I have been coming to this Value for about 10 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is always my first stop for basic home care and garden items.

A smaller size store with enough of everything to cover almost any project. knowledgeable staff and enough staff to answer questions and give proper advice to properly fix it. as close to a one stop shopping as you can get .I go often.

Back in Fort 3 times still have to return a plastic pipe 4 the sink, that day bad information.

The employee I dealt with yesterday was unacceptably rude and have little knowledge of their stock. I asked for roach traps. She (Tara) half chuckled and said theres no such thing as a roach TRAP. Then called to have another employee come over for i dont know what reason as we walked right to them. She said its a motel. On the packaging it says trap. Why the attitude? Ive had similar run- ins with other employees there in the past. I rarely shop there as per the rudeness. They used to be helpful and pleasant some yrs ago....but not this group. There may be a decent employee there; but if so I wouldnt work with the snotty ones if I were them. And...is I was manager, she wouldve been suspended till upper management could be alerted or just fire her. Theres not one reason for her to be so uppity. Then called me by a name other than mine. But I also saw on the receipt that whoever entered my name into the computer cant spell thus being incorrect as she used it when she spoke to me. I assumed shed said it incorrectly so as to add to her unacceptable attitude. I wont shop there again.

Lots of stuff youll need for home and work. And really good prices. Definitely include this stop if youre doing any home repairs or home decor. As well as anything you may need to take care of your lawn. You may be surprised to see what they have and at what prices.

Not a big box DIY store but the best thing around for quick repairs. Good paint selection, and all the common parts that often need repairs. Need a couple of screws they have a good screw department, broke your hose repair it. Need a paint brush for a small project, perfect. No they do not carry as much as the big box stores but the employees are knowledgeable and available. You wont spend an hour looking for what you need because someone will help you find what you are looking for long before that.

Their customer service is exceptionally knowledgeable! They offered recommendations on paint selections and mixed a gallon of the desired color choice. They are very polite, respectful and patient while helping out. Great store,a pleasure to shop there!

Always go to Valu for quick and easy shopping. Unless youre looking for a specialty product they almost always have the standard hardware items. Prices can sometimes be a bit higher than the big box stores but the convenience makes up for that. No hassle parking, friendly helpful staff. In and out in a flash.

I finally had enough. Ive gone to this store only because its close, Ive been there about 8 times and no joke 6 times I didnt get anything because they didnt have it. Washer ball valve, edge cutter, my sized staples, clear coat for my stairs, edging paint brush, and I forgot the last one but you look over and they have tennis balls,paper plates,snowboards Haha Im done. Home depot is the place to go.

Its ok for a quick visit. Only a few of the staff are helpful...those few are top notch. Most walk past you and shoot the breeze with the unfriendly manager(s) at their desk without regard to helping make a sale.

This is one of those places where you get the most boring but most necessary things for you house...light bulbs, electrical cords, flash lights, Sauder cabinets (you know...the ones you get to put together yourself) and other sundry items.Not the most fun shopping trip but necessary. Go...take care of those things and cross them off your to do list.

Warm and welcoming coming staff. Most items are in-stock and organized. However, they are placing too many items near the end caps which makes the floor space cluttered and difficult to navigate.

Fantastic experience. I came in to get a washer for a leaking faucet and left with the correct parts and more knowledge about the faucet. A gentleman who used to be a millwright helped me- he’s a very valuable asset to Valu. He made sure I had exactly the right parts and diagnosed the problem. I avoided calling a plumber and fixed the leak. You can’t get service like this at HD or Lowe’s.

Friendly, helpful staff that seem to never have a bad day. They will help you find what you need and even talk you through your project to make sure you know what you are getting into. I once went in to buy paint for my cement basement walls and was asked about moisture in the basement. We discussed ways to combat it and I walked out with the stuff I needed to waterproof my basement. He talked me through each step, showed me what I needed, and told me to come back if I head any questions. When I told him I didnt know if I could take that on as a project, he said thats ok because he knows I can do it! My basement has been dry for 5 years now, and I still shop Valu regularly! Had I just brought the paint, it would be peeling and look horrible by now! So glad I listened when he said I could do this!

Horrible lack of service. I stood there for almost five minutes waiting for someone to assist me with selection of the right replacement string for my Ryobi lawn trimmer. I finally walked out in disgust. My money spends good elsewhere.
