We made an appointment for geek squad to get my computer fixed (its operating slowly so I just wanted to have them take a look at it and maybe add virus protection which we had paid for). When we arrived at the store they told us it would be ELEVEN DAYS before they would return my computer to me. I asked him how I was supposed to go without my work computer for 2 weeks? We just bought total tech and we wouldnt have wasted our money if we knew the store was clearly not operating as normal. The man we spoke to at the desk... i believe his name was Michael was also totally unhelpful. He even sent away the people in line before us saying he couldnt fix their device. He was extremely dismissive and rude. I will be going to a different Best Buy from now on.
I really like Best Buy. Its a great store its like Toys ToysRUs for tech adults who love technology and even the person just looking for appliances or specific piece for there 🖥 computer. All the popular brands from home to gaming. The best prices theyll even price match. You really cant get any better. Then to top it off... They have the Geek Squad. I always knew those guys would be the popular successful group now look at the world.. To this point from the beginning until now I dont have any complaints. And the very few I had in the past customer service addressed and made everything right.. I almost would rather go into a Best Buy location than shop online since days...

I arrived for a pick up order right at closing time but the wonderful guard at the door allowed me to go inside. Everyone was done and look to me as if they were ready to go home and I thought to myself oh great here we go I thought I was going to get attitude but the young man that helped me was very nice and quick. I got my niece a iPhone from here and everything has been working out great Im happy with this location
Ordered Insignia washer and dryer. Staff is cordial. Ordering was efficient. Delivery and uodates excellent. Took me many yrs to shop at Best Buy but like it very much.

Went in to buy a TV I had already researched for and was set on getting. Matt from the TV/Home Theatre & Magnolia areas was helpful and friendly in helping me get the TV checked out and loaded into my car. He also asked about many other useful add-ons and other things that go into home theatre set-ups that other people might appreciate (but I was set on only getting the TV). He was very knowledgeable of all the different TV models as well across all brands.
Last week I had an issue with my Samsung Galaxy s21 phone, the camera screen froze. I was referred to the Torrance Geek Squad because they service Samsung phones.I arrived and was greeted by Alex an associate at the front desk. He asked if I had an appointment. I did not. He looked at the schedule and the earliest appointment was at 6:30 pm, it was 11:00 am. I was frustrated because my phone was working but the screen was frozen and black, Its still a mystery. (This is the second time it has malfunctioned within a six month period).Alex said, let me see if I can troubleshoot the problem for you. He went online and worked with my phone and was able to get it working with a reboot technique in less than 20 minutes.I wanted to send a special thank you because he made an effort to solve the problem instead of saying our Geek Squad is fully booked. It is refreshing to meet a store associate with a can do spirit and generosity. Thank you ALEX. Stay well.
I came here to buy a mini blink 2 pk camera. It was easy to find under smart house. There was no line at checkout, I was out of there in less than 5 minutes!
I was already to give Best Buy my money to buy a brand new iPhone 12s but because I didn’t have my pin number the girl did nothing to try to help me find it as maybe Call Sprint?? I did have the security answer to get into the account. Which in my experience with all she needed. But because she was too lazy to call Sprint or help me further she just said she couldn’t sell me the phone unless I had the PIN number to my Sprint account. So Best Buy lost an $800.00 sale ! And a customer!!
Could not find what I was looking for and sales person was to lazy to find it. He sent me to the wrong area. so I walked out and went to Walmart . Better luck best buy with the next person. I wont go back there.

Went for a cell phone repair, and was given a price range of 79.00 to 158.00, well after they took my phone to the back for a complete check of the problem, the guy from geek squad comes back and told me that the charging port and aux port were just dirty, and that I wouldnt have to pay anything. I appreciate honesty.
Very easy to get lost in here. The item I actually wanted wasnt in stock. But a cheaper alternative was available so everything worked out.

Went to best buy in redondo where they didnt have the phone by Verizon I would like to have bought. But the said best buy in torrance had it. So I go their and rhe sales associate starts by jacking up the price and saying I was looking at wrong phone. And they are going to charge myself for a sin card even though Im a Verizon customer and have a Sim card already. Pointing this out to him, he comes up with new charges. I will not go to best buy Torrance, ca ever again

Following a reasonable amount of work, they discovered that my Jetpack has a recall on it.I telephoned the Jetpack manufacturer, they accepted my call and confirmed that my Jetpack was recalled. Its a tale of two stores. It depends on whos helping you. Store is huge, great selections, but not all associates are helpful. I waited almost two hours inside the store to get my computer. The first associate brushed me off, so I waited. 45 minutes later I spoke with a different associate who took my receipt and promptly got my stuff. I definitely appreciated her for that. As I said, I guess its all who you speak to.
What can I say besides Best Buy is great never had any issues here I had to return products here in the past and its always been a breeze staff here super friendly and always very helpful this place is a must for all your electronic needs.

Geek Squad knows there business. These guy fixed...well they replaced my overly expensive phones charging port. Good thing I had geek squad protection for it. Anyway, they fixed it in a hour with no extra charges. I definitely walked away happy. I know its crazy these days but I did have to wait almost a week for the appointment. I hope they can remedy that issue a bit.

Went in at 11am to buy a new computer and have data transfered over from old one and soonest they had an appointment with geek squad was 7pm.Left and bought it at Office Depot for less and transfered data in an hour.Didnt spend $800+ at bestbuyDid spend $800 at Office Depot.

This review is for seasonal workers or new workers, employees that currently work in this location will try to sabotage you, they will hide online orders and will send you the wrong direction where you will waste time and will never find the item. They hide the items on purpose so they can get you fired while they try to make other workers look like hard workers. Its all favoritism Im here, you have to kiss their ases to be on their good side else they will do whatever it takes to make you look bad so that you will not get hired as a full time worker after the seasonal position is over. They will team up against you, be careful.
Horrible geek squad service. Their phone repair center did a good job repairing the phone. But did not communicate at all what was going on and were 5 days longer than they said they were going to be. When its your phone that you run a business with, five days is huge. They need to be on the ball with their repairs. U-break I fix could have done it in 24 hours.
Purchased I tv for pick-up after mine broke. This location was closest to me and when I arrived and it was easy to find parking and notify the team that I was outside. Took maybe 5-7minutes for them to bring out the tv and load it onto my truck, fast and easy. Great service.
Came out to the car to check on stock for a certain item before I ordered online for pickup there. They had it and was able to take card and do transaction in the store and come out again to deliver to me! Thats great service! Theyre really trying. Would give 5 star if I was able to go into store myself. LOL 😆
Curbside pick up - Sonos products available there, weeks before Sonos can even deliver - I’d say very good - in this case. Not to mention - it very well may be the best all purpose Sonos product (with pairing) BT portable size & rich full scale sound to date. This thing covers all the bases, and a charge lasts really long. No complaints here.

Best Buy in Torrance is my go to spot for all my electronic needs! Ive been going here for so long and their service has always been great! That curbside pick up is a nice option so you can just purchase online and get your items brought to you by an employee without having to go inside and wait in line or end up purchasing more than you were supposed to.. 😂

Disappointing. No explanation given at entrance for needing to check in so I bypassed that and entered as most people did. I had 4 departments to visit so the check in would have been bothersome. 2 of the basic items I wanted you were out of stock. You are forcing me to shop with Amazon
The one time I actually had to see customer service for a pre paid defective phone they sold me, they couldnt help me. They never activated the phone so tracfone couldnt help me cause the phone shows inactive on their system. I told best buy that they need to activate the phone and they passed me to the manager who said that they only activate phones during purchase. They dont realize theres 2 types of activation. The phone and then the service. Even after I explained to the manager he was saying I was wrong. Luckily tracfone was able to help me over the phone in activating it. Shout out to geek squad. They definitely know what they are doing and if I could give them separate ratings itbqould be 5 stars.

Best professional and honest Customer Service! This Best Buy has given me the best customer service so far. I took my phone here to change the battery. It only took them 1 hour compared to bestbuy in Lakewood mall which took 2 hours. The geek squad guy named Cesar helped me get the 20% off through total tech support membership which is under my mom’s name but is also under my phone number. My phone number has two names because I used my mom’s name for the total tech support instead of my name. He used my mom’s name and the 20% off were able to applied. I’m amazed because I didn’t even asked or said anything about it but he mentioned it which I really appreciate because I’ve had so much bad luck and bad customer service experience on two Best Buy geek squad guys that I’ve been to (Lakewood mall and Hawthorne). Both told me that my total tech support don’t matter and one even agreed I shouldn’t get it next time. But my faith is restored.I wish every employee in bestbuy and geek squad is like Cesar. So I’ll definitely come back here again because they provide very good, honest and professional customer service. I’m very very satisfied with my experience. Merci beaucoup Best Buy! :D

I have to say Best Buy is not what it used to be I went to get a I went to get a CD music player and they dont carry them no more only online even the CDs have vanished very few vinyl records but you can buy your other electronic devices TVs Bluetooth speakers and other Electronics they even have childrens toys they have very few DVDs to not like they used to have but other stores may vary this is the one down on PCH and Hawthorne Boulevard I was disappointed not to get my CD player for my home stereo the store guy said people listen to music now on their cell phones....
Yesterday May 4, 2021 me and my partner went over to this specific best buy with a positive attitude and mind set on purchasing a camera. When we were looking at them one of the employees told us we needed to go to the front desk and let them know that we needed assistant with the cameras. And so we did as we were told to do so. This was around 05:13pm. The guy at the front door got our information down and we got a direct text stating that Youre in the queue and a TEAM MEMBER will be with you Shortly! for the mean while we decided to look around and keeping an eye on our phone for any new txt and glance over by the cameras section, but no employee was around at all. We hanged around for over 45 min in the store and we still got no new message and no sign of any employee. We went back to the camera section once again to look at them again and hoping an employee will come to us. BUT NO!! What upsets me more is the fact that there where SOO many employees standing around TALKING and LAUGHING. After we waited almost an HOUR for help we decided to leave the supremacies with NO HELP AND NO CAMERA. I believe they need to do a full follow up with the employees or get re-trained. This is really upsetting. NEVER AGAIN !!!

Needed something to help boost our Wi-Fi signal since its a large house. Knowledgeable staff but she did direct me to the next expensive item even though I insisted the smaller version would work. It works like a charm.
Good job best buy. Managed not to make covid Christmas a total nightmare. The sign up for help system worked well. Now if humans could follow directions that would be even better. The phone dept is awesome and even the Samsung people help out without having a fiscal investment in your purchase. Beats Amazon Ill keep supporting my Torrance BB. They price match too.
I had the best experience right from the beginning it started with 😇 Mario Who assisted me in the front happily and gracefully directed me with out hesitation to help me with my technical issue that my daughter desperately needed. Mario then then directed me to A geek squad technician (Denorah) 👩🏻💻 blessing in disguise. 🙌🏼👼🏼 And she worked her magic. Not only did I go into the store not knowing if I was going to be able to get the help I was going to need but Mario made it happen From the beginning and Denorah added the cherry on top. Completely fixing my technical issue no problem. Their customer services skills exceed beyond my expectations and I was so happy! I know at this time in the world people are over worked and underpaid and and have little staff to assist everyone one. So these two amazing souls blessed me just by the assistantship they performed for us! The best! Thank u. You two!
