I really like the professionals at Midas. They were very knowledgeable about the work I had to get done on my truck. It was done in a timely matter. What they charged was competitive with others. Went to get an oil change got there at 835 no cars were in the bay told me it would be an hour to get my oil change then an 30 mins to do the oil change spoke to some guy he was so unprofessional Id never go here it may be cheap with the Groupon but the service and wait are so bad Id rather pay the 65 bucks at take 5. This company really missed out Im a roofing contractor with 6 company vehicles and 2 personal. Do the math thats what you lost.

My temperature gauge was flipping out and I didnt feel safe in Texas heat! Troy and the team took a look immediately and got me back on the road later that day. Very professional, courteous, and friendly. They are my guys next time my car needs ANYTHING! Can not recommend them enough!

About 2 months ago, I came into Midas in Tomball to check an engine knock. Troy (the manager) told me exactly what it was and I told them I would fix it myself. The guys at Midas are great! I had some electrical issues with my RAM that ended up being very minor. They fixed it with no charge and suggested some routine maintenance. Truck was ready in a couple hours after drop off. I will be going back for future service.

Cross threaded my oil plug after recommending I replace an air filter that I had personally bought and put in about two days before the oil change. Liars and incompetent....take your business elsewhere folks.

I got a groupon for this place for an oil change and the service was excellent! The staff is really nice and courteous They had me in and out in about 45 min, and this was with them being short staffed. They didnt even try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary stuff, as we women tend to get. I will be back. Made my appointment for the recommended service as I agree its probably needed. I appreciate excellent customer service and the care with which they conduct business.

This place is highly recommend.I was having serious issues with my engine and it resulted to my car shutting off. I then hired a mobile mechanic to fix the issue and they completely messed my car up. I was out of a car for almost two months after having issues with the engine.The car wasn’t able to turn on. A friend of mine recommended this place and they fixed my car and it runs new. They fixed every issue that the past mechanic made in a timely manner and kept be updated with the steps.Troy and his team are extremely knowledgeable and I thank y’all for fixing my car.

I have a 2011 Honda Accord it needed a cat replacement I called multiple places trying to find the most trustworthy and best deal I could get. The manager Troy was very patient and thorough and was able to get the job done quickly even though it was last minute. I’m very pleased with my experience I recommend this location.

I went in for an oil change. With the oil change, I was suppose to get a brake check and tire rotation. Sadly, I didnt t get any of the extra. I got only the oil change. They never asked where my bolt key way was.

I initially came here to have my valve cover gasket for my turbo engine replaced decided to have them check for an oil leak problem. Within 10 minutes they were able to pin point my leak and noticed a bad front left axle. I was very impressed that they were able to complete the full job that required dealer parts before closing. Their price is slightly more compared to some of the mom and pop shops but I think its worth it considering their honesty and ability to complete the job in a timely manner.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I went to get an oil change and tire rotation this past weekend. We took my car to get dinner and on our way home, the tire started making a really bad noise. Unfortunately, they were closed by the time this started happening so I couldnt go back. I didnt drive my car for two days because the sound made me so nervous. I did take my stepson to the bus stop down the street this morning and when I got home, I found a lug nut from my front driver side tire laying in the driveway!! I took my car to the shop around the corner and they found another lug nut in the same tire hanging halfway out. I took a video of the mechanic wiggling the tire to show how loose it was. The tire could have fallen off at any moment. The mechanic fixed that tire and then had to tighten every lug nut on EVERY SINGLE TIRE! None of them were properly tightened. They also didnt air my tires up properly. My tires are supposed to be at 34 PSI...they were at 43, 29, 31, and 39. The oil life gauge on my dashboard also still says 47%...Im not even sure they actually changed my oil at this point. I was there for 2.5 hours and there was only one person ahead of me, but they still didnt get anything right.I would NOT recommend this location. I dont know if every Midas operates the same way, but I will not be going to any Midas based on this experience. This literally could have cost me and my stepson our lives if the tire had fallen off and we got into a bad accident.

They diagnose quickly and give no pressure options, only what they recommend should be needed to keep your car maintained well. Was my 1st time there using a Groupon. Everything showed great when they finished until notice a oil stain on driverside seat. I mentioned it to Manger an he agreed to get fix. When I called the following week that was available he said something that wasnt waiting from him. He said that his technician told him they didnt do it. I then realized his technician our more favorable then a paying 1st time customer that just bought this car a month ago that can shared there were no stains on any seat. I believe a paying customer is what keeps business going not the technician. This didnt go well and mentioned issue to Groupon and will never go back. I also told my friends and family about my experience. At no time a technician no matter what should be more valuable then a paying customer.

They suggested I use American First Finance to pay for repair and mentioned that the first 50 dollars would be deducted from my total. That was not true it was basically a fee to open up an account. Also called me to suggest I change all my brake pads for 1500! Was able to do this for $300 elsewhere

I have used the Midas location in Tomball several times for various issues with my vehicles. They are always courteous, professional and friendly. They took the time to show me what was necessary to repair the problems and made the repairs at a fair price. I would definitely recommend them.

I had an upgrade done on my Chevy Tahoe, they arranged for me to transported back and picked up(not a regular service) while work was done, very professional crew and excellent work.

Went in for a simple alignment, manager was late said due to traffic seemed nice told me he had been in the business for 20+ years and liked to look out for the customer ( that should have been my clue to leave) . They did evaluation called said did need alignment and also need tuneup stating records show one was never done altogether costing about $750 parts and labor. After all was said and don picked up car got home filled paperwork away and found receipt from last mechanic who did a tune up on the car year and half ago. Feel like I was lied to by one of the individuals and possibly sold a service I did not really need.

My father in-law recommended me to see Mr. Troy at his Tomball Midas location when I realized my breaks were grinding. My bill was close to $450 due to the damage on the rotors. However he gave me a discount of almost $100 which was close to around how much i would’ve paid if purchasing everything from a part store and doing it myself, meaning he put little to nothing in his own pocket after paying his tech.Then recently a small plastic piece on my break pedal wore out and broke off causing my break lights to stay on continuously even after the car was off. He texted me just a couple of weeks prior asking if I was ready for an oil change (which I thought was very cool) so I had his #. When I discovered the problem Friday evening I texted to all of he could fix this for me and Saturday morning he responded yes. By Saturday afternoon I pulled in and he took care of the little plastic piece free of charge. This man, Troy, is a kind, caring, generous man; not looking for ways he can squeeze another dollar out of the people who come to his business, he looks for ways he can earn your trust and loyalty to his shop. Mr. Troy has most definitely earned my trust and loyalty. Thank you sir. I appreciate you and am thankful for your help and kindness.

Manager Kazori is knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and extremely helpful. This was my second visit for service since my 1st experience was so positive. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They treated me great as well as showing me the worn-out parts. I was glad to know that they were not trying to get me to have unnecessary work done. My experience was great. All the work that needed to be done was thoroughly explained and they worked hard to keep the cost down and help me with the financing. I have confidence in their work. Wow, this place is great. Fast and friendly service. Everything is new and clean. It is a very nice environment to wait. My oil change was done in left than 20 minutes, and I was recommended some repair work. They didn’t pressure me to get the work done either. The manager, Gabriel was very friendly and courteous. He afford me some refreshments, and made me feel very comfortable. This was a great experience and I’ll definitely be back.

I strongly recommend Gabriel and his shop. Im a hobby mechanic on the weekend when it comes to my toys but rely on his team for any extensive repairs and diagnostics on the daily driver (2011 Ram) . Gabriels pricing is detailed, honest and fair. Hes quoted family members and friends with no automotive knowledge in the same manner so I would gladly recommend him to anyone.

Absolute best car care professionals ever. I had my car serviced as well as the oil changed and they did an exceptional job. The service technician, Keith Tyson was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was also very thoughtful. It started pouring down raining while they serviced my car. So instead of pulling my car around to the front of the building, he backed my car into the bay and allowed me to enter my car through the garage. He saved me a trip to the salon. In addition, the Assistant Manager Zori has the perfect disposition for dealing with clients. Great team! Great service! Great care for the client!

Love this place. It was quick and easy. Came in for alignment because another place told me I needed one and to find out I didn’t. They were completely honest and up front. Will definitely be back.

This is the only place I get my oil changed at, they’re always so friendly, helpful and the prices are super affordable! I have to get my oil changed every two months because of my commute and it’s great not having to spend an arm and a leg on an oil change.

Never been to Midas before. Got a really good Groupon price on a full synthetic oil change and decided to give it a shot. Service was great and I was very pleased with my experience overall. I’ll be back, especially if this price remains on the oil change.

Went for alignment but was presented with $2,000 of other things for them to do. All that took more time than I wanted to spend.

These guys are incompetent. I have been to this location twice. I originally came in for an alignment and an oil change. After telling me it would take an hour, an hour went by and they didnt even have my car in the shop. Than they got in in for the alignment, and it took another hour and a half. Than they test drove it, and pulled in back in to the shop. Another half hour. I finally got my car back and the steering wheel was off center.A few months later my wife took her car in, a Mazda CX-5. Just a simple tire rotation and oil change. She got in her car and the tire light was on. They told her she needed to drive the car for light to reset, which wasnt true. She drove the car, the light did not reset of course. She called the shop. THEY TOLD HER TO TAKE THE CAR TO DISCOUNT TIRE TO CHECK THE TIRE PRESSURE. If you are too lazy to properly check tire pressure or look up how to reset a light, than you do not belong in the automotive industry.She brought the car home. I pressed the tire sensor reset light. IT IS ON THE DASHBOARD. The light went out.Than she noticed the car was idling rough. They didnt properly put the air filter box back together. Not a difficult task.

This is the worst place ever. They are scams!! Advertise a promotion over Groupon, and they dont honor the promotion. I wasted time, gas and money. I will sue them for damages!!

The manager, Kazori Lane, handled the inspection in a timely manner and knows how to make a customer feel welcome in their business. I perform all of my own vehicle maintenance, however, in the middle of moving from one town to another, I did not have a suitable working area nor access to my tools in order to work on my wife’s SUV. My wife’s vehicle needed new brakes & rotors on all four wheels & I knew it! I went to Midas in Tomball, TX. Easy to locate, right off 249. The Manager & all the staff were professional, polite & respectful. I am very knowledgable mechanically & I knew what was wrong with my wife’s SUV & what it needed. After Midas inspected the brakes, the manager texted me photos of the vehicle & called me to discuss the repairs needed. Everything the manager explained to me was 100% accurate, honest & exactly what was required to repair my wife’s SUV to like new & SAFE operating condition. Midas completed the work & in a timely manner & the SUV works perfectly. Great people, great service, honest, thorough, safe & great prices......I will return for service & highly recommend Midas in Tomball, TX. For your vehicle maintenance needs.
