Went there today they had some large snails in their tanks out front in the store I watch the tank everything looked healthy the snails were working on the glass and rock work I asked the woman the price she told me 3/$15. I looked around the rest of the tanks and told her I would like 3 she went to the backroom and brought out 3 smaller ones that were in their shells I couldn’t tell if they were alive or not I said I would like the ones from the sales floor tanks that I was watching. Everything else in these tanks were for sale. She told me no those were HERS and I had to take the ones from the back. Needless to say I left without purchasing anything and felt this was a case of bait and switch. Beware dealing here. One other time I wanted to buy a pair of seahorses she had a tank full but she told me I would have to take 2 females because she didn’t want to sell males because they may be pregnant. And her prices are by no means cheap. Shop here with caution my friends

Great place for all youre needs! Such nice and knowledgeable owners! Healthy livestock, great products, great pricing and they have the Cleanest RODI and salt water around.

Ive been going there for years. Joe and his wife are friendly, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to make sure I succeeded in the Hobby. Their prices are reasonable, and they will not upsell you, or sell you something that will not work out for you. Just really nice people. They enjoy their shop, and enjoy their customers. That is obvious in the way they treat customers. I feel more like a friend than a customer. In todays world where the bottom line is paramount for so many businesses, it feels good to be able to patronize a business like this.

Without question my favorite shop locally, Joe and Annette are amazing owners and always willing to talk the hobby and share stories, advice and knowledge. Theyve helped me build my tank since day one and never steered me wrong on a coral or fish. Beautiful corals and livestock constantly. I cannot say enough about this shop, other than get in there!

So far the best place I have found for saltwater tanks. They helped me get all the info I needed to start my first saltwater tank and so far it has been up for 4months now with no issues thanks to the info he gave me.

Went here for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! Helpful staff and great selections.

Joe is a legend in WNY reefkeeping. The shop is a bit rough around the edges at times as he runs it basically alone, yet he manages to have probably the 2nd largest selection of coral in WNY. He is also EXTREMELY reasonable with pricing.

This is the only place I will go for my saltwater needs. I have gotten everything from them and have never had a problem. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dont listen to wincey luu. She obviously doesnt know how to keep a saltwater tank. This place is the best saltwater store around! A++ bought 2 clowns, sixline wrasse, live rock, snails, crabs and 3 corals from them all doing fine 4 months later and tank looks great. Thanks Joe and Annette!

Just like any WNY Fish store: WE DO NOT GUARANTEE LIVE GOODS . I do not ship out anything to Canada or to the US . For you to be able to purchase,stuff you must come to my store and get the corals & fishThe customer Personally hand picks the coral . By doing so, they inspect it to make sure that they are healthy and strong .Once they have decided on the the pieces that they personally handpicked we bag it up and sell it to them . We make sure that it is healthy and strong, we will not sell it to them nor leave my store if it is not .so basically she knew there where no guarantees, she knew they were healthy cause she was the one who picked them - She examined the pieces 360 degrees inch by inch . I was holding the pieces and would turn them side by side when she asked me to. She knew the 2 pieces were healthy upon purchasing them ..Now for your trade in, the tube anemone is still in my store . She bought it in Canada and traded it in to me cause she did not like the color which is brown . I paid her for it, 50 % trade in value so now it it is my property . She said that it was bright orange, then how come it is still sitting in my store and no one has purchased it . You could have purchased your tube anemone again for $40.00 but you did not want to .The day she bought the corals and traded in the anemone, she also returned a used pump which my husband sold her really cheap, she said it was not working, gave her a full refund which was $27.00 . When she left we plugged it in working like a champ . We even gave you $ 10.00 off the 2 corals you bought that day, another $20.00 for your trade in . You got $57.00 off that day . You were so happy because the regular price would have cost you $130.00 plus tax . But you left leaving the store paying Just $65.00, and your 2 corals that you personally hand picked while you where there. When you got to Canada you even called us to let us know they made it and that they were okay .The reference about the disease in your tank is for the fish tank . The fish that died had Nothing to do with us. You never bought fish except for 2 cleaner wrasses . You told us you had 2 tanks. You personally told me that day all the fish in your tank died because of Ick I suggested that maybe it had a disease . You have a separate tank for your corals . It is a 125 gallon .did she tell you too that every time she came in she expected us to give her a discount . She haggled for every price that was listed for . to be nice we would give her something off to make her happy.You said you like shopping at the other place, please feel free . cause now you have a permanent place to shop at and it is definitely not at mine . .
