Matt V and Joe L were the install team and they knocked it outta the park!!!! No contractor I spoke to was able to make me feel comfortable about the product like they did. II understand I have a older home and this wasnt a easy job for your installers. They had to deal with caulked in windows frames, sprayed in foam, and limited excess. Believe me, I understand the framing wasnt easy for them to remove.Unfortunately for me they decided to remove my brand new oak stained casings to remove the framing when this was suppose to be a retro fit. Meaning the wood never should have been touchedI now have damage to my once new oak casings on both windows and a ceil plate. I can easily wiggle one ceil plate by hand that was once secure. Not to mention the wood wasnt even installed properly once they removed it. Also having to paint.We used your company in the past for window replacement. That is why we paid good money for another home improvement project. Only to be very disappointed, and frustrated with the care of my property and what I was left with. Not what we expected.I feel bad saying this but the outcome wasnt favorable..

I am about 2 months late in giving this review, but I wanted to be sure to tell prospective customers about my great experience! Chuck B was the person who quoted the work to be done. He was very thorough and helpful. I had several quotes for this job and this one had the BEST combo of quality and value. Greg did the measurements which were PERFECT. The team of Matt V, Joe L and Ian A did the installation - almost 2 months ahead of schedule! They did a FABULOUS job and in half the allotted time! I have more windows and doors to replace in the not too distant future and I hope I can line up all these individuals again!

I have Comfort doing all my windows, front door and 2 storm doors. We signed contract in December, we’re told 20-22 weeks. Given a pandemic and obtaining materials, this was understood. We were contacted in March for install date 6/21. We confirmed install in 6/18. Scotty and his crew (I unfortunately didn’t catch the other guys names) showed up at 8am on 6/21 and every day after. Ground was kept clean and I was informed of everything at all times. 16 windows installed and new front door and storm door in 3.5 days. 5 stars to Scott and his crew. In times like these where it is just as easy to stay home, these guys come to work and take pride in it. I can not wait for siding and fascia crew to come in and do their thing.

Was very happy to be under contract with Comfort windows to install new windows in our home. While doing the install, they came across an issue with the side of our house, rot/deterioration on the one outer wall & they could not complete the job (wrap the windows) until we had the issue repaired. Understandable!! We asked them if they could quote us & we were rudely told NO we will not take this on, we have no time!! It was stated that if we told them the issue ahead of time they could have planned the time for repair. How would we know what is going under our siding?? They left and told us to not pay in full (which we were going to) because when I found someone to repair wall & replace siding then they would come out & wrap the windows and we would pay balance, we were fine with this. Two weeks later we get a phone call with balance minus the cost of wrapping windows & we were told they felt the job was complete. Well I didnt as I had no signed contract with anyone yet to repair outlet wall & complete THEIR window install. This is when I was told our balance would be sent to collections. Are you kidding me? We never even received a written bill with new balance - what happened to them wrapping the window & then us paying the balance? How about we were already your customer & we selected you out of several companies and you left us when you ran into a problem!! While manager was in our home he even told us that this is not the worse they had seen and it was just timing that they wouldnt work with us!! We kept asking to speak to an owner, that never happened. We were transferred around and sent to accounting!!! I told them I want to speak to an owner and the response I got was I work in the corporate office & see the owners all the time wth good is that to me!! So as of today our balance is paid because I found a company to not only repair the one side and put up new siding but to completely reside our home!! It will be awhile because everyone is booking so far out for jobs but that was never an issue with us we were willing to wait, Comfort windows just never gave us the courtesy of working with us!! Would never recommend them !!!

Hired to replace 10 windows. This has not been a positive experience at all.We started out last fall with them giving an estimate and we were told 14 to 16 weeks after guys measures . Which brings us to February install. Then we were contacted for install and were being told may.After a call to discuss this they scheduled us for end of February and showed up with incorrect windows . Apparently they were measuring was incorrect. So they had to come back for last 2 windows. Because after bringing the wrong size windows out again. Willing to bet there were more windows that were measured incorrectly and they rigged them to fit.. They returned with the right size but now. 1 window has a grill and the other does not. So today they come out for a final time so I think. Now they are installed but there is couple holes in the screen and a cut.After spending almost 7 k on windows I am not happy. This has been the worst experience with a contractor I have ever had. They tell you they are not responsible for painting staining etc. Then they add filler trim around edges and use silicone caulk . So even if you want to stain or paint it you then have to deal with that. Then theres the clean up of the sharp little bits of aluminum from the trim on the exterior. Very unprofessional!

Fantastic work and workers. Love our new look. These guys were considerate, conscientious and on time. Clean up tremendous. They were even kind to my plants that surrounded their ladder during construction. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We would ask for the same team next time. Quality windows but the company could not file my loan correctly and made me do the leg work to figure out how to fix an issue they started. It took nearly 9 weeks to get to a resolution, over them filing the paperwork incorrectly. The documentation of customers loans could use some quality control.

I just wanted to take a minute and compliment Nelson and Tyrone. These two guys are extremely professional, polite, and they did a great job. They were neat, cleaned up before they left, went over all of the instructions, and answered all of my questions.If I ever order more windows, Id like to request that you send Nelson and Tyrone to do the installation.If you have a rewards system, Id like to see you buy them dinner, give them a bonus, or whatever. They are the type of employees that will cause me to highly recommend your services.

We had the best experience with Comfort! From sales, to final measure to installation! The final results are beyond are expectations and we could not be happier with our Siding and windows. Bob in sales met with us multiple times to answer all our questions and brought lots of samples and plenty of references. Greg and Bill did the installation of our windows and siding and were informative, respectful, friendly, timely, tidy and did amazing work!We would recommend them all over again!

Contracted for 2 large window projects, one to be installed ASAP, and one to be installed in the spring. First - the install crew for both were fast, professional and did great work. the windows look good, I couldnt be happier with the install crews.Everything up until that point was a disaster. The salesman quoted me a lead time of 2-3 months for the first project, got the contract and it was actually 12-14 weeks. Not a fan of overextended sales pitches but i can get over that. It took 21+ weeks for them to install the windows. The pandemic is not an excuse as the contract/estimates were drawn up in late August. Despite that, I couldve looked past this with good communication. Unfortunately it was like pulling teeth getting the manager assigned to me (Carl) on the phone. He wouldnt pick up or return my calls, didnt follow through on promises for updates. On occasions where I finally was able to talk to him, all excuses - for the lack of communication, for the delays. No solutions, just its not my fault. To placate me he promised to discount both jobs, though he was unable to go into detail of what that would be. Of course when the work was completed and it was time to pay the balance, these discounts were not present and Carl again isnt picking up the phone. Luckily the installers both times had better luck tracking people down and between the 2 projects I ended up getting about $200 off of $6k in window installs. I will say I wouldve much preferred that the company acted professionally, communicated when things went wrong, and charged me the agreed upon price. Since they did the opposite, $200 is pretty insulting.

Comfort Windows and doors just finished installing a new walk in shower with sliding glass doors an new flooring. They were on time everyday, very professional and overall a great job. I would highly recommend them. I also contracted them to install a new garage door and entry door. Items should be in soon.

Ordered my bay window in May. They had a glitch in their computer system and it was ordered way later. Was supposed to be installed in 18-20 weeks but manager tells me it will be delivered in October but I have to wait till March of 2022 to have it installed. So their screw up and I have to wait almost a year for it to be put in.

We used Comfort windows to have a new window installed in my sons room! From the person who came to measure and go over the different types to the men who installed the window they were Superb!!!The guys arrived early to install the window, they were very polite and professional!! Be very careful choosing Comfort Windows.I was very disappointed in the service that I received. Somewhere between the salesperson and the final measurements my instructions were completely ignored. I have a window that looks perfectly centered from the outside. But I don’t care about that! The window is located in back corner of my patio- which is seen by no one. On the inside the the window is installed a foot from where I’d told both men it should be placed. It is off center and looks completely ridiculous install on the step leading from my backroom to the kitchenThe second window was installed and does not close or lock. The repair on this newly installed window is taking two weeks. I called the day after installation to report the problem.This may be a family company, but I was not treated with respect nor was I made to feel like a valued customer. Obviously, the remained of my home improvement will NOT be completed by Comfort Windows.

The crew arrived on time. They explained what they were going to do. They wore their masks and practiced social distancing. The work was done in a timely fashion. They were really professional. Clean up was quick. Bottom line they were great. Justin O and John P were the guys that made our day. And they did this in a heavy snowfall. Good Job Guys!!

Salse rep was easy to work with.The guys that did the final measurements were vary respectful of myself and house.The isolation crew was outstanding went above and beyond i dont think i could have gotten a better group.My only problem is the attitude and disrespect I got when I called on updates of my order.

We chose Comfort Windows as they were the most reasonably priced. My father is an architect and let us know that almost every window made today is adequately designed for energy efficiency so we had no reservations with Comfort Windows.We were quoted at 6-8 weeks from the date of our measurement to the date of our installation. It ended up being 10 weeks, which, if we had been properly informed and kept in the loop, would have been fine. We were however, brushed aside when asked what the holdup was and it took several points of contact on our part to get a professional answer other than “I’m sorry the world shut down this Spring.”On the other hand, the installers were professional. They arrived even a little earlier than the scheduled time, they respected the fact that we had young children in the house and kept their conversations appropriate. They only had one individual in the house so we didn’t have a bunch of guys walking through the house. They kept me informed as to the status of the installation through the process.I would recommend Comfort Windows to anyone but with the caution to keep in communication with the sales rep and customer service team.

Contacted this company after the first crew did our windows to have them come back and redo the outside trim that was poorly done and the inside trim of our large bay window that was never done in the first place. They left caulk all over the inside casing of 3 of 4 the windows along with poorly cut trim work that they did themselves where the angles dont even meet properly. They even took the insulation out of from the window casing which should not have been done. The 2nd crew that came back re-did some of the outside trim and it looked only slightly better than it had originally. I have been in contact with the office manager and he has yet to get back to me with a resolution for the poor service. Even after numerous attempts on my end to get in touch with him, still nothing. Maybe this company did good by some, but we did not have good luck with them. Would not recommend based on the poor attempt of communication on their end and lack of professionalism put into our home.

My windows were replaced by this company and they took every blind down in my house and did not put them back on (what kind of window service doesnt reinstall blinds?). They left my room a filthy mess when they were finished and had my house smelling like chemicals for a literal MONTH. We called the location to ask why our house smells like chemicals, and all they could say was to open up a window (like we havent already tried that) overall horrible experience, dont go to these people unless ur willing to do half the installation process yourself.

All 3 were very friendly, professional, nice and any question we had they answered with honesty and politely. Also wore their mask and social distance when they talked to us. They did an amazing job. We ordered an acrylic Shower Surround to replace our existing tub/shower for our bathroom remodel. We scheduled an estimate while at the Buffalo Home Show along with 3 other companies. We chose Comfort Windows because they were on time for the estimate the price was very competitive and we were impressed with their product choices and their ratings. We were told the time frame between estimate and install was between 6-8 weeks and they were right about 7 weeks.Day one of install, they were here at 8 a.m., worked all day until around 4 and completed a little more than 1/2 of the install. They were back at 8 a.m. on day 2, and had everything completed by 2:30 p.m. The installers, Will and Dan, were very courteous, worked well together, offered us to come in and look at the progress, asked our advise of where we wanted the bars and soap dishes, etc. Everything was cleaned up before they left for the day. And the shower came out better than we expected. Im very happy with the shower surround and the entire process. We would recommend Comfort Windows to my friends and family!

Id avoid. One of seven WNY companies we met with to replace 30 windows in our home. The only to not wear a mask.The salesman called me cheap within the first 5 minutes. That set the stage for a rather pushy sales experience that soon became confrontational. I asked the salesman to leave.The negative experience with Comforts sales process helped us decide on an alternative supplier who will receive our 25,000 cheap dollars.

A few years ago Comfort installed a sliding door and new window in my mudroom. The price was great and the install went perfectly. The reason I have dropped my review from 5 stars to 2 stars is due to the new quotes I have received from them on two other projects. Comfort is now playing the car sales game of quoting really high and then giving 30% off of the quote. The first time they quoted me, it was upfront and honest pricing without the sales game. I personally do not like conducting business in the gimmicky way Comfort now approaches the customer. Hence, I am lowering my review of the organization.

I am a repeat customer. This is now my 5th time using Comfort and I recommend them highly. In fact, 2 of my neighbors have now used them after seeing my completed work. They just completed Siding and Window Installations and the employees were professional, on time, kept me informed, and continued throughout the project to ask if I had any issues or questions. Thats all I can ask for, so Im very pleased and would gladly use them for future projects.

I had siding, doors and gutters replaced on my house. Cliff, Steve and Shane were the 3 crew member that worked on my house! They did an amazing job and really listened to the changes I wanted to see in my house! Very detail oriented, every line looks perfect! And my doors are awesome! Im now looking to have my roof replaced to protect the rest of my house and every roofer that has come over has complemented me on the quality of siding!

We had a new back door (storm and inside doors) manufactured and installed by Comfort. The quality of the doors and installation are great. We are very satisfied.I did not give 5 stars because of the dishonesty and lack of customer service. The salesman promised me the new door would be keyed to our existing lock so we wouldn’t need new keys. I verified this with the office when they placed the order for my door, and I even provided our key number to ensure the match. On the day of installation the crew waited until everything was completed to tell me they didn’t match the key and that’s actually not a service they offer. Oh and they broke our outside light and said they’d replace it (but never did). I called to get clarity around the lock miscommunication and I was assured this would be rectified. They passed me back to the salesman who said he’ll work on a solution for us. Never happened. A few more unanswered calls and I gave up. I don’t mind that it’s a different lock, I just wish they would have been honest about it rather than trying to just make the sale.

I dont even know where to begin. First time I called was about 2 months ago. I called to schedule an estimate, they told me i could do an appointment of virtual. I opted to do the virtual by uploading to Hover. 2 weeks later I called because no one had called me about the estimate and I was told they werent offering a virtual appraisal for siding. So I scheduled an appointment for someone to come out 2 weeks later. When Chuck came out he showed me a few selections and then said he would take pictures and upload them to hover and then reschedule another appointment to go over pricing. When I told him I already did the hover he was shocked because it wasnt given to him. So he left and said he would be back next week. Had u is boss given him the hover he wouldve been able to go over pricing right away. Then when Chuck was supposed to come back the next Friday he called me 4 hrs before he shouldve been there to tell me he has a schedule conflict he forgot about, but was stuttering when describing what it was, so he was probably lying. The manager did send another salesperson over within an hr, which is where the 1 star is from and the only good part of the experience. I then received the estimate from Dennis that day. When I got the estimate I was thrown off that they did not give a cost breakdown, so I asked for one. he said the company does not do that. After multiple texts back and forth he then began to be condescending and throwing in jabs to me about my job while still trying to get me to buy the job. I thought about posting the texts from the conversation here but I wont. They are also offering a 25% promotion by inflating their costs. I got an estimate for all the materials for the job from Miris for 20% of the total price they quoted me.

Had the tub taken out and shower put in at my parents. Looks great, cleaned up and mobility no longer a issue. Thanks

The crew arrives on time each day and communicate throughout the project. The installation was fast, but did not lack in attention to detail and quality. All finishing I saw was precise,clean and looks very nice inside and out. The products seem sturdy and well-made. We are already starting to feel a difference! The only thing I wasnt expecting was the smell. It seems some of the windows emanated a chemical-like order like wet paint. Im assuming it was due to the product being brand new and maybe the sealant? We just opened the windows for a bit to air it out and it was gone about a day or two after installation was completed so only a minor inconvenience. VERY happy over all and would recommend for window and door services!

We immediately noticed that the house was quieter and we no longer felt a draft or a radiation of coldness around our windows.The price we paid for our windows was much better than what we would have paid for another brand and we think they are much better windows, too!The work team was very much in tune to our concerns about having the windows installed on a much less than ideal December day.The workers arrived right on time, worked really great with together as an excellent team, were very polite and professional and cleaned up very neatly when the project was completed at the end of the day.

We had a tub to shower remodel finished last week and we absolutely made the right choice with Comfort Windows. From the salesman, Mike, right to the tail end of the actual install with Dan and Ryan, the work and professionalism was impeccable! The first day had a few more men and the demo and set up for the shower work was timely, and done with virtually no inconvenience to us or our home. On both days, the men took such care to cover and protect all areas involved. We have to mention that Dan is such a perfectionist with his intricate work and it clearly shows with the finished product, we just love it and it is beautiful. They cleaned up and all areas were spotless when done. We would surely look to Comfort Windows for a future home project and will take every opportunity to recommend them to others. I can not say enough about the crew that installed our siding. Ken W. and the guys on truck 150 were outstanding. Ken went above and beyond any expectations we had about how our home would look. He went as far as suggesting things to us that just made our homes appearance even better. I would highly recommend them.

I had the pleasure of having Neil O and his crew from Comfor Windows to install all new windows in my home the past two days. This crew lead by Neil was without a doubt the best experience I could have imagined. They were punctual, always clean, and willing to answer any and all questions I had. The quality of the windows themselves also a 5 out of 5. They made sure the windows and surrounding areas were clean before leaving. I’m extremely happy with the end result and will definitely be a repeat customer.

We had a bay window put in our living room recently. The crew was great. In and out same day, excellent work, very professional and we really love our new window.

We had some work done on our windows and the gentlemen who came to work were early and helpful throughout the entire project. ANY question I had, they answered and kept me updated on progress. They even helped to design a nice new wall and increase the curb-appeal of my home! This is very late, because it was in November, but Nelson, Tyrone, Manny, Matt and Brian were a great team and they even finished up earlier than expected!!

We had two second floor octagon windows replaced. Not an easy task because of their shape. Many angular cuts had to be made on the trim work which were all done to perfection. The installation crew were very timely, efficient and didnt leave a mess. We were very pleased with the job they performed.

Pros: Installation was excellent very nice fit. Some vinyl siding had to be removed, cut and fitted, I am expecting that it will stay in place. Installers very courteous.Cons: the window was not an exact replacement and can easily be noticed from the others from the inside....one closing latch in the middle rather than two below the upper grids. Also the grids on the top window are not lined up with those in the bottom window...poor workmanship.If I needed to do this again I would go to a big box store and see what the windows looked like before ordering them there.

This was my second time using Comfort Windows. The crew showed up on time and immediately got to work. The project was 2 new large windows on the front of my house and 1 smaller window on the side. The job was done faster than I expected. The end result was amazing. I feel like the front of my house has been completely transformed. I will continue to recommend Comfort to anyone I talk to. Keep up the great work.

Highly professional work. The crew manager, Cliff, is an artist with window trimming and sheet metal bending. He is meticulous and requests excellent work from his crew. The whole team at Comfort from our salesman, Bob, to the installation foreman, to the office support is exceptionally professional and willing to meet every of our requests. Well done Comfort.

The Installers..Ty and Nelson were very Knowledgable,,,and Courteous,,,and Explained there plan for Installing the Window --9 feet By 7 feet Three section window...They Protected the Living room floor,,and Cleaned Up after the Install..

Great Sales people, great staff and a great install team. Dennis Daniels was our salesman and did a great job in displaying the value behind the comfort windows brand. They demonstrate the windows by bringing in samples which really helped me visualize what we were getting into. These windows are very high quality and it has helped our heating costs immensely. We used to feel drafts coming in through our old wooden Anderson windows. Comfort windows, was by far and away, the best price we can find for replacing all our windows. The Install team is great, they have a solid crew and their foreman really makes sure that the team provides the best quality work. The install took roughly 3 days. I dont have anything negative to say about the experience whatsoever, I guess I would have liked the windows to be installed sooner (because of the cold winter we had) but I totally understand why. Its not every day someone will purchase 19 windows for a house! Thank you again Comfort windows team!

Nelson and Tyrone were excellent installers. Pleasant and efficient to my liking.

I had my windows installed on December 23rd 2019. It happened to be close to 60 degrees that day so I was happy. The crew, Cliff, Steve and Shane showed up early and I liked that too. They were no nonsense with the preparation in putting down really thick drop cloths and preparing. They offered to move the furniture out of the way for me but I had already done the bulk of the work.I could go on about how cool and nice these guys were while maintaining a sense of professionalism. So off they go like a well oiled machine in the installation. Cliff is wonderfully picky about perfection and I can really appreciate that. It took about six hours to complete the job and I couldnt be happier with the windows. They slide to the center of the picture window. The design seems to be in keeping with the original architecture of this 100 year old house. This particular design was recommended by the sales rep, Bob Conti. I wanted double hung on the two side windows and I thank Bob for showing me this alternative. The windows are air tight, easy to open, easy to clean and I no longer have to stand outside on the top of a 6ft ladder to clean them. I just slide each side over and reach out. Love it. All in all it was a great and painless experience and the most wonderful Christmas gift I ever gave myself. I very highly recommend this family owned company with their personable ways and I will be using them again hopefully in the very near future. Thanks, Patty

We couldnt be happier with our new shower. The price was better than other quotes we received and they offered more diverse color options. The crew was outstanding and the construction manager checked in with us each day during the 2 day installation to make sure everything was going to our satisfaction. A licensed plumber did the plumbing. Id definitely use them again.

From my initial call to ask for a quote on an egress window for my basement, my experience was full of miscommunication, inexperienced employees, and quite frankly lies. Im hoping this review actually motivates the manager to reach out to me personally. PS. How does a window installer not know if there was an existing lintel or not?Follow up to owners response: Doesnt an egress window always alter the foundation of a house? If it is beyond your scope you shouldnt advertise it.

Our new windows and door are beautiful! The salesman was super nice and did not pressure us...unlike some of the other companies we had estimates from. And all of their employees...measurement people, installers, office staff were all very nice. We have only had our new windows and doors for a month but so far they seem of very high quality and we have been happy with them.

ABSOLUTE WORST. COMPLETE INEPTITUDEComfort windows is so inept at their job it is tragic. They do not know when they will be able to get you the windows you order and pay for. Do not believe a word they say. The worst Customer service. Their service manager Bill is terrible. He has no idea when our install will be done. He is running the company... Buyer beware!I ordered Comfort windows in in September 2018. I was told by the Sales person that there would be no problem receiving the windows in my home in the 8-10 week installation time. They have been experiencing delays since July.. Never informed of this. When I call for the status they just change install dates, 3 different times now.It is now January 2019 and I am being told 4 more weeks. They never contact you to tell you about the delay. You have to be the one to follow up. First I was told supply issue, then breakage, then holiday, now it is because my window is custom size. Isnt it your business to know? Why dont you say that at the sales appointment. They bait you into purchase then lie about the install. Then string you along with delays and when you ask for a refund they say you have a contract...too bad.I would not recommend them or use them again. They should be ashamed of themselves.

20 windows changed out in less than 2 work days. Very efficient, polite and respectful of us and our property. I liked the fact that one guy was in charge as far as communication was concerned. Definitely would recommend to others.

I own a plumbing/heating company in WNY. They damaged a customers boiler line while they were doing a job. They called us to come fix it. We quickly and efficiently made the requested repair, and the company never paid bill. They constantly blame others within their own operation for the mistake. I am not a customer of theirs, nor would I recommend anyone else to become one.

Ordered my door and 1 window, at the end of August, was told 8-10 weeks for window to come in. Received a call in mid October, they were in, earliest Installation date was Nov 18th.that part is the reason for only 4 stars. The guys that came out to install were so nice and did a great job. I was told they would be here between 8 and 12. they were here at 8am. the installation went smoothly and efficiently. They cleaned up anything left behind, and even noticed that my hose had burst, behind the house & shut off the water, before I knew it happened. Cliff & Steve were the installers, and they were extremely nice & efficient. Would definitely let these guys do work at my house again. And I love that my door now closes and I can open it from the outside without a struggle!

The employees of the company were very accommodating and agreeable to work with. Service was always prompt and on time. The windows are just what I had hoped they would be. I cant speak more highly of Comfort Windows.

Install crew of Alex, Matt S. and John B. did a fantastic job. They arrived early, set up with quickly, were very professional, informative, clean and completed the job with no issues!

Love my new shower. Workers were very pleasant and neat. Everything was left clean and picked up. There was a small glitch with the water temperature and Chuck came back that evening to take care of it. Very satisfied.

Our install team Nelson and Tyrone were very polite and professional. Nelson brought to our attention one of the windows had a flaw with the manufacturer and he immediately put a call in for a new replacement

From start to finish this company by far knows how to make a customer happy. Every appointment was on time, the cleanup was spotless. The crew was very experienced and knew what they were doing. The pricing is very fair. Our first cold day of the season and i can finally sleep easy with no cold drafts or creeky windows when its windy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get windows.
