Great company. Extremely helpful with the q&a that comes with owning, which makes owning easy. Tom waters is knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. My advice. Don’t think if it as buying a pool or hot tub; think of it as owning relaxation at your disposal. Nothing is better than an early morning or late evening soak in the hot tub. Pool in summer makes you not feel the need to go on vacation. Also, nice guy named Brandon is in store on occasion. Pretty cool and helpful as well 😃

We went in the beginning of July to purchase our first “real” pool, after having a few of the ones you put up yourself. Tom Waters helped us decide which pool was the beat for our needs, while keeping our budget in mind. We had some issues with installing, and Tom worked with us to help get it completed properly. He was amazing. He checked in repeatedly to see how things were progressing and even took matters into his own hands to help us. We can’t say enough about how helpful, kind, friendly and just all around great Tom is. We won’t go anywhere else for anything we need for the pool or the backyard besides pool mart. While searching for the type of pool that would fit my landscape, I may have gone to every pool store in WNY to learn about the options that were available. When I initially went to Pool Mart, it was another location. The salesman was very rude and seemed like he was just not going to sell me a pool. After searching around I decided that I really wanted the pool that Pool Mart sold. It was then when i decided to call the Tonawanda location. I was greeted by Tom who is wonderful!! He told me the pros and cons of the pools that i had on my list, and within an hour, I purchased a pool with Tom over the phone! I never had a pool and had absolutely no idea what i was doing. I must have called 5 times and Tom was so helpful! He promised me that he would help and guide Me through this learning experience. Privately owned businesses are hard to run these days, and as a business owner myself, an employee such as Tom is extremely hard to come by these days. His customer service skills are old school; honest, helpful; knowledgeable, friendly. I now have an awesome pool, that i was able to have installed his year! Thank you Tom!!!

I highly recommend going to see Tom Waters at Pool Mart in Tonawanda. He was so helpful in finding me the right above ground pool. I really had no idea what I wanted. He was very patient with me and went through all the options. I eventually settled on a 24 foot above ground pool. Tom was also so knowledgeable with everything else I would need that came along with installing an above ground pool. I was so pleased with Tom and Pool Mart! Since then everyone has been so helpful with everything when I call with questions. I met Tom at the Orchard Park store several years ago when I went in with my family and ask him to convince me why we did not need a pool. Tom was very honest and helpful. 2 days later I was back and purchased a pool. He did a great job and the number one reason I bought from him was his customer service. When I walked in the second time and every time since, Tom always greets me by my first name. What a great experience. Now that he has moved to the Tonawanda location I will definitely be going there when we need another pool.

I bought my pool last year from pool mart. I had a few issues after a separate company installed it. Tom waters (a manager@ pool mart) did not need to step in and correct any of the installers work but instead he went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I truly mean above and beyond! Tom has earned my trust and business. I highly recommend pool mart for their helpful, knowledgeable staff and competitive prices.

Its refreshing walking into a store and being greeted by friendly and knowledgeable people. Tom and his crew have the new location running like clockwork. We come here for all of our pool needs. What I like the best is that theyll test my water and tell me exactly what I need to fix the water issues. This is a great store to take care of all your pool and patio needs.

Theres no other place Id choose to go for my Pool or Spa chemicals than Pool Mart. A helpful staff that is knowledgeable and will always be willing to work through green openings and keeping the pool clear the whole summer. Family owned and the personal down to earth touch where I dont feel like Im being talked down to. Highly recommend Simple Clean to keep the pool clear all year. 5/5

The reason we went here was simple, out of all the places that had request information here Tom Waters was the only one that responded instantly and kept corresponding! We walked into a beautiful store with masked employees that were all so cheerful. The only thing we knew was we wanted a pool, Tom talked us through many styles. He never once gave us a hard sell on anything, he was knowledgeable and made sure we got the pool that suited ALL our needs. He gave us all the information for all the other details, installation, electric, chemicals etc. He was just great and spent at least an hour with us ! We left with our reasonably priced pool package designed for exactly our needs . Tom Waters was the best ask for him but I have a feeling all the employees are great.p.s. note to businesses, answer those emails ... we are glad he did !

I went with a friend to get a quote on a new pool. Tom, the manager, was incredibly helpful, patiently going over all the choices with pros & cons for each option. The other staff at the store appeared knowledgeable and friendly while dealing with their customers. Great team & very reasonably priced products!

Im from Orchard Park and have dealt with Tom when he was at the OP store, for years. Hes always friendly and knowledgeable... But he has moved to the Tonawanda store now. ☹️. I still call him and get advice. If you are in the Tonawanda area be sure to call pool mart and ask for him.

As a first-time pool buyer, I called Tom from Pool Mart with a list of questions. He patiently walked me through the process so I could feel confident in my purchase and ready to orchestrate the needed tasks to have the pool installed (providing recommendations for electrical work and installation, coordinating delivery, including the bonding kit for my permit, etc.). I feel like the customer service was stellar, especially given the quarantine restrictions, and I look forward to decades of seasonal enjoyment of my new above ground pool. When we are ready for a jacuzzi, I will be back!

We live literally around the corner from the southwestern blvd. Location but when we found out Tom has moved to this location we followed. Tom has always been great to us whenever we have questions he is always there to help and trust me we have called him many times with a lot of questions. Into our 3rd pool over the years. Always at Pool Mart. The manager here, Roger Pleasant, is really great and very knowledgeable. Had trouble with the vacuum...he gave me tips to make it so much easier. Had trouble with the skimmer flap...same thing. Gave my husband ideas on different couplings to attach to the end of the hoses. Opening and closing the pool is now a breeze. Be sure to ask for him. Mary Ann

I, Mr. C am writing a review based on my personal experiences and dealings with Roger and Pool Mart particularly the store located in Tonawanda. I will inform you I had no connections to Roger or Pool Mart before purchasing my pool even though now I can say I have made friends with Roger and the staff there. Originally my family and I considered purchasing an in ground pool. That idea was passed immediately as the inflated quotes started to come in. I wasn’t going to buy a home on a little island for the owner of the in ground pool company (what are they thinking?). Moving forward, my wife and I took a trip to Pool Mart Tonawanda to inquire about an above ground pool. Our first contact was Roger who greeted us in the pool display yard located at the business. We gave him an overview of what we were considering for this pool project. Roger is a true pool professional and a wealth of knowledge in his field of work. He was patient and informative as we bombarded him with a grocery size list of questions. He truly had the answers through our entire project even down to the smallest nut and bolt on the pool filter. Roger was spot on explaining the entire process from start to finish. I will state my pool project started and completed without any issues just as Roger said it would. We are completely 100% satisfied with our pool quality and the work that was performed during installation. In summation I will tell you if you are looking to purchase a pool and don’t want to buy the owner of an in ground pool company his/her house on a little private island the stop by Pool Mart, Tonawanda and ask for Roger. I highly recommend you go see Roger at Pool Mart on Sheridan in Tonawanda. I purchased my home at the end of the summer 2 years ago. I began using Leslies Pool Supplies on Sheridan and ended up spending a lot of money on bad information (I didnt know that at the time). Last summer I continued to use Leslies and became more and more unsatisfied. I was barely able to use my pool my last summer based on what Leslies told me to do.This year I decided to try a new pool store (overdue, I know!). I decided on Pool Mart and from Day 1, I could not be happier. They recommended I switch to Simple Blue and let me know it would be a bit more expensive than other options but clearly explained the benefits. I went with Simple Blue and my pool has never looked so great. I barely have to do anything but put the weekly chemicals in and skim. Gone are the days of spending every weekend in line at Leslies to spend hundreds of dollars on more items that still leave my pool looking dank.Thanks to Roger, Pool Mart and Simple Blue my pool has been crystal clear all summer and with very little effort on my part. And yes, Simple Blue has been a bit more expensive up front but I end up needing far less than before and am actually saving money!Roger has been awesome to work with, but so has his crew. Ive witnessed him coach his crew on helping customers and I have had great experiences with every member Ive worked with at this location.Pool Mart has gained a lifetime customer!

I purchased my pool a few years ago and a few days ago my motor to the filter died. I called ahead and did speak with manager about my problem. Once i arrived i spoke with the manager who did sell me a used motor which works well and the manager did take the time to show me step by step on how to take everything myself which did save me money and threw in some plumbing tape to further help me out. I truly do appreciate you and everything worked out well. Thanks guys at Pool Mart

Pool Mart employees have extensive knowledge, and take the time to explain different filtration and chemical systems (sometimes multiple times!). This is my first year opening a pool, and they have provided guidance through the whole process. We went from a sludgy, leaf filled mess to a clean and clear pool, couldnt have done it without their help!

I bought a pool in 2016. When opening my pool in May of 2017 I realized there was rust forming on bottom of several post called and notified them and confirmed it was warrantied many calls later it is now Sept. 2017 they have yet to provide me with new ones after stringing me along they said they will not receive anymore pillars this year. 9/5 Have been contacted by pool Mart and problem should be radified this week. Problem has been radified
