Horrible customer service. Paid $25 online for reservation of furniture after being approved. Spoke with someone who said they cant help me get furniture until monday or tuesday. Agreed. Monday comes, no calls or replies to set up drop off time. I call and the person is on lunch and they say will call back in 30mins . Rest of the day goes by and he never calls. Tuesday comes and i call. They tell me the person dealing with my application is off work that day. Lol what?? I call back Wednesday to ask for a refund of my reservation fee after explaining the story, they still dont try to assist or apologize for the horrible service. They just refund me my money and leave it at that. Lol how are people supposed to get their furniture when the workers dont want to reply or follow up how they should ? If i could rate 0 stars i would. Sucks because i was excited to get my furniture in my new apartment. Ill just take my money elsewhere and recommend the same for anyone else.

Shannon is the absolutely rudest person I have ever spoken with. I have no idea how he is the store manager. I went in today to look at what type of furniture he had for my cousins house because we have no couches since he just moved here for a new job. I am here to help him set up everything. When I went into the store I told Jose my situation he said I can have him fill out an online order form and he will call and confirm the information. I said okay well will he remember which couch I wanted to order for the house he said yes he would write it down and I can just put his name on a sheet so he will know who to look for I said awesome, just put his basic information on the sheet like I was told and then I left and called Mike and let him know to go online to fill out the order form and to let me know when he is done so I can follow up with Jose. We wanted the order form in today so we could have the couches by tonight. We have 3 kids in the house and because of the move to just outright spend thousands of dollars isn’t plausible right now. Well I called in when the order form was completed by mike and was toldJose was on lunch he would call me back in about ten minutes. A few hours later I call to follow up again because mike told me after work he didn’t receive any calls. Well not sure what happened but Shannon got on the phone on a power trip. Telling me he’s the store manager and isn’t allowing us to order from there. I asked him why he said we aren’t allowing you to make an order for someone else. I let him know the situation the same one I told Jose and he let me know he’s the store manager and he isn’t letting us do it. I again asked him, I followed what your store employee said and basically all I was there for was to pick out furniture to match the house and then told mike to fill out the order form online: he said in a rude voice I’m aware what you are trying to do and this is my store and y’all can’t do that and he’s the boss and it’s his store and I can find another rent a center in the area. When I asked him what his name was so I can report his rudeness he said Shannon is all you need to know. And then he hung up on me. He had to be one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Didn’t even listen to the situation. Shannon is one of the most disrespectful humans in the customer service industry!!!
The staff was not very smart. Paid to hold my item and they didnt. The staff was cursing loud and I felt uncomfortable. Not good customer service in my eyes.
This store is very unprofessional. They give attitudes and they yell at you. I am in customer service and if i would have treated someone the way they do i would be fired.
Absolutely the worst experience ever... wasted time driving to this location... dude could’ve said over the phone they don’t deliver in the home when i called but he waited til i got there to say he had limited stock as well as they drop everything off at your door
I despise rent a center. There were a couple of times that I could not make a payment and dates that I was getting paid the next day or. They threatened me with the police and accusing me of fraud. I will not EVER GO THERE AGAIN.
This place only cares about getting your money and will make sure they use any dirty or under handed scheme to get as much as they can. I told them I wanted a MONTHLY payment plan, no extra warranty or anything like that. Signed me up for a bimonthly plan (every 2 weeks) and the freaking warranty that I DIDN’T want!! Then the day your payment is due, they call every HOUR and pester you about making your payment!! Also the guy waited until after all the paperwork was processed to tell me that the washing machine was second hand, not new which you’re paying a NEW price!! Another thing, if your payment is even a day late, they will threaten to come get it! A lot of con artists and shady businessmen!! Go somewhere else!!! Don’t waste your time and money here like we did!!!
Everyone is always so cheerfull and understanding. Definitely my favorite place to go when i need something. Fair on prices an paying. Id refer them to anyone.

The husband had major surgery and we needed a temporary bed right away. Instead of doing the whole insurance song and dance, I decided…”hey lets just RENT a twin bed” since we only need it for a month. I literally called Renee at RAC while I was en route to pick him up from the hospital and she took alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll of my info over the phone and got me all setup. It was like 20 mins before their closing time and Renee was as graceful as ever. By 11 a.m. the next morning, the bed was in my house and setup. I was so busy with getting things arranged for his return home, until I forgot to ask Renee if the bed sat up high. I was worried about that. The bed is perfect…exactly what we needed and envisioned. Good pricing for short term rentals and the customer service was phenomenal. I am in customer service as well, and customer focus will take any business a long way. Kudos to Renee and whenever I am in a pinch for something, I will definitely reach out to her at RAC again. TOP NOTCH!!!! Thanks for everything!

They hound you like crazy. The prices are outrageous. The guys are very immature and unprofessional always carrying on like a bunch of teenage kids. I will never recommend them to anyone I know. Not getting anything else from them again.

I bought a bunk bed that had to be pieced together from several different ones. (I put together my self) They didnt have all the screws so I had to go buy some from Lowes. The bottom mattress had holes in it with the springs popping out. Mind you they did give me a 200 dollar discount and they SAID they would order a new mattress for the bottom bunk. At this same time I bought a HE washer and dryer from Aarons. So I was able to compare the two service wise. Rent-a-Center are glorified collection agents. If you are late they hound you until you make the payment. If they do not hear from you they show up to your house. When you are on the phone with them explaining the situation they ask you what happened in your life that you cant make the payment. They have no leniency for people who work full time out of their hours. Now Aarons they call you if you are late and find out when you can come in. After a certain amount of days they charge you a late fee. Thats it. End of it. No attitude no rude sales people no interrogation an no one showing up at your home while you are in the middle of dinner. I will NEVER EVER EVER shop or use rent a center again. EVER. Oh and I still have not got the mattress they told me they would order.
Do not give this people your card information.Pay over the internet because your card will continuously get hacked around your pay day mysteriously.
