Where do I even begin?This is hands down the best smoke shop Ive ever been to - and Ive been to A LOT of smoke shops. A major reason this is true is because the owner and shop manager, Jen, is super friendly, knowledgeable about the products she carries, and just a down right awesome person. My husband and I had been wanting to stop in since we moved to the area a few months ago, and now I dont know why we waited so long. The prices are really affordable and the inventory is stocked. In addition to the obvious products that are sold in any smoke shop, Jen carries a plethora of art, clothes, jewelry, incense and trinkets galore. Plus, the shop is realllllly cute. Like, really cute.Seriously, this is your new favorite smoke shop.

I absolutely adore Open Minded! My cousin introduced me to this little shop years ago. Although its a bit of a drive from the island (my residence is in Seaside), it is totally worth the trip, especially on a rainy day. All of the employees are so pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable of their stock.In addition to being a smoke shop, there is also a wide array of fun little items for your everyday spiritualist, including incense, crystals, fun clothing, etc.I recently went in for CBD products and they were happy to introduce me to some cool stuff, and talk to me about their recommendations.Definitely add this place to your list, if youre in the area!

This store is amazing! They’ve got everything you need and if they don’t chances are they might order it for you! Jen and Fran are the truth and just the sweetest people you could hope to meet. Awesome place for chill people. Not a place for people in a rush. Theyll get to you when they do but, when the staff helps you its A+ service in helping find exactly what you need. I wouldnt reccomend anywhere else for your tobacco water pipe and accessory needs. They have always worked with me as example the one time I didnt have the $7.00 tax but I had the $150.00 for a tobacco pipe and they helped me still leave the store with it in hand. I will forever be grateful. Where else does that nowadays? When you support Open Minded you support a grass roots, DIY business that you just dont see anymore. Lets show them as much love as possible and help each other grow and prosper.

They have awesome dream catchers and jewelry made with beautiful crystals and an ideal display of smoking essentials that are right at your disposal! Owner / staff are always there to answer any questions you have n knowledgeable about their products which we all appreciate!

Staff is always friendly and they’re very knowledgeable about the products they carry. I usually stop by once a month to check out what new things they have in stock. Their selection of candles are great and I have gotten them as presents for family on more than one occasion. Also have tobacco pipes for any price point; from soft glass all the way up to custom designer glass worth 4 digits. Always a pleasure to stop by when I can.

I have come here so many times over the past few years. Every piece I have ever bought came from here, not only glass, but even cute hippie pants. The staff treats you like family, are very knowledgeable & reasonable when it comes to negotiating.I specifically have to thank Mel for helping my boyfriend & I out by recommending the 3 pieces we bought within the past 2 days. Im not very familiar with South (or, as some locals call it, central) Jersey, but I was there visiting my mom and needed some equipment to help me take my medicine. I had an amazing time and have since been back every time I visit Jersey. I always enjoy the conversation I have with the employees and it seems like I end up with a discount or free item each time I go! Check this place out for everything from bongs and bowls to shirts, beads, and candles!

Ive been coming to this shop for quite some time. I dont know where to start when I think of open minded all I can think is its AWESOME!!!!! First off the people are friendly and knowledgeable and honest... From the moment you walk in they make you feel like family. The products they sell are top quality and priced right.. and last but certainly not least the owner Jen is the most caring and genuine soul. She takes the time and make sure her customer are happy and satisfied and believe me when i say you wont be unhappy or dissatisfied when you leave.. .. I can honestly say I love this place.. Its my happy place. 😊.

Staff was super courteous and friendly, answered my questions without hesitation. I registered for a drawing they were having and won. They read through what they were sending me, and I was amazed, but more so when I got it. They were friendly, excited, and personable every step of the way, and refused to let me cover shipping even. The best shop of its kind that I have ever been to. Everyone who works there is super friendly. They have such a large selection of items to purchase, including lots of locally made clothing, art, and jewelery. Theres always something new to see every time I go there. They always are super generous with the amount of free raffles they hold, and their customer appreciation days. The prices beat the other stores, and the atmosphere at open minded is much more relaxed and inviting. Ive been to some really great events thrown by them as well.

I love going to Open Minded. First off, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. When I walk through the door a wave of positive energy comes over me. The have a fine line of clothing, jewelry, candles, insense and a vast array of smoking supplies.

Im appalled at this place. I was in there a few weekends ago and there was two small children in there. I believe that they were an employees children. The staff were smoking cigarettes inside and around the kids. They were cursing and talking about the childrens father right in front of the kids. They were more focused on their personal conversation then helping customers. I watched who I think was their mother drinking this thing they sell called a catnip cocktail. Then when I was leaving I watched the person from the business next door conduct a drug transaction in the parking lot. In past visits the parking lot was littered with empty cat nip cocktail bottles. This place is a headshop not a daycare. Im disappointed that a place that used to have such a good reputation has declined.

The staff is often kind and they dont seem money hungry like other places; they often will cut me a deal, which I truly appreciate. Id suggest giving this place a try. I come here all the time and always spot new things that really catch my eye. Its like going to a museum in stoner heaven 💕

Used to enjoy going there, fairly reasonable prices and discounts for practically walking in the door. The past three times I have gone in though at least one to two employees have been smoking cigarettes inside of the store itself. The first time she was in the narrow path near the back door. But the last time they were full blown in the middle, behind the counter, just smoking away. I understand I am going into a smoke shop and everything, but I quit smoking cigarettes for a reason. And to think of all of those glasses pieces being coated with second hand smoke. Will not do any further business with them.

This is hands down my favorite shop ever. The only time Ill go to another one is if Im unfortunately out of state. Otherwise, this is where Im at. The service is amazing, the owners are fantastic and knowledgeable and the vibe is definitely worth an experience. Will always be my go-to shop!

Loved my experience. Bought a dr dabber boost which unfortunately didnt charge at first so I brought it back the next day and they were very helpful and swapped it out for another one and now everything is wonderful. Ended up going back for a bowl and bought the incredibowl which is the best piece I ever bought. Cant wait to go back. Love the staff (thanks for all your help Silvia) and they got the best of everything.
