the fence placed or what type of fencing. From this point on the communication was horrible . I would call the office and ask to speak with Jim but the same clueless lady would answer the phone and always have no information for me but will give Jim a Message. I was tired of waiting for a call back, which most of the time it didnt happen, so I started to email Jim. Wasted so much time with trying to get information and I was runnng out of time with winter approaching. I signed the contract and paid through EMAIL as that seemed the fastest way to get something done. Then I was told 6 weeks for fencing to come in and that someone would call me right after utility company came out to mark the lines. Thirteen days after they marked the lines I still have not received a call and I needed to mow the grass, meaning I would have to take all the marking flags out of the yard. Called the office again and got the same lady answering the phone and again she couldnt give me any information. Two days later the fence installers show up, good thing I was home. They asked if I had the sprinkler lines marked. I didnt know they had to be marked as I wasnt told to do so. The installer said it shouldnt be a problem or I would have had them marked. They worked in rain the next two days and made a muddy mess along the fence line. Lucky me they also cut one of my sprinkler lines and left a caution tape in the area where it was cut. I never received a call on it being cut and I was confused of why there was yellow caution tape on one of the fence post. I had to email to ask what it meant. Not once did Jim tell me to have the lines marked, all he said to mark was the property line. When I told Jim that he didnt say anything about the lines being marked, he said it was my responsibility and charged my credit card and never heard from him again. He never asked if I was satisfied, so here I will say I am not satisfied. The fencing is way over priced with cheap flimsy metal. The fence is not sturdy, it moves when you push on it. I will not recommend this company to anyone who needs a fence.

Didnt notify neighbors that they were removing their fence and dogs got out, did not match new fence with existing fence, horrible communication

I went with Marleau Hercules because they have been around for awhile and family owned. It took a few weeks for them to come out. Steve is not good about returning calls. They showed up at noon, did not know they were coming, asked to see a section of my fence and the spacing was wrong, spaces way too wide. I told them I wanted exact fence as my old one with 1 inch space, they took it back. I drove to their site twice to speak to Steve in person. Finally got everything straightened out. The fence installers, Scott and his partner were great. Fence looks great, im pleased. Communication is poor, but fence staller Scott and partner were great to work with.
