I have been going to Game Haven for now over I believe 6 years. It has always been a beacon for tabletop game lovers among my friends and family. There is always something new and interesting going on. I also appreciate the staff who work there as they are experts on everything they sell, and love what they do. I will always recommend Game Haven not just because it is my personal favorite game store in the northern half of Utah. But it is a genuinely awesome place to buy and play a wide variety of games.

All around a great place. The employees are nice and friendly. Great selecting of books for both dnd and pathfinder. Amazing selection of dice and other little accessories. And finally a great selection of miniatures and boardgames. All around a great place.

Love the staff there and its a none judgy place at least from when I go there and its always full of energy

Have Been Going To A D&D Campaign There For 4 Weeks Now Its Great!

Participated in a MTG event for the first time. Staff was friendly and helpful. And other participants were welcoming. Had a great time and will definitely do it again.

I love that Tooele has a board game store in town. Staff is helpful and helped me find a game for my young nephew. Always worth asking for recommendations. Great store.

Absolutely the best game and card store in Utah. Riley and Jake are outstanding and always take care of the customer. I have been in the shop quite a few times, this past week. Ever since getting my heart back into Pokemon and Yugioh this has been my go to shop. The prices here are amazing and they are completely fair on price and even sell a little below TCG to take care of the loyal customers. You guys have a new customer for life. And I would to get into MTG and come join the fun. As a fellow local business owner, thank you for the amazing service.

Went in today guy on the bigger side was so rude not only that he was to busy talking to his friend and playing cards and was just completely arrogant the manager or owner not sure who is super nice and gives off good vibes but the other guy really needs to get a coaching on customer service and on professionalism

This place don’t deserve a star at all. Do you read Newton Road they did the math wrong I showed him how they were doing it and they still said it was wrong and $60 each and they were gonna give me 40 for all seven of them so I don’t know how you get 40 out of 60 when there math was completely wrong.

Great local game store! Owner is friendly, and the big canine manager is a sweetheart. They have a great selection of unpainted miniatures, and are actually the only game store in Tooele/Salt Lake that had the warhammer codex I needed for a gift. Glad they are nearby so I dont have to go into Salt Lake for gaming supplies.

Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, YuGiOh, Force of Will, Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer, and a vast selection of family friendly board games! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help. I have been going to this store for years and never once had a negative experience. Amazing staff. This is a really great store that has something for the whole family.I forgot a few things at their store and when I returned a 4 months later they returned the items to me as soon as I walked away in. I’m a life long costumer now.

Wide selection of D&D minis and books. Lots of Magic cards and dice. Plenty of board games and places to play. The staff of always super friendly, and, if youre lucky, so is the 🐕.

Game Haven has knowledgeable and friendly staff that are happy to help you find the game or gaming products you are looking for. I much prefer them to the larger game shops in Salt Lake. The store is clean and well organized. The selection is impressive especially given the relatively small size of the store. To the best of my knowledge there is no finer game store in Utah south of Bountiful or north of Cedar City.

Great for hardcore gamers, and for regular folks looking for fun board games too.Lots of tables for gaming in the back. There are many many board games open and available to just crack open and play in-store for free. This is a good way to see if youre going to like a certain game.Staff is always top notch: they know a lot, and are very friendly. Im definitely a return customer.

I’m torn writing this review.  On the one hand it has a great selection of games (including wallet-busting amount of clearance opportunities), nice staff that isn’t too pushy, and a really nice layout/atmosphere.  On the other, I kind of want to keep this place a secret so I can grab all of the half off games whenever I’m in town.

Good game store, nice selection of merchandise... staff seemed a bit preoccupied playing a game and a little put out to ring up my purchase. Bought some fun games!!!

Finally! A store for us nerds!!!! Seriously though, its a nice place to pick up tabletop games. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Especially like the fact that if you cant find what you are looking for, they will order in whatever you want. Its also a great place to network with you similarly empassioned people. They have game nights most nights of the week and you dont even have to know how to play. Also a Great place for Dungeons and Dragons or Magic the Gathering meetings. Again, theyll teach you how to play if you are interested.

This place is awesome! Me and my wife went here for Friday night magic and we had a ton of fun. I bought 2 magic decks and then played in the tournament. We lost every game but at the end of the tournament they drew a random raffle winner and my wife won.

It was an amazing experience! I just got back from a new expansion tournament! The staff were amazing and very friendly! A great first experience for a begginner mtg player.

A great place to go. Has a very vast variety of card games, boards games, miniature games, game mats and card protectors. The people who keep the place going are very kind and are always ready to help you find something. My first experience there was when I first got into yu-gi-oh and made my deck from cars there. I have tried to go back every Saturday for their tournaments, which are also held throughout the week.

Went there today to purchase some Warhammer 40K miniatures (a good sized collection and with a healthy amount of variation) and the staff there was super friendly. We started talking about the game and he showed me the models he was working on. Would come here again with no hesitation

Its the only geek store in Tooele. Its small, and not as great as the nerd store, but they have great prices and lots of games.

Game Haven of Forest City, NC sold my underage child a mature game and didnt check his ID. I know some of you will blame my child, children will do things behind their parents backs. Thats why I try to stay a step ahead, but in this case I was 2 hours behind. I called the store and talked to the manager on duty, and he acted like it was no big deal. Well, it is a big deal. It was illegal, for one. I wasnt ready for said child to have that game in my home with younger siblings. I understand that GTA4 has sex scenes, explicit language, violence, cop killing, drugs. These are things that I am not ready to expose my children to in our home. This is a big deal, because we are a small town. Ten people can say something nice about your business, but one negative comment is a game changer. I will tell every parent I encounter about this situation, I will call the authorities to see what my options are. I tried to talk to the company, but I wasnt taken seriously. This is serious to me, and just wanted to warn other parents. If my child did, how did said child know he could? How many other children will he tell, and how many of these will try?

I have been visiting this store since March 2013. The store owner is a great guy who always greets you as you come in. Store is clean and friendly environment great for playing trading card games and board games. I have been giving my business to this store for over 2 years now and plan to keep giving them it as long as they are here.

The magic community is awesome, really all the card communities are expected yugioh. The yugioh are nasty scumbags so stay away from the yugioh community at all cost, plus magic is so fun.

Great store great staff great prices wonderful environment

I shop at the Tooele store, I love board games and so this is my kind of store. I have had good experiences in the past where I have asked for help finding a game and they have been super helpful and cheerful in the process. However, I went today and the guy at the counter was not helpful AT ALL. I can understand if he doesnt know much about some of the games, but he had absolutely no recommendations at all. He was too enthralled in his Pokémon or magic cards and talking to his friend to even bother to be of any help. He couldve at least tried to look up ideas on the internet or something!!! I asked twice for help and my daughter asked once. Then when it was time to check out at the counter, I had to ask him to help us even though he was sitting only a few feet away! Very sad and disappointed today. :(
