Oh my goodness! We had a great time here the other day. There was a great selection of equipment and clothing. I felt bad because my 4yo was throwing a fit but sam came over and calmed him right down by playing a game. She was so bubbly and fun and knew exactly what to do. She helped us find everything we needed and somehow knew what shoes I had in mind, even though I wasnt sure what I really wanted. She came out with something that is totally me. I will definitely be coming back, so many fun things and friendly people!! 😃

Good selection of sports equipment, handguns and rifles with accessories but no ammunition. They also quit carrying blow guns a little over a year ago, this is very disappointing. But other than that good service fair prices very clean and all maintained.

Very small store with a poor selection along with terrible customer service. One young man who works in the shoe department has been very rude and unhelpful on two occasions. I dont even think about shopping here!

How much longer can Big 5 stay in business? Their sales are always about what you would pay anyway. And since they stopped carrying real guns and ammo are they really a Sporting Goods Store?

My sister has gone into this store twice to get shoes for her little boy and been treated horribly. Your costumer service is horrible. Your people are rude. And you need to treat people with more respect. She is a single mom trying to do her best. I will not be shopping here again. No one should be treated in this manner ever.

Go during the shoe sale and get great deals! 2 pairs of soccer cleats, and 2 other pairs of shoes was only around $100. And they were good quality shoes.

Oh boy, I loved all of the items they had for sale but they were so expensive, that I couldnt buy everything I wanted. Also the dressing rooms are closed due to covid-19 so I wasnt allowed to try on my baseball pants before we bought them. That is the only downside, so thats why I gave it a three-star review.

We are a family that loves the great outdoors! We love fishing, camping and rock hounding to name a few things we love. Anyone that spends a lot of time outdoors should be prepared for any situation. Big 5 Sporting Goods is a great place to get everything you need for an emergency kit. Not just bandaides & ointment. You should also have items to protect you from bad weather, snake bites, etc. That is why I was in Big 5 Sporting goods, to make sure all three of my boys (men) have a great emergency kit to take with them where ever they go. It is also a great thing to have in your car. What next of the most important thing items everyone should have is a way to make any source of water safe to drink. You cant live without water, but you can go days without food! That said, some freeze dried food is also a good idea...and a way to heat it would be nice.I hope you will take time to visit a Big 5 Sporting Store near you.

Things are name brand, so often more expensive. My item rang up at the wrong price but they quickly fixed the error. Good customer service.

Big 5 has a great selection for a small town sporting goods store. It probably wouldnt meet the expectations of people used to large or specialty sporting good stores, but we are grateful to have its selection of many options across all typical hometown sports and sporting events.

I went here looking for specific shoes, water shoes. I found them and even before they were brought to the sales floor. They just received their first shipment and they kindly checked in the back and brought out all the water shoes they received so that I could go through it to find what I needed. That was great, but I also noticed that they carry regular shoes and at a very decent price. Ill be coming here to get my shoes from now on.

Worst customer service ever!!! We will never be going back. Id rather go to Sheels and pay out the nose for their expensive fish tank and taxidermy.My wife forgot her coupon and they refused to give it to her. She asked to use their wifi and they offered to go in the back to check and never came back. She asked about items and the answer was it looks like we dont have that but they really didnt know what they were talking about because another associate had the item. Why not just say that you dont know??? Why lie???Meanwhile, I nodded at the cashier who ignored me as I walked in. I walked straight to the guns and ammo with intent to buy cases of 5.56 and 9mm. No one asked to help. It looked to me they were helping my wife, so I patiently waited for a half hour for someone to come by. We were the only ones in the store, but they just kept walking past without saying anything. I debated asking for help but they seemed to be pointedly ignoring me so I quietly left.My wife bought the two cheapest things on her list and followed me out.Good job Big 5. With a little smile and ask to help and I wouldve spent hundreds of dollars on ammo. With a little help to get your coupon for my wife and she surely wouldve spent at least $100 to get the 20% off. We have big plans for emergency preparedness and we will be buying the stuff elsewhere. Even with all this if youd been polite and honest I wouldnt feel so passionate to post this immediately upon returning home.

This is a small location with limited merchandise, but the staff is always friendly and helpful. The clothing section is pretty cramped so its not the most exciting experience looking for athletic clothes.
