Ill make it short: eat here, and do so often. Every dish has that authentic feel, and I havent tried anything I didnt like. Really enjoy the bread thats served with drinks, not something Id normally note for the record. Ive been going to the original location in Jersey Village for years, was delighted at a location so close to The Woodlands. I had heard about the fore at the JV place, where I have so many good memories, truly hope that all gets sorted out with a minimum of fuss. Oh, most dishes are pretty large, so midnight snack, lunch the next day. Bonus!
Was quite cozy .atmosphere was just right ..the food spoke for itself. Prices were great for 4 entrees 2 apps and a beer was u der 80 ..would def go back

Went here on 5/14/2021 Friday at lunch. Have to say it is much nicer inside than I thought it would be! You see mini mall strip & think generic tables & chairs..no way here! Very nice inside! Nice decor, booths, tables & bar. Decor is right up there with any main stream restaurant! Waitress was Lara & we didnt have to wait long for food. We are retired so no rush. But great service! We both got sodas (coke products! Yes!) Husband ordered a 12pizza w/2 toppings. I got lunch Spaghetti w/the works. Also a ceasar salad ($1 extra) since not house salad? Anyway, ceasar is more of an oil base not the creamy base. Not great. I suggest they go to creamy, oil isnt great. But it was a good size & fresh. You also get bread free. Big basket & hot! Buttered but not to the extreme which I like!Ok the spaghetti w/the works...if you LOVE MEAT - this is for you! Carnivores rejoice! When I say meat sauce I mean MEAT! Not the meat sauce in some places where it is all sauce & maybe a meatball or specs of beef.Theirs has meat sauce, meatball, sliced sausage, mushrooms over marinara sauce w/spaghetti marinara sauce & Sherry wine (their description). OK IT WAS A LOT! More meat than pasta, which is rare! I took that home -boiled more spaghetti & put that on it-another whole meal! I dont eat a lot. I am sure there are people who would eat it in 1 sitting! And this was LUNCH! Husband liked his pizza! Thin crust but enough crust at the end like we all like it! Just right amount of sauce (have your choice of sauce too, look at menu pics). Overall, very happy we stopped! A friend highly recommended them! Our bill for all that was $25.42. Say what! AWESOME! My only mild concern is the tables are very close to each other. I dont like being squished (has zero to do w/covid). I prefer a booth, but all were taken. Wasnt a problem since it wasnt at capacity at the time.
This was my 3rd time coming in and everytime the food and atmosphere are always pleasant. Well definitely keep coming back. The only thing we werent to happy about was that theres only one restroom per gender. We really wish there was at least more accommodation for more people instead of just one person at a time.
Great food and great atmosphere. In the scorching heat in the Spring area where finding a tree is a miracle this place provides you a solace. Its dark inside with great smell of food. Compare your meatball sandwich from subway to theirs. You will change your perception about meatball sandwich.
We ordered to go, due to the quarantine in effect. But we wanted something really good & special for our anniversary dinner. It was so delicious! This is our new favorite place. The flavor was on point for both of our dishes. We had the shrimp diavolo & The Alex Special! Let’s not forget dessert. 2 thumbs up! And 5 stars!!!

The Food was delicious i like it the reason i give 2 star because when i ordered Calzone i repeatedly asked the girl in the phone that i don’t want pepperoni & Beacon in my Calzone instead i add chicken she charged me extra for that while i was eating i noticed that they put pepperoni in my Calzone i don’t know why they don’t follow the customer instructions i am not allergic to beacon but if someone who allergic it will be a big problem for the restaurant i hope that they management read my review and discuss this issue with Staff
Love this Italian restaurant and the 8 yr old always wants to visit Adriatic Cafe when we are seeking Italian. That should say alot. What 8 yr old has an opinion when going out to eat. The bread is so great we always have to purchase more before leaving to have at home. I am so happy they are in the area since the other location in Jersey Village was closer prior to moving North.
Super cute and quiet spot to grab lunch during the week.The atmosphere feels a bit romantic so a perfect place to have a mid day lunch with your boo.The servers are nice and helpful. The food is great and priced well.If it was closer to my job Id probably be here everyday just because of how relaxed the place feels.
I have always enjoyed going to the Jersey Village location. Never had a bad meal. Went for lunch with a friend his first time. We loved the bread but who doesnt lol. He had a mango margarita n i had the sangria. Both drinks were good. He ordered gluten free pasta w chicken. He loved it. The bacon made it very tasty. Good flavors. I ordered my usual veal masala. I have eaten this dish from the jersey location well over 30 times mostly take out on poker night. The veal so tender a knife is not needed. But it was so hard here. I couldnt eat it. I asked the server to tell the chef to try it. She did offer to cook another but i really didnt want to dance again. They took it off the bill. Our server was very nice. I asked my friend if he would go again. He said yes. Same here. 1 bad veal meal will not ruin the other 30 that really were fork tender good. I will be back 😁
Went to Adriatic Cafe in Spring today and was very disappointed. My pasta was dry with no flavor and the bread was stale and not warm. Normally the food is very good. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was the house salad was very delicious. Maybe it was a bad day to eat pasta.
Googled “spaghetti near me”on Google and ordered my dinner from Adriatic cafe italian grill via door dash because of reviews. I ended up NOT ordering spaghetti but got the chicken Alfredo instead and cheesy bread. It’s enough for 2-3 people!!! Delicious and I loved the cheesy bread!!! Yum!! Next time I’ll get spaghetti though.
Twice last year a lady in our small start up church had Italian food catered for us. It was so good. I had wanted to go to the café to try other items.The food is fantastic. But, be willing to wait as it is a very popular place.The place to go for awesome foo and will priced.

Their garlic bread is worth the trip. I had chicken fettuccine and their Alfredo sauce was very tasty and creamy. After saying all that, Our waitor was actually the best part. He was very helpful and attentive. Great experience.

This is a nice cozy little place with decent food. As far as I could tell, it was fresh. A very good choice if your in the area and dont want to eat at a typical chain Italian restaurant.

Decided to stop at at this Italian restaurant for lunch meal. Took a while to sit because waitress was busy sitting other people . Finally we sat down and were given a menu. Waitress asked us what we wanted to drink with our meal. I asked for coffee my wife asked for lemonade. I ordered shrimp scampi and my wife ordered the egg plant Parmigiano . Plates came that were of a great size . I also asked for marinara sauce . The best tasting marinara I have ever tasted in my 74 years . The shrimp scampi was a little on the drab side, but after added the marinara sauce to the scampi and had angel hair pasta for it . The change was the best shrimp scampi I have ever tasted . Im so glad we stopped there because its the number one Italian restaurant. Forget the rest come taste the best at the Adriatic Cafe on 45 north in spiring. The paking is plentiful, and there is handicap parking also . The restrooms are very clean, the tables and booths very spacious. And the service is great . Dont forget the bread they serve, is to die for with a scoop of marinara sauce ..and you are in Italian heaven . But dont take my word for it try it for yourself and youll be glad you did !!☆☆☆☆☆☆ stars for Adriatic Cafe .
IVE LIVED IN THE AREA FOR 15 YEARS ALMOST AND HAVE NEVER NOTICED THIS LITTLE PLACE. FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. SERVICE WAS GREAT. FOOD WAS OUT AND READY IN A TIMELY MANNER. AND ONE OF THE FEW RESTAURANTS THAT THEIR TIRAMISU RESEMBLES AN ACTUAL TIRAMISU WHICH IS A BIG THING FOR ME. WOULD DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK. RECOMMEND 100%.
Love this place! Staff were extremely courteous and friendly, from the moment we walked in the door they were attentive. Food was delicious and the portions was enormous. This is our go to spot for Italian food.
First time dining at this restaurant and we very much enjoyed it. I would give 5 stars except the service was a little rushed but courteous. We had an Adriatic Kiss for our cocktail... calamari, spaghetti with meat sauce and the pasta sampler. So much food! It was all delicious but we both had to take the remainder of our entrees home. No room for dessert. We do plan to visit again and would recommend.
Me and my wife finally decided to this Italian restaurant and were glad we did because it didnt disappoint. The service was very good and knowledgeable about the meal with very good recommendations. The atmosphere is quite and low key for a date night. The food is on point very delicious were definitely coming back.
This is my daughter and my favorite place to go together. We always get the caprese with mozzarella and basil. The balsamic glaze is divine. We are treated respectfully and the service is prompt. I love the music that is played in the background. The pasta selections I have ordered are all good. There is a complimentary bread basket at the introduction of your meal, the bread is crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. I also love that they have espresso and other coffees. We love this place and will be back, baby!
Great food and friendly service. Ordered fried calamari appetizer as have done in past. Then tried the lobster ravioli, very good, not an overwhelming seafood flavor and stuffed full of lobster, yum

My wife and I visited the Adriatic Cafe for the first time and had their Lobster Ravioli, a delicious lobster filled delight. The Ravioli was served with a delectable lobster sauce that made the meal. For an appetizer before the meal we chose the fried mozzarella sticks and oh my goodness what a treat. They also include fresh made bread that is out of this world! A definite recommend!!

First time ever eating here and did so based on the many good reviews, that said, the food was so disappointing. It is a sad attempt at Italian style at best. No where near authentic. Priced too high as I can get enjoyable authentic Italian for the same price.We went here for lunch today (saturday). $60 spent on two adults and a 12 year old. Had a few customers but not busy at all. Waiter lacked any personality at all. The garlic bread was sad and after I bite I was done with it. Ordered drinks and appetizer (bruschetta) and they came out very quickly. Proceeded to order entree and because the pasta comes with a salad those came out literally a minute later after receiving the bruschetta. It was a very sad looking salad at that. Mostly iceberg lettuce with like two pieces of spinach, literally a slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber with a pinch of shredded carrots on it.. bottle dressing squeezed into a metal cup to make it appear fancy.. I have had better Quality salad from mcdonalds. But as quickly as the salads were prepared that told me all I needed to know of the quality.The bruschetta was not typical as the bread was more doughy instead of toasted and it lacked that typical strong balsamic flavor. No feta cheese sprinkled on top either, instead a Colby cheddar mix melted to the bread first. Not bad, but not typical. The Alfredo sauce was boring (the lady and I both got Alfredo, hers chicken and mine Italian sausage). The chicken is horrible. Obviously a pre-cooked/packaged chicken because of the fake grill marks the texture of the chicken was very odd and chewy while at the same time dry and flavorless. The Italian sausage was not good either and had an odd texture to it as well. Again, probably a packaged product. The boy ordered a meatball sandwich which had a very odd and almost spoiled flavor to it. Again, texture of the meatballs was odd and not much of a ball rather more like mush.In short, nothing was authentic, which is fine if at least delicious but it wasnt even enjoyable and for the price point there are much better choices (Italian Cafe on Louetta). None of us finished our food and no one even cared to take the leftovers with us that is how little we liked it. Easy for me to say I will not be back to this establishment. Bluntly honest review. 🤷♂️ sorry.

Wanted to try something different and was interested in the catering services offered for a wedding we are having. Thankfully we tried it before we decided on this as a possibility.I was deeply disappointed in the quality of the food and the excuses that were given. When my husband spoke to the location he was informed that is just the way it is done.We called to inform them that the order was wrong and the meatball sub was mushy and had a bad taste as if it was spoiled. They informed us that is just the way it is done and its a family recipe. They also went on to let us know that the meatballs are sliced, in my opinion sliced shouldnt look shredded and mushy. The manager actually went as far as to say that since we had never tried it before, we should understand the way things are done there.As far as me and my family is concerned we will not be back to any of their locations, dominios has better food and better customer service.

The lasagna is outstanding, and we never think lasagna from any restaurant is good. We also ordered Veal François. Again, it was amazing. I cant say enough good about our new favorite find in Spring!!
Picked up food for stepdad birthday for 5 they did an excellent job food was outstanding. It is one of my go to places for sure.
We have eaten at the 249 location and enjoyed the food, but the food at this location is subpar. The chicken tasted boiled (and lightly sauteed at the end) and with no flavor to the chicken or sauce. Service was acceptable, but did not refill drinks unless asked. We will not be back.
This is one of the best places you can get Italian food and OMG the bread rolls. We have never been disappointed here and the service is always great. Great portions and even options for the vegetarians in your group.

I was craving Italian and looked up a place nearby. We ordered garlic bread, fried zucchini, Caesar salad, spaghetti with meatballs, and fettuccini Alfredo. We ordered it to go. Wow it was so unexpectedly delicious. The pasta, bread and sauces taste so fresh. The dishes were the perfect amount of seasoned, just the perfect amount of saltiness. The portions are generous and the price is fantastic. We will definitely be back and I imagine even better dining in! Thank you Adriatic Café for blessing us with your fresh, delicious food!

A woman employee was terrible. We ordered her “ please make al dente “ and she said “ okay “. It was not al dente. I don’t think she knows the al dente. Furthermore, she’d never taken care of us, and we were very thirsty until checkout

Every time I come to this restaurant and Lara or Chris serves me it is always very pleasant for me. Especially today when I woke up and my daughter told me she wanted a mother and daughter day for her birthday weekend. I couldn’t think of any other person or place to take her than Lara at the Adriatic Cafe where I knew my daughter would love her because she is so kind and patient as I come often but it was my daughters first time. But the whole time my daughter kept saying mommy she’s so nice. She really made my daughter birthday weekend Great! Thanks Adriatic for you great staff (Lara and Chris)!!!

We always love the food and the service, but it was way too crowded given the state of COVID-19 in our area. We will revert to take-out orders only, was there was no social distancing between tables or parties.

Ordered takeout through a delivery service - everything arrived hot and was nearly packaged. Fried zucchini was cooked perfectly and the cheese raviolis were huge and tender. Loved the flavor of the sauce too, it tasted very fresh. Also, do yourself a favor and get a cannoli because WOW yes 😍

Bread absolutely amazing. Mother in law raved about her Salmon (it looked delicious). She is Italian and has very high food standards. Chicken Italiana I had was meh (a bit bland). Gluten free pasta wife had was salty and mushy. She couldnt even eat it. Mixed reviews from kids on Calzones and pizza. Service was so so. With such great reviews of this place was a bit of a let down. If go again will stay away from pasta dishes and pizza/calzones.
This place serves absolutely delicious food that will definitely make me a regular customer! Burim was our server and he was very polite and attentive which is hard to find now a days. With the great food and service it is on the top of my list of places to go!

First of all, I would like to make it very clear that the Adriatic Café at Tomballs location is excellent in every way!I gave the two stars out of respect for the Adriatic Café at Tomballs location, if only from that location, I wouldnt give any stars, sorry!! 😔Now the Adriatic Café at this location on I-45 is simply, utterly disappointing, sadly, and dont even think about ordering to go! This store charges gratuity on a $30.00 simple to go account for lunch! My apologies, I dont understand! ⚠️When I opened my order package, all the dishes were empty, all luscious with fat, no parmesan cheese and peppers, as it were, always and finally just two small pieces of my favorite house roll, which I usually get from heap kindly at Tomball location!! And of course, the whole food came cold from the restaurant! I only asked for this location for the first time, as it is very close to a friends house where we were that day! Needless to say, our friends and my family, we wont make that mistake again, rigth? 🌟We will continue to only go to Tomballs location👏🏻!
