Each section is labeled, and the labels are large and clearly written, so you know exactly what kind of books youre looking at, which is more than most mom-and-pop used bookstores do. The fixtures of the house are still in place (including a sink and toilet in the former bathroom, and cabinets in the kitchen), so it really feels like youre walking through a book attic! They have an interesting selection, and I actually found multiple books to suit my tastes, which is rare for me. The employees (owners?) are both quite nice and helpful. They do buy back books too! My only complaint is that its a bit cramped, so if there are two people trying to pass each other its a bit difficult. It looks like construction is going on to expand the house/bookstore, so that might not be a problem for much longer.

Books books and more books! First time here and loved it. So many books of all genres, so space is tight but makes it feel very homey. Plan to spend some time here. There is lots to choose from.

This is a favorite local gem. Be prepared to feel like youre really in an attic... There are TONS of books so its a little cramped, and you have to pay attention to the sections if youre looking for something specific, but youre bound to find something to read here. Most books are half off the cover price but pay attention to any stickers on the back noting a different price (especially for new releases or high-demand books). Theres a minimum price (around $3) for any book, which doesnt make a lot of sense for some kids books that were $1 new, but on the other hand, there are bills to pay. Just watch the stickers and decide if its worth it to support a local business. :) Bring your own books for trade-in credit. Happy reading!

It was a wonderful, seemless experience selling & purchasing books at The Book Attic. The owner was so kind to stay open a little later than closing time to accommodate me coming over so close to closing. She also helped another gentleman customer who stopped by. Her shop was filled with SO many books, and so many genres. I am looking forward to going back as I use up my trade-credit towards purchasing other books.

Located in the Historic District of downtown Tomball, and in a 1932 structure that was at one time a home, The Book Attic is a great destination for book lovers! Cyndi, the bookstore owner, is so knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to digging for a special book!

Books piled high Its a bookworms dream. The owner is a doll, and while the house is definitely old And charming There wasnt a cosy spot to go sit with a book that you might want to take home with you. thats probably the only thing it really lacks. Her books are reasonable even for someone whos a penny pincher.

Its been a while since Ive been in a used book store. Actually, its a house which I think is wonderful! Brought back good memories. I wasnt expecting much of a selection, but their collection is decent. Lots of books that I liked & read before. They have a good childrens section and a sci-fi/ fantasy collection 💘. They have a huge romance section. Not my genre, but wow, took up a couple of rooms. They also give you credit for books you want to trade in. There are games you can buy. And a small section of beautifully handmade journals. Im definitely coming back here.

An absolutely fantastic gem of a place. This little cottage is a hidden treasure with its large kids section and huge westerns room. If these arent for you, dont be deterred. You can find any and all topics here including classics!

Lots of 2nd hand books all different categories.The business is in an old home right on Main Street its got a cool inviting vibe and the service from I assume the owner is very personal. will define go back.

I just heard that the owner is planning to sell so that she can retire. 😩 Not sure when it will transpire. Although Im happy for her, I hope the store stays the same. First time visitors 😊 Initially went to enjoy the Toddler Reading event and activities, but we also enjoyed the bookstore ands their children section. The event was even more fun than we anticipated -- and our son has a great time doing the activities!

Stumbled on this place quite by accident and what a surprise!!! Ended up buying three or four books and the owner was extremely helpful and nice and obviously has a very loyal local following. Looking forward to stopping hi there again the next time Im in the area

Limited parking in a small, cramped lot. Only three spaces and one is reserved for the disabled. The ceiling is low and inconvenient for tall people. The price point is awful. The new Book Attic charges a minimum of $3.00 regardless if the book was originally 95 cents.

This is by far one of my favorite books stores. Walking up I thought there couldnt be a good selection based on the size but shes really made the most of the space. Tons of books and genres to choose from.

Lovely place. Owner was a very nice lady. I enjoyed our conversation and my visit very much. I even found a copy of The Neverending Story.

Cindy has a wide assortment of books. There are hardbacks and paperbacks. She has a lot of Biblical books, Amish novels, and Cindy is so willing to help you.

People now days dont read paper book but they are easy to pick-up anytime no internet need and easy to find where you stoped. This place somethings not found on line.
