I needed to replace a couple deadbolts and one keyed entry after 31 years. I looked at major home improvement stores and their websites indicated not in stock, not available for delivery. Besides, Id have to pay a lock smith to change the keying to match my existing. Door Locks Direct had what I wanted in stock. An email exchange indicated how I could get them keyed as I wanted. Customer service was excellent; prices were competitive, order processing was fast; and delivery was on time. What more can you ask for?

Great customer service! Lorena assisted me in selecting the proper door lock.I didnt know what type of lock I needed, I accidentally purchased the wrong type. I thought I knew what I wanted, turns out I needed to get help from someone with knowledge and experience.My return was easy and fast.Lorena guided me to the webpage that had the perfect lock. I needed an Institutional lock, the kind that automatically stays locked on both sides, you need a key to open from either side, every time.My replacement was shipped out quickly.Lock works perfectly and looks really good.Im very happy with the price, purchase, and service.
I spoke with Richard to place an order for many different locks, deadbolts and handles. There was 1 item that they did not have in stock, and he told me it might be 2 months before he could get it. I was really HAPPY when I received my complete order within 1 week (including the piece that he didnt have initially). The items were all keyed alike and this is not something that the big box stores will do anymore, so I was really happy with that. We got the locks on the first 3 doors with no problem. Then the 4th deadbolt did not fit properly. So I called Richard and he said that was a very simple fix. All we had to do was twist the latch because it was able to fit 2 sizes. Door Locks Direct really did a great job on our order and I am very pleased.
After returning their product they charged me a restocking fee although their website return conditions clearly do not state they practice that. If it did I might have reconsider ordering from them in the first place. I requested that the company adjust my refund and state their restocking fee practices on their website for the future, but they never responded back nor provided final full refund.
