These guys are great. A few months ago my Wii was no longer reading discs. For a reasonable price they repaired it for me and when I was bringing it over for repair I accidentally broke the cord for the motion sensor bar. They threw in a replacement for free.

I absolutely love this place! I personally enjoy the retro games, but the other things are neat as well. Very reasonable pricing, great employees. I wish the website wasn’t shut down, I’d recommend setting up a new one. Other than that, it’s a full reccomendation to any video game or board game fans in the Toms River area!

They fixed my xbox one when microsoft told me it was nothing left that can be done to fix it. I have a Series X already so i didnt need a new xbox at all. My Xbox on that i need fixed was the day one addition and i couldnt trash it. So when they fixed it at the best price imaginable it made my life so much easier. Thanks so much for all your help!!

Nice store with a large and diverse stock of video games, board, card, and tabletop games. Free gaming tables and a small collection of demo board games to try. The staff was friendly, and the fellow gamers I met on their Facebook group for a game of Warhammer were also nice and welcoming.No parking besides what is on the street, and the street is metered. (edit) plenty of parking in walking distance, and the store workers will help you find what free parking is available if you call and ask before visiting.

Theres a very limited number of video games and the ones they do have are overpriced. However if you like tabletop games, card games (like magic the gathering), or other nerdy pursuits this place is a good spot. The worker was nice and could answer my questions on D&D minis or other things. I wish there was easier parking, but theres parking just a short walk away.

Great place for table top games, and they even have a selection of older video games from nes-xbox 360.

Friendly staff, decent selection on gaming supplies, and they have some mtg singles too. Only complaint is it seems they wont allow commander or tourny play until Wizards says so, even though i saw a pod when i stopped in. Could have been employees or something, but just doesn’t look good when you tell your customers they can’t.

There is something for everyone of any age to enjoy, whether it be games for purchase or games to play in store! Large selection of board games, miniature and tabletop games, and console games and gaming accessories. Welcoming communities for tabletop gaming! I have played Star Wars X-wing at ECG for a few years and I love the ECG staff and the community of X-wing players we have here. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Definitely would recommend!

A fantastic place to get your table top/card/RP gaming needs and even better place to relax and play. As well as find those classic video games for most every console made from the early 80s till now. Many great gaming communities also call East Coast Gamers their home shop and are always welcoming to new or interested players.

ECG is awesome! The community of folks that gathers there to roll dice, flip cards and move pieces around a board are friendly and welcoming. And the owner and staff are awesome at answering any and all questions and doing whatever they can to make sure gamers get what they need to play!

Exactly as it says. Games..... This place is huge. mostly Strategy games with a strong support with used video games. If you have an interest in games, go here, the guys who work there are very helpful and make the whole experience there great. Came here to grab some MTG goodies for my sister and my buddy. Great selection for singles and just about everything else. They are also working on a huge back area for tournaments and such.

I have had a preferred LGS that I have been a regular of for a while. Unfortunately, I moved and its very difficult for me to get there because of the distance. I was told about East Coast Gamers by a friend of mine, so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by their customer service and how welcoming they were to someone new being a regular customer in their store. (Some LGS can be a little culty). This is my destination anytime a new set releases now. Super impressed.

East Coast Gamers has a really friendly staff and I absolutely love their attention to their customers. Ive recently gotten back into the hobby wargaming, and theyre always ready to shoot the breeze. Game stores like East Coast live and die by their staff, and all the staff play the games and understand them. I always make it a point to stop by if Ive got some extra time. Their prices are super friendly as well. They have a ton of video gaming accessories as well, retro consoles and retro games, which is another added bonus. If youre in Toms River, definitely stop in, you wont regret it.

Huge gaming area! Magic the Gathering, tabletop miniatures, and video games. This place has it all. The prices are not bad. The staff is super friendly. The hours are great especially at nights and weekends. About to go there for a prerelease event. Very excited!

I heard about this store from a YouTube video I was watching. Decided to check it out and was impressed by the size of it. The store was very well maintained and clean. The employee I talked to was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained to me the event schedule of the store and what day to visit to meet players for my game.

Great store. They have a nice selection of retro games as well as some current games. Large selection of card games and board games as well. I went in to see if they had a PSP and they just had one traded in. The price they offered me was great, and actually less than what Ive seen it go on eBay for recently. The games I looked at were all reasonably priced as well. Next time Im in the area Ill be sure to stop by again.

Great place. You can literally go there and play games. Im from Indiana and we definitely dont have a store like this. Have a nice variety of electronics and video games. Very friendly atmosphere. A customer bought our first purchase for my son. It was a nice surprise. Always good to see that there are still kind and generous people out there. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. Love coming here with my friends to play D&D. They have a huge gaming area in the back. Highly recommend.

They have a great selection of stuff but there prices is way above other competition way above GameStop but if u have to have something right there and then like a extra controller go for it there used stuff might be a bit high in price but it still beats buying it new for more

Knowledgeable and helpful staff

Came in to this place the other night with a buddy of mine to check out the shop and this store deserves a 5 star rating. The Store was super clean, staff was beyond friendly, and i had an awesome time. I will 100% be coming back to this store for events/releases.

Not a bad place, but its turned into more of a card & board game place then a video game place, which is why I became a patron in the first place. Used to go weekly/every other week, now I might go once a year. Video games have become an afterthought it seems, though they are decently priced for what is there.

Love the atmosphere and staff! Always a good place to learn about gaming. Someone is always there to teach.

This place is awesome. I walked in and there were a bunch of people sitting at tables and playing Magic (the card game). I was a little taken back at first, because I didnt see the great selection of games & ect. on the wall. I then had the pleasurable opportunity of meeting some of the staff. They were so kind, helpful, and insightful. I could not say enough great things about this place. They have lots of video games covering most console generations. This is the kind of place I would go out of my way to go to again. There are many other game stores between here and my house, but this is my go to from now on.

Mike was an awesome host and easy to talk to and answered all my questions. My son also enjoyed his visit there.

The guys there are great. Very friendly and helpful, the community there is also very friendly. TCGs and more importantly table top games can be played here.

A friend of mine from work brought me here. It was amazing. The biggest LGS Ive ever been to. Had some card tables in the back for MTG, lots of people playing a nice variety of miniatures games. Likely the best store of its kind in the state - probably even in the tri-state area!

This is the place to go if you love retro and new video games! I had 2 games that were not working on my new retron 3 for the nes and i called and they cleaned the games for free. They definitely made me feel welcomed.The staff is amazing to. Another great part about them is that they let you trade in consoles and games for cash. They also test all the consoles once you buy them. Another great thing is that they also have some new generation games to so if you are looking for games or consoles make sure to go here. The last thing i would like to say is that they have great prices. They definitely deserve a 5 star.

Shop has a nice selection of vintage, neo-retro and newer video game systems and games, plus a myriad of tabletop games. When my wife and I visited, no one even acknowledged us. Many of the tabletop games were up on a wall behind the counter, so we couldnt even check them out. The one clerk was tied up with someone looking for a Magic card. We did buy two used XBox 360 games for a few bucks each. Unfortunately, the shop is very dark and dank feeling. Even putting up some framed promo posters would help. If they polish up the place, make it more comfortable, decorate and improve the lighting, maybe it would be a cooler place to hang out and play.

Prices on retro games and consoles are inconsistent with actual value. I understand a business has to make money, however, I have been to other stores which offer retro games and the prices are much closer to actual value. Im not going to pay more for something just because it is in a store, when I could just buy from ebay.I was also dissapointed in the selection. In my opinion this is a magic card game store more than it is a video game store. No xbox one or ps4 games. Its good for a quick visit from time to time, but it would not be my go to store.

So I was cruisin down the street in my 6 4, jockin some bitches, slappin some hoes, & I stumbled upon this store with my friend. I found it to be very nostalgic and have purchased a few things here, including ps1 and snes games. Overall the selection is pretty good, and they have some valuable games. The only gripe I have is that some of the games are rather expensive. Needless to say, I do enjoy the store & would not mind returning.
