Terrible, I have 2 other piercings from a different place that healed perfectly fine. The girl I had messed up they weren’t pierced on the dots, they are uneven and will not heal right I did all the steps and still nothing. Not to mention the girl was very mean and should not be doing her job if she’s unhappy there.
Awful customer service and no care for the customers. They pierced my daughters ears and they were completely uneven. They were rude to my daughter as well, giving her an attitude and telling her there’s nothing to be nervous about and to just calm down because she was over reacting. The blonde lady also was not wearing a mask when she pierced my daughter.
You do need a appointment...but thankful for that because the two girls there were able to devote their time and full attention to my 13 month old baby today. They were amazing. They did both ears at the same time and made sure we were able to run her out of there as soon as we were done. Thank you for making our experience personable and smooth.
I am very happy with this location. the one girl who works there Rebecca always ensure we find exactly what we are looking for. and understand everything involved. she always gets us on the Bogosian and the sales though. lol we go in special to shop rather than online bc of her knowledge and courtesy.
Staff is unfriendly and claim you need an appointment to get your ears pierced because of covid. Every other location nearby does walk up piercings though.. this location is the only one not “accepting” walk ins. Staff told me there were no openings for the rest of the day - yet as I shopped nearby they didn’t pierce anyone for a solid 45 mins. Takes 15 mins to pierce someone. Not sure why they would push an easy sale away. In almost an hour you could pierce over 2 people. It was obvious the staff could not be bothered. Loosing a sale because you’re lazy? Not a good look. Spend your $$ at the Piercing Pagoda in Eatontown the staff there will pierce you on the spot and actually enjoy their job - well worth the drive.
Tried to call they dont pick up ..the manager needs to hire someone who cares about customer service
We bought our kids some chains and pendants at the Freehold Mall location and the woman there helped us out tremendously, giving us a good deal, while changing the chains around in order to cover the chains and pendants under the insurance policy. Our sons chain was too long, so we went to the Toms River location to exchange for a shorter chain. The lady there by the name of Lucenia was extremely rude and had an attitude, using specific language of chains from the jewelry industry that I do not know, as I am not in that industry. She told me she wasnt going to answer my question again and had already answered it and walked away. Lucenia gets zero stars from me. Then came Gabby, a great worker and worked with us on the issue. For some reason, since the lady in Freehold switched things around, when Gabby tried to exchange it wouldnt let her since the chains and pendants were switched up at time of purchase. Gabby worked with us and even though we were not able to exchange, she was nice and courteous. We ended up having to buy another chain for our son. Bottom line, Lucenia gets zero stars and we will not be returning to Piercing Pagoda for future purchases.
They made me feel very comfortable when taking my 3 month old to get her ears pierced, very nice knowledgeable workers. Good experience over all
