Both times I went here I had an appointment (for new tires) and both times I waited over 45 minutes after my appointment time before they even started on my vehicles..When I inquired with management they told me that only secures me a spot and makes me a priority but I sure didnt feel like a priority..Once they get the ball rolling it goes fairly smoothly. However, I just think they should do a better job of getting peoples service started closer to their appointment time.I mean it was 8am, it was just opening there werent a bunch of cars so in my mind there was no reasonI should have waited 45 minutes for them to even start...They have great prices on tires that just think they need to step the service up a notch to match...
Worth paying Costco $300 more. This was rough from start to finish. People make mistakes. Lots of room for that. This was a fours of mistakes.After an hour of waiting (they had quoted me an hour for the job), the guy told me there was a problem and sent me across the street to autozone for parts that I didn’t need and they didn’t end up using. He said he couldn’t get started until I brought him the parts. He said it would be 20 min, and 1.5 hours later he told me parts didn’t work, he’s just use the old ones, they’re fine. Finally ready to pay, they double charged me for the tires I’d previously paid for, then took 45 min to correct the bill, I’m dying meanwhile as I’m late to nurse my baby (my poor babysitter needs to go home to her kids!). I finally leave telling the guy please call me, will give them my credit card when they sort it all out. I’m driving home, they call me to say they’re calling the police if I don’t come back to pay in person, and no they won’t take my card over the phone. I return, they add other stuff to the bill, that I had asked them not to (some warranty). another 30 min to correct and pay. No one seemed to know how to correct everyone else’s mistakes. In all it was over 4 hours to put on tires. Go anywhere else
As I’m waiting for service or someone to acknowledge me it’s been 1 hour and half no one has come to ask me what do I need .I only need oil change it’s nothing genius what’s wrong with Walmart auto center I love Walmart but they need to change their stuff At The auto care or give them some good customer service training these people at the auto care just don’t care my time is precious for me but I wait for 3 hours to change oil with not a lot of people in here i horrible customer service
This was by far the BEST experience of maintaining my car... The Staff works together so well and projects a SAFE and Professional environment.... AWESOME TEAM...... They changed the Oil, Rotated and Balanced the tires in a timely manor... Yancy and Angel were very courteous and competent as well as the entire staff were so friendly... THANK YOU!!!!!!
They’ve become so bad here. I have been waiting (with an apoointment) for thirty minutes and finally someone acknowledge me. Used to able to get in and out. Not anymore. Plenty of guys, but a lot of standing around.
Never go here for tires or anything on your car. They neglected to write down and follow my instructions regarding which 2 tires needed to be replaced. This resulted in them throwing out one of my perfectly good new michelin tires and leaving one of the bad tires that was leaking air from a plug. This was confirmed after my tire pressure light was still on after my service. I took my car to the dealership and they informed me one of the plugged tires was still on my car. Upon trying to get the situation fixed at Walmart, I was called a liar and was blamed for the mistake. They had absolutely no interest in customer service and taking responsibly for it. In the meantime I still have a bad tire and a tire pressure light on in my car.P.s. it also doesnt take 2.5 hours with an appointment to change tires.

I had the worst experience ever. After waiting for almost 3 hours I have been told that the cannot open the oil filter. I have been changing my oil at walmart in Illinois and Missouri for the past 5 years. But this was my worst experience in walmart! I went to another place and they easily changed my oil
Arrived at 6:30(website said 7am opening ) only to wait till 8 for opening and then to be told that only 2 people came in due to call offs and I’d have to wait another two hours to be attended to due to appointments ( only needed an oil change)

Last time I was here they took 3 hours for an oil change when I was the only person there. Looks like they wanted to beat their old record. Never go here if you value the time you will waste
I came in 30 minutes before they opened on Sunday and was the first car for tire change. It is now 8:40 (40 minutes after they opened) I am still waiting to be registered into the system. A total of five employees and only one is working. Just wow!Update: it is now 9am (1 hour after they’ve opened) and not one car has been serviced and I have yet to be registered. Do your self a favor and never come to this Walmart for oil change or tires.Update two: now they are servicing someone that came in way after me, needing a new battery. I understand it’s easy but isn’t this first come first serve????

The person answering the phone today doesn’t seem like she wants her job there anymore. I asked for the price for a conventional oil change and she said she didn’t know but will have to look it up. Does it really take 5 minutes to redirect me to the auto center? Or no one wants to pick up the phone because they’re too busy with something? The least that anyone can do is pick it up and say,” we’re experiencing a high volume of business right now, can you please hold or call back?” Not professional, nor a pleasant experience.

I came approximately 12 PM today about the same time as this other gentleman and bought the tires online like him we both went to the counter to pickup tires. We both were quoted two hours and his van was done at around Two PM I on the other hand did not leave until Six PM. I had every right to be worried while my car was hoisted for three hours one employee asked how many tires should he put in my car the correct answer should be four.I like the guy in the glasses who checked me in because he was knowledgeable and had common sense. That is the only positive thing I can say about this purchasing experience. I was the second to last gentleman to leave there was a guy who came at One PM still waiting. That same Hispanic gentleman said he will never come here again like him I share the exact same sentiment.I was talking to an African lady that said the manufacturer date on the tires she was purchasing was 2017. I was so glad to leave that I did not check the dates, but I was at least smart enough to buy the 40 dollar warranty when and not if the tires fail prematurely. I do not blame anyone except for the people on top who let this stuff go on.Before I left I made sure my spare tire was in my trunk. Because my tire deteriorated the previous day and my front passenger side was running off it. Just to cover my bases I let them know before they started the work. Thankfully they took all four old tires correctly and installed the new ones and my spare was still there. I did save approximately one hundred dollars compared to if I did go elsewhere, but I also would not have to wait that long. As the old adage goes you get what you paid for.
A great deal....from this store..these technician s are very good...good advice and pretty sharp bout cars...so the price cant be beat..and if u want your car to be fixed..and guaranteed then u found the right mechanics...this my friend is more important then finding a cheap mechanics...besides these guys being busy...I prefer to take a seat watch T.V. or sometimes even get a lip shopping out the way
These dudes did us a straight solid. Outstanding customer service!! I brought my car and in the morning and got it out on time by 11. They not only kept their promise but did some extra stuff too. They do everything here from change your wiper blades to change your oil too simple inspections. Tire changes are super fast n cheap here! Dont forget that you can go shopping while they work on your car. Plus plus plus!!Im sold!!

Very crowded walmart customer service very low grade, just like most Walmart these days.
They seem to be dont care about the sales and customer service. Ordered to service my car at 8 am. They took my keys and thats it. The car was starting on the parking for 70 min and they started to service other cars. When I asked a manager, she told, that they have limited staff and the car will be serviced in 3 hours. She told me to come back in 3 hours if they will not service my car by that time. Have to take my keys back and go to different place. That was supposed to be $470 service.
Came here to replace a car battery and although we were left to wait it out longer than anticipated it went well and the workers were attentive, communicative and respectful. A plus service in the auto department. However, get the cashier some help, one man to man a line of customers with other open registers is not acceptable.
Definitely make an appointment. Even then you you will still have to wait.
The manager was late opening up, he had the employees waiting to do their job making them look bad . The place opened at 8, he didnt arrive until 8:20, not a good look.
Went there on 12/28/19, Raphael was great when he took info for my car. After I paid for my Oil Change and walked to my car the windshield was not washed and also they did not vacuum the car. I thought this came with the service? Was I wrong?
Its amazing how someone that their job is customer service can care so little and be so uninterested in providing customer service.If you see a specific tire on Walmarts website that you want to buy and have installed you have to order it yourself, and have them ship it to that same store, then you have to go to that same store where they will install it, to pick it up yourself and take it yourself to the tire department in that same location to hand deliver it to the department that will install it.So, if you are looking for some kind of customer service, do not expect it at Walmart.I guess its pretty crazy to be buying tires that you want to have installed on your car and expect help with this. I think next for Walmart will be to have you go into their shop and install your own tires.
This is my first time using this Automotive Service...I am pleased and did not have a Problem or complaint... Yes, I will use this Automotive Service again in the future. They were careful to be sure all my questions were answered...
Awful service, I was the second costumer of the day (I arrived there at 7:10 am) and it took for them more than 3 and a half hours to replace the four tires. They also made a mistake by putting 2 different brands. The manager gave a little discount but that does nor compensate the bad service and the long waiting. Im not going to come back here I expected a better service.
For tires & oil change its a no brainer. Definitely not as fast as Jiffy Lube but at less than $50 for full synthetic, well worth the wait. You can order tires on line & have them installed while you shop.
Found my headlights there no problem. Got to check out in the automotive sections so i didnt have to stand in the long line up front.
Horrible service!!!!!! Avoid at all cost. I waited 20-30 mins before I got any help. Then after the employee decided to ask what I needed he was being very rude. As great as the prices are here its not worth the trash that usually shops here. There are alot of the everyday items that are now locked up and I get this because of the customers that shop here. But having to wait for someone to unlock something then wait at a certain register to purchase the item are insane. Unfortunately Walmart doesnt care so...

Who misleads their customers for an oil change that never happens and make them wait for over 2.5 hours. And to top it all off, they even made it sound like it was my fault. The frontline people are horrible thugs. If its possible to give them a negative score, I would.

They were so slow, I had to cancel my service and ended up just buying my tires but having a faster tire shop mount them. Complained to the manager (who was very nice and unerstanding) and showed her their rating, since she said she didnt know what it was - a 2.6 btw - and she said she had been trying to hire more people but hasnt had the best luck doing so. I guess you get what you pay for!

If I could give no stars I would. Service has gone down to the ground. I went in to get my tire fixed they told me it will be a 4 hour wait. I sucked it up and waited. I ended up waiting over 5 hours and still wasnt seen. And to add insult to injury a person who came in 30 mins after me, was seen an hour before i decided to leave. Please dont waste your time going there. And heads up even though theyre open until 7pm they dont take any more clients after 4pm. I guess they want people to be able to leave before they lock up for the night smh.

Terrible terrible terrible...bought a battery month ago after they took 3 hours to change it. Now the battery went out Im here another 2.5 hours just for them to check the battery I see the guy is slow walking to my car to check it . dont come to this place its horrible.

I was having to put air in my front drivers side tire, about every 3 days, so wanted to either patch it or get a new tire. I got there about 10am, only 1 customer before me who was just about to leave. 4 employees there so it should have taken about 20 minutes. and went into store to tell them what I needed checked and fixed. After walking around the whole store 2 hours later still waiting. hen waiting by the cashier wondering why they havent called me yet, like they said they would. Finally asked what is wrong, they didnt even look at my car. Some new guy, didnt know what he was doing started working on tire, told me that he sees no leak!???? I just looked at him, without getting mad, said ok thats weird since i have to put air in every 3 days. Ok then and he put tire back on. I get into car, brake pad screeching like crazy, i was so upset, yet needed to get back to a 94 year old I take care of. I Will Never Go to Wal-Mart Again for tire assistance. I dont have money to correct whatever they did to my new brake pads and still having to put air in tire every 3 days or it goes flat. The screeching is awful. If employees dont know what their doing why are they there? So he more or less thought I was lying about having to put air in my tire every 3 days or its flat within 5, and he didnt know how to put a tire back on. What a shame a customer has to deal with the consequences if an in trained enployee. DO NOT GO HERE.
My mom got an oil change from walmart, she checked her oil after, and it was low. Same thing happen to my brother. he had an oil change in the recent past and they did not put enough oil in and his engine ended up burning out.
When I buy new tires at another location I go to the entire process takes roughly 45min-1hr. Ive been here for 2.5hrs now and theyve barely started taking the tires off the car. The car had been sitting there for 1 hour outside and another hour inside unattended. The employees simply stand around. They work so SLOW! Theres a guy here who has been here as long as I have but his car has been worked on for almost 3 hours. This is poor quality service. Only reason Im here is for the financing.

I bought my car on south bay toyota dealer in western avenue and also a member of toyota care plus.yesterday i found my dashboard sign light was on and went toyota dealer they said My tire has big nail, service advisor Mr.Dwayne Moriss came to me and said that i need to change the tire and they are charging me more then $200 ($159 for tire and tire installation fee).Two month ago i had a same problem and went to toyota ....same place ..south bay toyota western avenue they said the same thing and charged me $40 to fix the nailed tire.Yesterday also they said same tire has another nail and advising me to change the tire......?????My brother suggested me to check other places too, then i found Walmart tire and lube express and went there today morning. A person named Larry came to me fixed my tire on $10. He also said the the tire price what toyota is charging is too high.THANK YOU LARRY YOU MADE MY DAY .....i recommend this place to everyone.
