Donna was amazing, weve gone in there a few times and we love her! Attention to detail is unmatched, along with her knowledge of each stone and design. Very impressed! Our bathroom came out amazing, everyone tells us how great the stone looks. Worth every penny! Dont go to home depot for something similar, we found out that it just isnt the same quality. Trust us! We also had a custom bound throw rug made that came out perfect for our dining room and electric Hunter Douglas blinds that gave a super refined look Thanks! Thanks again!

Need tile for bath remodel, floor, surround and shower basin, need to match all 3. Went here this morning, store not busy, 6 associates clustered around desk. Was directed to a table and told to pull pieces of tile off the wall if I wanted to look at anything. Im 52, 130 lbs, 56 years old and have a bad shoulder. Did my best, carried 16x16 floor pieces (or maybe 18x18), 36x24 wall pieces one at a time and very heavy accent piece (no sample I was told, just the heavy piece already attached to a decorative display) for basin. Had to keep carrying the accent piece back to the wall to look, match, set it down, carry the tile of interest to to the table, come back, get the accent... Asked about maybe color samples or something other than lugging heavy tiles from the back of the store to the table in front. Was told it would take several weeks to order samples. No offer to help me carry tiles or offer color suggestions. Ended up leaving, just couldnt shoulder one more piece; was only able to pull six pieces which didnt match up. Unless you are in condition to do heavy lifting, not the place for you. Also wear work boots. Had sandals on, wouldnt have been good if dropped the tiles on my toes. (Probably wouldve been charged if dropped tile and broke) Came home and cried, (OK, so Im a girl). Just was so very disappointed in the experience.

Was not able to connect with my original sales associate but Dave took the time to make sure all questions were answered. Was on the phone with him for over 10 minutes. My wife and I went to Avalon Flooring to look for remnant carpets for the two small bedrooms in our home in Toms River. We were greeted by David T and he led us directly to the remnants that were in stock. David assisted us in choosing two quality remnants and working out a fair price for padding and installation. It was a pleasure working with him and we would definitely return there to buy carpets in the future.

My Salesman, Dave T., and the gentleman who came out to measure the room, Joe Pompilio were fantastic to deal with. Dave was very friendly and helpful by making sure he explained all of our options with the type of carpet we were looking for.Joe was in and out with 15 minutes, and he arrived within the first 10 minutes of the two-hour window I was given. When we decide to change or upgrade our other rooms, we will definitely choose Avalon Flooring again.

Love Avalon Flooring. The show room was clean and organized. Our sales man Dave, was accommodating, very informative and directed us to exactly what we wanted in our new floors. My go-to place for all tile projects! Alicia was so helpful with our kitchen backsplash, we had exactly what we needed at it came out amazing! This year we were back for our fireplace surround and I called Alicia with a picture off Pinterest because I knew she would be able to help. She got me the perfect match in exactly the color I wanted. Call Alicia, you won’t be disappointed!

I own a residential construction company and use Avalone for 95% of my projects that involve flooring or tile. I couldnt be anymore pleased or my clients. Selections are large and styles are broad. Alicia is my go-to saleswoman and she is on top of all the orders I have ever placed. That is also true of the other staff and her co-workers there, especially when she is unavailable there is always someone there to help. I have been using Avalon for close to 10 years.

Absolutely terrible. I am not one to write reviews, especially not if they are negative. I do feel the need to share my experience at the Toms River, Avalon. I am so very disappointed in the lack of quality customer service. Our salesman, David, was nice when we first met him, but once the sale was made and we made the decision to not use Avalon to install our floors, it seems as if no effort was made to ensure that our delivery process went smoothly. Two mistakes were made in regards to shipping and delivery. Imagine the frustration as a first time home owner to not be able to install and finish your floors for almost a month because of the consistent mistakes of your service provider. Secondly, the information that we were given by our salesman, was constantly incorrect. Our contractor was thankfully able to give us the correct information about the floors we ordered and the proper way to install them. Overall, I do NOT recommend the Toms River Avalon. Avalon has beautiful quality flooring, however, the customer service in Toms River needs a great deal of work.Update: I have to commend Brian, the VP of Sales and Suzanneat the Toms River Location for their dedication in helping my fiance and I to correct the miscommunications with our experience. Since my first review, I was contacted in regards to my concerns and they worked together to come up with a way to help us solve any other problems we had. Thank you Brian and Suzanne!

I worked with David T. who helped me select flooring for a home we have in Toms River. Some selections we had to pick remotely while we were at our other home in NYC and could not get down there in time. We really needed to pick something out to keep our contractor on schedule and he even went the extra mile to use FaceTime to help use finalize our decisions so that we could see the color comparison remotely. I would like to share my experience at the Brick Avalon store. Our sales representative Diane Costa went above and beyond as far customer service is valued. We were looking for a vinyl planking and we did not know where to start. Diane was very knowledgeable in the different products that were available. She was very patient with us as we asked her a million questions. If there was a question we asked and she didn’t know the answer she would find out either by someone in the store or by a phone call. She helped us select different samples to take home. We selected our flooring and ordered it .She kept us informed as to the status of our order, and when it would be ready for pickup. We will be going back to her for our flooring needs.

In a nutshell, the salesman was not overly interested in helping me to get what I wanted, and the installers did a poor job they never quite finished. No calls to the store after the botched installation were returned. I couldnt recommend them in good conscience, which is a real shame, because they carry nice products. However, once they had my money, there was no sign of accountability.

David Trapkin was terrific! Took the time to help me and was very helpful in the process. Will go back to the place again.

Walked in Store and 3 women were behind counter chatting, I got up to the counter and they seen me but kept having their own private conversation and didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Mind you no other customers were in the store. After about 3 minutes I turned around and walked out.

First time EVER writing a bad review....keep that in mind. Shopped in Brick and gave measurements for shower. Sales rep gets calculator...takes time working the numbers all professional like. Place order based on her calculations. Never once were we told to check or do the math ourselves. Tile is done by my husband. We have to carry 7 full boxes and an 8th almost full back down stairs of newly raised house. Drive to warehouse in Toms River to find out we had to pay a 20% restocking fee (nearly 80.00). Return rep apologizes says shes trustworthy and its policy. Are you kidding me? What we are wondering is: was the sales rep that inept at math or is this a scam to make money off of people? We used 4 boxes and returned 7 full....how does one miscalculate that poorly? Never again....weve had enough.
