The guy knows his stuff. Very helpful with my IROC build. He has done 3 rebuilds for me with no issues other than it taking a while to get done. But I have always told them I wasnt in a rush.

Knowledgeable staff, and they do good work. The shop is what you would expect, a bit dirty and cluttered, but it is a machine shop.

I bought a ram 1500 from a local dealership got all the paperwork on a rebuild engine that was done at fiddler. Had a ticking in engine that worried me. Called Kevin fiddler and he had me bring the truck into him. He explained everything he was doing and done a great job.

I took my block in to be sleeved, change out rods- pistons.. when I got it back, it was installed and I ran it for an easy 2000 miles to break em in... took it all back out to turbo my set up.. took it to revline motors in kc where I planned on finishing my build at and when they took off the oil pan, there was a ridiculous amount of metal shavings in the pan (overtightened rod caps burnt all of my bearings and put score lines all in my crankshaft), all of my sleeves were all scored up ( didnt seat the piston rings properly), and they grinded on all of my H-beam rods for clearance ( supposed to grind on the block not the rods).. so when I went to revline to confirm this, it was very disturbing! I call fidlers machine shop back up to tell him what the issue was and he told me basically that I was lying and needed to bring the block back up to him (I live in kck).. so I pull the motor and get it up to him.. all he did to fix the issue was replace the bearings, hone out the sleeves (which didnt fix anything bc they couldnt hone enough of em without changing the specs) and micropolished the crank... said it was all ready to go.. me being me i took the block to a different machine shop so that i could get another set of eyes on it and go figure, the first thing the guy asked me was, u know youre not supposed to grind on the rods right? So fidler lied to me when I asked if he grinded on my rods for clearance.. all in all I paid fidlers over 1100 for services, had to take off of work to bring my block back up to him and had to pay to bore out my sleeves to make em right which means I had to buy new pistons as well and new skunk2 alpha series long rods.. I would never recommend this machine shop to do any performance builds..
