Our shopping was very good. They have some meats different our stores around. They had cashiers to check you out which I really like.

Employee owned, so why are their prices so outrageously high on EVERYTHING? Beats me! I cant afford to shop there. Great prepared food area, looks delicious, but so high priced, Ill never get to know if its any good or worth buying!! Their employees must make a high dollar salary!!

There is not much that HyVee doesnt have. The prices there are reasonable, especially given the high quality of the products and the environment.

Theres alot of things that are more expensive than their competitors. Although theres also more fresh, and organic products too if thats what youre into.

Lazy deli.... I travel for work. Somedays I get In later then I want. I appreciate the help from the one of the ladies. But the last three times have been less then desirable. Then tonight 3 Oct 21, I arrive at 720 pm. Deli is supposed to close at 8 pm. I asked the counter guy if he could cook up 8 chicken strips. He answered that it would take 30 minutes. I told him that it would be fine, Ill wait. He then turns and asks the other guy standing in front of the fryer that is still on, and asked him if he could cook eight tenders. The cook said he could not because the fryer was turned off.. (wink, wink)... Being this the fourth time incompetence has ruled, I will take my business to Dillons now... I am pretty sure that people there want my business. I currently have no plans of recommendations to this store. Good bye

I love HyVee in Topeka. It reminds me that there is at least 1 store here in Topeka that cares about their store, the employees, and their customers. They have what I am looking for every time and are always friendly. It is a great reminder of home.

Are you looking for a job? Dont look here. While Hy-vee tries to advertise that that are employee oriented, that is far from the truth. The value of the employee is nothing, as long as managers get their paycheck. Bad workers are praised, while good workers are told they are awful.If you have a teen looking for work, dont send them here.Also, prices are outrageous for such a run down store.

Why am I now JUST discovering this place? As a newbie to Topeka I went.in last.night on a whim! Loved it! Great prices! Staff very friendly. and genuinely friendly not the annoying fake friendly.

Wow! This grocery store is really well stocked! Friendly customer service and great prices!

Waited an hour and 15 for pickup. Only had one person working the aisles on line so our order sat in the sun (understaffing). Cold items getting warm. Ended up leaving and getting a refund without the order. This is consistent with Hy-Vee. Pick process is a hot mess. We are switching to 100% Dillions orders.

I went in at 6:45 am this morning to grab a few things. Ok, I really went for the store made protein balls the monster cookie ones they are delicious. I like the meat selection they always have good prices. Picked up some steaks. I also enjoy the health section the have such a wide variety of items whether you are doing keto or gluten free etc. I spent 15 minutes over there and found some new items to try. The store is always clean and clutter free.

People are helpfull however limitations on purchasing via coupons or advertisements are somewhat irritating as a person who wants a reasonable amount of sale items is unable to obtain it because people who abuse it have created a limit that I think is somewhat unreasonable prices are okay for regular items a little high

Expected to find a prepared, fresh salad. Instead, found leftovers from Chinese and American, in store kitchens. The pasta and bacon salad was dreadful. If I didnt live so far away Id have taken it back for a refund. Usually, Im very pleased with HyVee and their food. This trip was an unexpected bad experience.

Prefer shopping here over the wow mart because their employees actually care about their jobs and are very helpful. I go in late at night and get in and out in no time. Paige and Ryan are always there to greet you and help find what you need. Their sales are very competitive with other stores in town and usually better quality.

I love shopping here. Clean, helpful, and natural products galore and separate from the other foods.

First time in this store. Produce looked fresh, prices were good. Asked for help finding an item, sticker walked me right to the item. Too few checkers, but 2 lanes opened up while I was in line. Nice experience.

I love the store but I buy a lot of stuff from the health food section and more than once I have got home with expired products.

Store is always so pristine friendly staff and amazing produce. The meat counter has incomparable finds and quality bundles often better then the meat market. Though some prices are higher its well worth the sells and discounts you do find all the time.

They are no different from any other store. Although I do like their bakery so I think three stars are fair.

Easy to find what you are looking for but a bit pricy

CLEAN! If your tired of shopping in dusty dirty Dillons or Walmart, then Hy-Vee is the place for you. This place is always clean, fresh, well stocked, and shopper friendly design.

Its getting easier. Kind of a challenge to learn/find some of the healthy foods. Other than that, good prices, and if you like cash back, or use rewards systems, HyVee should definitely be on your list!!

Hy-Vee has a wonderful parking lot to wait in your car as someone goes and grabs something from inside.

Regarding the meal-time: the Fruit and cheesecake with whipped cream are good. The salad was green. However, my sushi avocado was brown and the sweet and sour chicken was dense/heavy.As far as the online grocery ordering: They cut corners sometimes to give u cheap almost out of date items while still charging full price. An example of this is a brownish salad that was normally $8 would have a $2 sticker on it and they would still charge the $8.

Found everything I havent or couldnt find in Walmart or Dillions. The staff and customers are very friendly.

I went this morning and found expired products on the shelf.Two drinks, both over 3 months expired. I took one to customer service and was told sorry, but not much more. I went back as I wanted to find a different one when an employee without a name badge approached me. I explained that the drinks were expired and that it isnt really okay that they have been sitting there since February. She apologized, I told her that shes the second to say that, and then she snapped on me.This unnamed employee went on a rant about how no one wants to work, and that theres one person per department, therefore theyre all overworked.Dont you think it says more about a company that no one wants to work for more than anything? Can you really say no one wants to work if the company isnt trying? If youre tired and overworked, its on you to take a break and get away. Needless to say, I wont be going back. If employees are so tired that theyre taking it out on customers, the company needs to take a good hard look at what theyre doing wrong. This isnt to say the employee themselves are in the wrong, but youd think Hy-Vee would try harder.

I like how Its arranged .. and the size of the store .. the workers are usually kind

Went early on a Sunday morning. Of the five things on my list they only had one item and it wasnt priced. Went to check out and there was one lane open with 6 people in line. I sat my basket down and left. Its a nice store but for the prices they charge Id expect much better service.

Odd limbo land of wishy-washy mask policy, unoutstanding app/in-store discrepancy, oversized in-house Hy-Vee insurance TV screens and over-the-top messaging everywhere with nobody to talk to you about it when pressed. Also they dont carry kosher matzo? So odd this experience.

Like it, when I go there they have fresh everything there, love it.

I was at Hy- Vee to have my Weather radio programmed by KSNT T.V. Afterwards I went inside the store to get money off my bank card. But I didnt get served. The worker told me they dont do that. What Grocery store does not let customers get money from their card at a Customer service? They were rude and not helpful. I left there confused and have no desire to return to Hy-Vee period.

I get they are coffee beans but shouldn’t you clean those dispensers they are major touch points. It’s nasty. Also the girl that works the pizza hot case likes to clean and touch trash, then she wants to serve you pizza without washing her hands. Let’s retrain on cleanliness. I have cancer so I have to be extra careful. Make sure you tell them to wash their hands.

Slightly over priced and generally the need more registers open. But its close to my house. Always clean and stocked.

Very clean & well-stocked. Brightly lit and conveniently located. Customer service is stellar, just like every other Hy-Vee I’ve been to. Chinese and salad bar are delicious, and are always sanitary and fast. This is the top dog of all the grocery stores in Topeka.
