Upon walking in the store I was greeted by the friendly store manager Charles. I spent about 2 hours in the store learning every detail about every bed that I tried, and truly feel Charles had my best interest at heart. Was not rushed or pressured and he worked with me financially to find the best option within my budget. I had a great experience shopping for a new bed.

We were really taken care of at metro mattress!!! This was the first place my boyfriend and I went to shop around and we didn’t need to look any further. Michael was SO incredibly thorough with us, he walked us through just about everything we didn’t know that would help improve our sleep. Also was incredibly personably and friendly. Didn’t try to push us towards anything out of budget, we felt really comfortable with him the whole time. He even stayed past closing time to complete a deal with us and essentially gave us an unbeatable prices. We would shop here again in a heartbeat, amazing customer service.

We had a great experience with Metro Mattress, both in Henrietta and in Amherst, as we worked to find the right mattress for my 90-year-old mother who had broken her arm and wasn’t able to get to the store right away. Laura in Henrietta was so helpful on the phone, not only with suggestions but also with making the initial purchase happen very quickly. She was very knowledgeable and very pleasant and worked efficiently and I would highly recommend working with her. (The delivery men who brought the initial mattress were really good as well, very professional and polite.) And then when my mother could get to the Amherst store near her, (The initial mattress wasn’t quite right for her) Michael, the sales person there, was excellent as well. He spent a good deal of time with her as she tried out different mattresses (he and Laura had the same recommendations for her after the initial mattress didn’t work out - really good sales people think a like!). She was able to find the perfect mattress that will work very well for her. Finally, our thanks to Gary, the regional manager, who made the exchange much simpler and helped the experience be stress-free. All in all, our mattress buying venture was a very good experience!

Walking into this store I did not expect to leave with anything I was merely just browsing. Before even going in I knew I did not want to talk to a salesmen. I was greeted happily by Shannon, a very nice gentlemen who truly took his time to figure out what best suited our needs. Considering this was my first time purchasing a mattress I was worried I was going to get pushed in to the most expensive mattress, this was not the case. When Shannon saw how difficult my fiancé and I were Mike came over to continue helping find our dream mattress. Mike was truly knowledgeable and clearly very experienced. Every time we tried a mattress, there was just one thing missing, and for every single issue he had a resolution. I was truly impressed with how easy he made this process. I urge anyone looking for a great mattress to look up the Niagara Falls boulevard location and ask for Mike, you will not regret it.

I’m updating this review after 3 weeks of going back and forth with management. If you decide to go with Metro, be careful of the following:1 - Their mattresses have an option of returning them, however Metro does not accept returns. So when they say that you can return the mattress, just know it’s SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult than they say, and entails reaching out to the manufacturer. Metro Mattress WILL NOT TELL YOU THIS.2 - Some mattresses contain a gel that is frozen during delivery. Apparently this means that if the mattress has to bend AT ALL during delivery, they will not bring it into your bedroom. In our case, the delivery men left the king-size mattress in our living room, telling us that WE had to get it upstairs into our bedroom OURSELVES. They made no offer to come back and move it in at another time. Why Metro doesn’t make sure mattresses are “unfrozen” before delivery, I have no idea. Why doesn’t the salesman tell you this when getting delivery set up? Again, no idea.By the way, this is after they damaged our ceiling and bathroom tile bringing the adjustable base in.And not to mention, they had already removed our old bed, so unless we got the mattress into our bedroom ourselves, we would had to have slept on the floor. It’s a good thing we are not elderly or disabled...3 - Metro Mattress, while polite, WILL NOT help you resolve any of these issues if they happen to you. Mike from the store offered to give us “free pillows” for our trouble.The regional higher up, Dakota Herbin, told me that Metro isn’t responsible for any of these problems, and again, offered “free pillows”.Oh and they did offer to have a repairman come assess the damage, but they offered it as if it was a perk and something beyond what should just be done in the first place.To summarize, just be careful. And DO NOT expect Metro Mattress to do the right thing.Update:Below is my former 5-star review, posted after purchasing my mattress, but before it was delivered. The next day when I received the mattress, my experience was truly terrible. I’m awaiting Metro Mattress’ response to our complaints, and will update this review again after they do.“Great experience, Mike our salesman was really helpful.”

John really knows his craft, he knows what positions to sleep best in, the right mattress to buy, the longevity of it all and he’s a really a great and humorous salesman. He won’t leave you alone until the job is done, he won’t take no for an answer. Which is helpful because some people are indecisive like myself. This is our second time purchasing a mattress at Meyro mattress. We went back for their great customer service and there great effort to get u the best mattress for the money ur willing to spend. And they have great selections too. From my sister wanting medium firm...to my selection very firm matress they have everything we need. They even gave us free delivery !. I’ve been putting off and neglecting to purchase a better quality mattress for some time now. Overall I believe that because of this I’ve done more Damage than good to my body. I was in a car accident and suffered injuries, Which includes herniated disks in my lower neck region. Came here with my father earlier today in search of a new mattress.Our salesmen, an older gentlemen John was very aggressive and rude. At first, he was very helpful and informative but when told we were going to need more time to think about it as it was rather expensive, his true colors showed and he became very hostile and rude. He accused me and my father of using him, and complaining that we were going to buy the mattress online (which he had no possible way of knowing unless he was a psychic) and wasted him time. I will most likely buy the mattress from another carrier as this man does not deserve my business.
