I saw their listing for a 2020 Honda Grom online and requested a quote. I got an email from Mike with the price quote which was very fair when compared to the tons of other Groms I recently looked at. We went in the next day and were greeted without any pressure to buy. The price was as quoted and there were no hidden fees. He let me test ride it and I ended up buying it. They also had the clutch cover gaskets for the Grom in stock so I picked a few up while I was there. This is our second Grom and it is in great condition. Overall the process was fast, easy, and Mike was super helpful and friendly.

Bought a 2020 Kawasaki Vulcan S ABS from them. I got a great motorcycle, great price and great service. The paper work went quickly and they had the bike serviced and ready to go by the next day. The bike has Ergo fit handle bars, foot pegs and seat to customize it to your body. They ordered the parts at no charge to me. The bike looks great, rides great and has more power than I could ask for. And it gets 56 mpg! The only down side is that they dont permit test rides; but when I got my bike it had 0 miles on it. I would definately buy another bike from them.

Holy crappy service $626.53 to clean a carb replace a plug wire and rebuild a water pump on a 05 crf 450 finally had a chance to ride it and the water pump leaks, backfires and started only by pulling it. your better off buying the parts on line and you tubing the job and doing it yourself.what happened to Honesty and Integrity (NOT HERE PEOPLE) Mr Owner no need to try defending your team. Just Damn disappointed to have waited a long time to be able to ride my bike again and to find out all the work I had done was not correct.

I recently acquired a Victory V92 TC Deluxe. The previous owner always had it serviced by Topeka Powersports and said he never had any issues with them. Called them earlier in the week and got transferred to service where I had to leave a voicemail. Was a bit concerned after reading previous reviews but that has all changed for me now. I got a call back within a couple of hours and they scheduled my 20k service for Saturday morning at 9:00AM. Got in as promised and my bike was done in about 1/2 hour.I had asked the mechanic (Roy, I think?) to give it a good going over as Im planning a long trip and he did just that. We had a nice visit about my bike when he was done and he answered a couple of my questions knowledgeably. Bottom line, I am very pleased with their service and will go back.As a footnote, while I was waiting for the work to be done, their parts guy saw me looking at the gear on display and came over to show me a new, modular helmet they just got in. He was not pushy while he showed me its features, the best of which being a red light in the back that can be linked to your brake lights. I told him Id just recently purchased a new helmet and he simply said I should remember this one when I was in the market again - and I will.

I went there to buy a brand new Honda motorcycle and was treated like I couldn’t afford what I was looking at. They wouldn’t even let me test drive. Went to Shawnee cycle plaza and ended up buying the same bike(for a better price), plus an ATV. Powersports has a pretty poor reputation for customer service if you ask around town. Just read the owners comments on here and you’ll get a taste of how they operate. His comments are laughable and are what prompted me to leave my honest review.

Not sure what to write here...i have no idea how good or bad they really are. I went in took look at bikes and get parts for my current bike. Walked around for 10-15 minutes, walked up to the parts counter, there was a girl on her cell phone...she didnt even acknowledge me. The guy on the floor walked outside, never saw him again...so i left. If you want to look at bikes, its a great place...if you want to buy one or buy parts, good luck. Nice looking store though.

Ive visited this place one too many times. The first time I visited, I was 19 and just had a little over $10,000 to purchase a motorcycle... I wandered around aimlessly in their warehouse of a store and nobody would help me. That mightve been my fault, I probably looked poor - after all I was a 19 year old mexican kid.I drove to KC to purchase a bike. The 2nd time was after becoming more proficient to purchase a dual sport bike. I had a similar experience. Nobody helped me. I made eye contact with somebody but even though I had the desperate help me look, he continued to his office without even saying a word. Oh well. That wasnt going to stop me from getting a bike somewhere else. The final straw was when I went to their location across the street that sells gear. I went in to browse around and get some information on tires - that is until it was obvious I shouldve done more research (even though that was the reason I was there). Very short answers. Not very helpful. He did walk out with me to look at my bike after I asked if he would give me some opinions on tires, but only after he made a mildly condescending comment about the state of my motorcycle.I am very forgiving when it comes to customer service - people, customers and employees, can have off days.At Topeka Powersports, I truly feel like nobody here gives a s*** about anything other than the dollar. Which is the point of a business... All businesses have the goal of making money. Its just that other businesses will actually help you in the process and wont make you feel like a idiot for not being an expert. The extent of their customer service or making it right is replying to customer complains on their FB page or on here with their cookie cutter we apologize response. Ive noticed nothing change in the store.

I love going in and talking to Rebecca at the parts counter! Very refreshing customer service, i feel that a lot of motorcycle shops these days have bad attitudes and dont seem to be interested in helping you, this is not the case here! I am Always called by my first name when i go in even after not going in for close to a year.... Hi Jeremiah! I remember you, what are you looking for today WOW is all i have to say. Then going above and beyond letting me size up old bearing with new ones to find the right size. The service side is great too! Have had numerous things done to my bikes there and they always come out great.....I will say wait times can be a bit high on service but it is always worth a small wait to get top notch service so dont let that stop you. Great job Topeka powersports!

My nearly 5 yo son and I went in there today around 11am - were there about 10-20 mins (not sure how long but it was def longer than 10 mins and probably shorter than 20 - my son was having fun sitting on various ATVs, lawn mowers and various equipment. Our intent was to buy 2 helmets for our new to us Honda ATV we purchased this week from a private individual, possibly some accessories with the intent down the road in a year or two to buy some additional toys IE UTV for myself and small ATV for my son as he gets older. I can tell you after being in there and seeing that we were never even acknowledged or said Hello to or Hi - Ill be with you in a few minutes etc Ill never go back and will not buy from from any location in the Powersports of KS umbrella. They have no idea my potential future value as a customer and lost me completely. If I need parts for my Honda Mower, Honda ATV etc Ill be buying from out of town (at a dealership not owned by them) even though they are just down the road from us. Blows my mind in todays day and age where you can buy things with the click of a button that they wouldnt understand the customer experience is important to their survival. I own a small business myself here and would be upset if my staff acted that way. Towards the end we saw a couple people in an office looking at us/our direction but neither made any attempt to say anything - maybe they thought theyd be wasting their time I dont know. But we did have to go to Manhattan today to visit a friend and completed our helmet purchase at a different dealership there and felt welcomed enough when the time comes to buy something for my son and Id like to upgrade to a sport UTV theyll be the first place Ill look my Honda loyalty aside....- the funny thing was when we walked in the Manhattan dealership they greeted us and acted like they wanted us there even though there were other customers in the store. Really simple concept - if anything hopefully the owner of this place educates his staff to not have such nonchalant attitudes or his/her business will be going out of business at some point soon enough.

I was just reading responses by the owner to some of the people who left comments. I think its unprofessional for you to act as if some of these people never went into your store. It also unprofessional to act as if these people are not telling the truth. Its also silly to expect people to walk in there and strike a deal with you without ever having ridden the motorcycle...you have more than one person commenting on this but you make them seem like liars yet you have no way of knowing when any of these people were in your store so how can you say you have no record of them being there? I went in this place with my husband to look at bikes over the summer and our issue was with the sales person...or lack of one. Also the parts person didnt seem to have a clue. Im sure you will go back and try to cover up some of your comments by changing them, but you have more 1 star reviews than 5 star reviews...they cant all be wrong.

After reading the smart ass responses from the owner to some of his customers I can see why this place gets so many 1 star ratings. Well here is another one. Wanna chuck a smart ass comment at me too? I read reviews to see who i am dealing with and what type of place it is. I decided to read reviews on your place because we just got our tax refunds and i thought this might be a good place to pick up a motorcycle as a gift for my husband, but if your responses are any indication as to how you treat dissatisfied customers, maybe we should shop somewhere else. I was always told that its easy to treat happy customers well, but its how you treat unhappy customers that shows what youre really made of. So, based on the owners comments...ALL of his one star reviews are based one person driving his scores down? Theres no less than 15 bad reviews and i looked at them, they are not the same person and some of them are months and months apart. AND not all of them are by people who give bad ratings to everybody. And in all honesty, many Google reviewer post reviews when they get bad service which would be why many many reviewers only have bad reviews listed...its to warm other customers. If they didnt have a complaint and everything was ok there would be no reason for a bad review. But hey...blame the customers and the reviewers...dont blame yourself, your business, your staff or anything else.

Absolutely disgusted with them. Ordered highway bar, pegs and saddle bags. They came in 4 days later....got the call at day 6, took bike in and was told the saddle bags I ordered needed to be changed because they werent carried any longer. They are the worst at customer service I have ever seen and dont even rate a single star. If you have any other options take them. You will be totally screwed over topeka powersports. Called 6 months ago about having my Honda Foreman worked on, they told me they would put me on a list because they were busy, and they would call in 2 weeks. Called them a month later, still could not get a time for work to be done, and even was implied the work was too time consuming and expensive, and they acted like they did not want to do the work. Hmmm?? Expensive? you would think they would want it right in to make money. Long story short, got tired of waiting to hear from them and did repairs ourselves, and were able to buy the parts needed elsewhere. Now it runs great. The repairs we needed done were a new first gear, and this was too hard for them apparently. Zero stars for a rating
