The staff has no idea what good customer service is.Store full of people,line around the isle at the register and the cashier is having a full blown conversation with someone and decided to leave the register to go show the person an item in an isle and continues to have a conversation. The one in Point Pleasant is MUCH MUCH better.

A lot more selection than the Sally I go to, the sales clerk was very sweet and patient. Honestly excellent costumer service. Was able to find what I was looking for :)
I just bought a brand new pair of WAHL designer clippers and trimmers. They do not work at all they make a crazy sound and I’m scared to use them on clients. I called the shop it has not even been a month and they told me that they cannot take them back. So this store sells equipment that does not work yet they won’t take it back. I have been shopping here for over 10 years and I am very disappointed and I want everyone to know how they treat their loyal customers. I will definitely never shop here again and will notify all my Hairdresser friends on Facebook/Instagram as well

I and 5 other customers went there today at 10 am. Store dark. I left after 15 minutes. Along with other customers. The opening time is 10 am. Unreliable. Inconvenient to customers. No help.
The Toms River location is the worst!! Every time I go in the staff is having melt downs over some thing. Todays catastrophe was the registers needing to be unplugged so they could reboot and the sales woman could not see her way to finding the plug. All while yelling at the poor IT guy that finding the plug was not in her pay grade. Smh Meanwhile, there were 6 people on line waiting to check out and just being ignored. The shelves were half empty as usual and God forbid you ask for assistance. The district and regional managers have some work to do there..perhaps start by hiring competent staff that have customer service skills?

I have given this place my business for years. Never had a problem, and was always super satisfied! til someone new took over and even before Covit the new owner didnt have a clue. Never opened on time, always pushy to purchase things i didnt need.... Called and called and called to make a curbside pickup and never got an answer on phone. Went there and knocked on door and girl said you have to call and I said nobody has answered for a lot of calls! Why put a curbside pickup if dont answer phone, Seriously!!!! She didnt have a clue just standing there. All I needed was a new pair of scissors but wouldnt do a thing. Will not be bringing my business there ever again!!! Get a clue on how to run a business and never give advice when you really dont know what youre talking about!!! If I could give zero stars Id give them
I wouldn’t even give this store one star. I also will never be shopping in there again since this new what she claims to be owner has taken over. She yelled in my face with absolutely no face covering with no reason at all as to why. All over a product That was in the wrong spot. She did not want to fix the issue (and she knew clearly she was at fault) so when her young employee addressed it to her she went off on the poor girl and myself . I will take my business elsewhere from now on. She is definitely crazy

Quite possibly the rudest staff I have ever dealt with. Covied 19 is no excuse for rude. Why does the company put up with these people? Its a good thing you have good products or you would never have any business there.

Nobody there knew what they were doing. A few of the workers were also rude. They got an attitude when I asked for help. I got told a lot of different advice which was too confusing and all recommended different products and ruined my hair. Their products are also over priced and cheap too. Barely anyone there has any real knowledge of cosmetics. Never going there to ruin my hair.
When is corporate going to look at these reviews and address management at this place? for years here manager is too much. too loud, too much pressure for ppl to buy extra stuff they dont need. no one needs to be stressed out while they shop. and ppl say they saw manager yelling at employees? not ok at all!!!

Very rude employees. I would suggest hiring more people to answer phone calls I called three times no one picked up the phone.I went up to the store because it says “ curb side pick up” and the employee was very rude DIANNE or Donna whatever her name is needs to work on her customer service.I work in retail too and she does not handle customers nicely.Certainly will not be coming back!!!!P.S she rolled her eyes when I went up to the door when I said I needed to place a order. Terrible customer service

This store accused me of stealing. I have never been this humiliated in my life. My husband and i have devoted our lives to careers in the military and only tried to support our country and the people in it, so to be accused of something so disgusting is atrocious. I was asked where some some conditioner that i was looking at went. I told the associate that i put it back. She then proceeded to say that she put out 4 this morning and where are the others. I then told her that i wanted her name and managers name so that i could report her. At this point i was still going to buy items from this store and she got upset because i kept saying i was reporting her to corporate. She then said she was calling the cops on me because i felt threatened so she was calling the cops. I have never physically threatened anyone in my life. As she was calling her manager walked in, she did try to diffuse the situation however she told me i was playing “the black card” when i told her i felt that i was racial profiled because out of 3 people in the store i was the only person that was asked about a product i had picked up earlier. She also went on to say that her father was black as if that had anything to do with her associate profiling me. I received no apology after i showed the contents of my purse and i also offered to sit and wait while she reviewed the cameras. While the manager continue to justify how i wasn’t profiled the associate Samantha continued to yell from the front of the store back to where we were. At that point i knew i wasn’t going to ever purchase anything at this store again and left. I reported them the the Sally’s corporate office. Please don’t shop here.
Every employee in this entity is excellent. These gracious ladies are sincere, knowledgeable and serve you with a smile and make you feel like family. RETAIL STORES SHOULD STRIVE TO ACHIEVE THIS BUSINESS MODEL.
So it says to call and place an order for curbside pick-up I call at about 11am this store numerous times to place an order. No one picks up I see the lady standing at the register so I walk up to the door pointing to the sign for curbside orders. Needless to say she never answered the phone or acknowledged that I was even there. I ordered what I needed online it’s pointless to have the store open if you aren’t there for curbside assistance. I hope this store doesn’t generate enough revenue and will have to shutdown due to covid 19.
I cant Stand the so called manager... she is rude and loud and very ignorant... she tries to give advise when I’ve been doing my own hair for 15 years if not longer. She literally tries to make you buy stuff you don’t need. Try’s to force products on you.... now when i go In there i ignore her when she speaks and always have to remind her not to touch me or my hair.
Michele is apparently the owner- believe that was a lie, is the nastiness women I have ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. Last night I came into the store and spoke with a saleswomen who convinced me on the hair products I needed to correct my color. I purchased what was recommended and went back in today because the color did not come out as stated. Michele, who says she is the manager and owner was working alone. I patiently waited in line to speak about last nights occurrence and if she can recommend the next color to make my hair back to dark. After waiting for her to take 6 customers, I went back to the counter where she proceeded to argue with me. She went on to say how I have done this to my own hair with so many processes. Last night was the first one done on my hair in almost 9 months. She then followed me to the color aisle where she proceeded to speak to me in a condescending way and loud enough to draw attention from other customers and in front of my child. I said I do not need her advice- are you a hairdresser? Do you do hair or color for a living? No -no you dont. I took the suggestion of your people working last night and cant do much worse on my own. She said they are all new and untrained. They dont know hair and her store is a DIY Home Depot style store. I said then they and her should not tell people what to use etc... . I also explained I am not her girlfriend as she continued to refer to me as. Have some respect when you speak to your customers and some professionalism. She continued on talking bad about me to her other customers at the register where I could hear her and my daughter could hear her.l, so I chose to walk out and take my business elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere more professional and knowledgeable.

Sign says they open at 9am but its currently 10:30am and the doors are locked. Knocked on the door. Me and 3 other woman were standing there waiting. This really sucks considering i needed products ASAP. Now i have to drive across town to the only other beauty store that has what i need. EDIT: make that 5, yes FIVE, people waiting outside. You guys Lost alot of customers. As Im driving away i see 2 more people walking up to the store.
Today the two associates that helped me find a nail polish dryer were very pleasant and helpful!

It is very frustrating, I have been helped a lot by the young woman who attends the store, she always recommends what is best for what I need, the last two times that I have gone to do my shopping, THE MANAGER who works in the store has been so disrespectful with the employees, that I have left the store with much indignation, seeing how she raises her voice and tries to humiliate the employees in front of me and other clients, while she talks and talks about her wonderful way of being, someone has to tell that lady that is, bullying

Dont know how they are still in business. They are never open when they are supposed to be. I have been here twice today, they were supposed to open at 9, its 11:17 now. Each time I go here I leave more disappointed. Just find somewhere else to go, not worth the drive. I have watched at least 25 people try to go there and left, including UPS and Mailman.UPDATE: 35 PEOPLE! Now 2 people showed up to open at 11:52!
