A lot of things to see super nice for a little walk

Amazing selection and well organized by category. Very clean books not even a bit of dust. Staff is so friendly and always there to help. Don’t forget there are two Book Off stores here. One giant one downstairs and a huge one upstairs. You gotta ask because the beautiful mall is big. Some haters give bad reviews but they want something for nothing. They should try to sell their junk on the sidewalk or on eBay but they can’t. Other bookstores might buy their junk but it’s unlikely. If you want a nice environment that is safe and has parking and security then come here. I support every aspect of their model and pity people that are full of hate. We go to Book Off every week and are so thankful they are here.

I like this place. Ive been tothe one in Lakewood (has a better selection and much bigger) they are practicing social distancing. They have barriers at the registers. They are also located inside the mall.

English literature books, anime collection, and electronics/ video games etc. at good prices! Fun spot to look for items you wont find elsewhere other than online

I love Bookoff for they have collectible everything. Tons of DVDS, CDS Classic old toys, figurines COOL!

This place is awesome. So few like it left, please support it so we can bask in economical nostalgic intellect for years to come. Always something interesting to find for a great deal.

Any film afficionados will find a lot to be happy about here. The DVDs are in alphabetical order (by letter - after that, you kind of have to dig) and are plentiful. I found what I was looking for right away, and it was $2.50, as are most of the singles. They also have TV series - I was looking for Northern Exposure, and they had it by season, or the entire series, reasonably priced. Score! I didnt look at anything else since I was short on time, but you could probably spend many happy hours here!

Everything you could ever want. I walked 4 miles watching my granddaughter have the time of her life on a shopping spree...

Always fun to see what type of awesome stuff they might have. Lots of Japanese import toys, books, movies and more. A great selection of retro gaming options as well.

This location is upstairs, inside the Del Amo mall. It is organized and clean, but has significantly more movies than books. There is also a decent sized section for albums and music. I was in looking for books, so I was a bit disappointed by the selection, but I would still return in the future as inventory comes and goes.

What an awesome store and a rare gem! Everything was so organized: books, toys, DVDs, CDs, vinyls. And a really great and varied selection with REALLY good prices.

Impressive collection. Pleasantly surprised to find such a bookstore still open for business. Plan to return soon and scout out the stacks there.

Lots of neat finds to add to my book collection

Book off always has cool stuff. Its not just books and movies. They have action figures. Comic books. Huge expensive collectibles from everyones favorite movies and anime. They have games and stuff. Very big place love it

I really like going here, almost every time I go to the mall I go here. The prices are nice, too. The manga is usually cheap? The variety is great. They have old styled manga to the popular ones. They also have different sections for books, DVDs and CDs. I actually managed to find an evanescence CD there! The figures are provably normal priced, but Ive never bought one.

If you want or need a book I recommend this place since most of there books are cheap and if there use there even cheaper.

You need a whole day to see everything. Its like Disneyland for nerds. It has a little bit of everything to see. We went in mainly this time for the anime! Ten thumbs up 👍

A good place to find manga and figures but the prices are not cheap. Still I enjoy going there, a pleasant place to visit.

Great little spot to find some oddity, book, games and more. I personally love the book section, can often find some random titles you wont find in your average B&N.

This is one the the places I missed the most during the pandemic. Always find inexpensive books, DVD blue rays and music CD. Aside from all that the staff is friendly. Daphne

Loved this place. First time shopper. They have a huge selection of used DVDs and books. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Bookoff has two stores in this mall, a normal Bookoff, and an outlet store where everything is $1. The outlet store is closed Fridays and Saturdays currently, which isnt on their website.

My 16 year old loves this place. They have a decent Manga collection.

Del Amo is always good for shopping, not too busy and has decent stores. However a lot of stores have closed down and you gotta stand in line to go inside a lot of places due to social distance

Lots of DVDs, books, collectibles, etc. Prices are very good, staff are helpful & considerate when asked for help. We always find something to buy when we stop in.

Books and more books. Also cds and more cds. Its quite time consuming to shift through the hundreds of books stacked in bins, but I found a couple of great history books, so the work was worth it. And at $1 each you really cant go wrong.

Very good used and one of a kind items.

I love the store, but I have a reoccurring issue with one of the staff. Shes accused me of switching tags, randomly upped the price on one of my friends items when we got it from the discount book shelf, and overall I do all I can to avoid buying things with her there, or if I do I make sure someone else checks me out. I believe her name is Anne, she has short, dark hair. I dont know what her problem is, but if I see her before I even enter the store I will skip it.

Really great book store to find unique books, old books, or cheap books. They have a little bit of everything and the prices are phenomenal!!! They also have an annex deeper in the mall on the other side through Macys that has everything for one dollar! I bought 5 books at that store for $5 plus tax that originally would have been almost $200. At this main location in the mall most books are around $5.50 to the most expensive book we bought being $9.50. They also have Manga, DVDs (including series like Lord of the Rings, Starwars, and Harry Potter in the $1 store), CDs, Video Games, Electronics, and toys. They also, seem to buy used electronics and books and have a section for you to sell your own books.

After visiting the store in Gardena, I went to this one located at the Delamo Fashion Center, totaly loved it too, all kind of books, DVDs, video games, figures and much more. All gently used items, very organized, friendly staff, and great prices! Ill definitely go back, and its a very easy to find near one of the exits of the mall with plenty of free parking.

Used to love this place and would give 5 stars, but they really cut back on selling the good stuff. Gone are the days you could get a cheap cellphone for foreign friends, or dig through their electronics parts for ancillary components to rebuild your time machine(s). Even the computer selection has dropped. Im all for encouraging people to read more books but I cant fathom how they pay the rent when 70% of their floorspace is dedicated to selling books for 25 cents, but clearly I am missing something.

If you cant wake up early enough to go treasure hunting at garage sales, this is the place to go. They have thousands of books, comics, manga, DVD, video games, toys, action figures, electronics and much more to dig through. Just noted their price is based on eBay and sometimes even more than eBay. Just do some research yourself to get the best bargains.

Good place to find old movies at a low price.

The store has wide selections and great deals. Some aisles need to be reorganized. I do feel like the decor and style of the store could be brightened up or made more eye-catching instead of just gray, black and white. But the staff is helpful and they will answer all of your questions.

Ok store, nothing special really. The flow didnt really make sense to me, there doesnt seem to be any particular order of genre, timeline or format. Not bad but not great either. Would still recommend for collectibles but be prepared for a rummage around before finding something good...

Great selection and variety. Im surprised people are griping about prices for their used books. Donate them to the library and write it off. One never gets good prices for their used books and video games. Good store.

I went in all excited and stuff because I found 5 seasons of greys anatomy, plus at least 7 other movies I’ve been wanting for a while now. I literally walked around the store for an hour... hour and a half. Only to walk up to the register to read their policy on card transactions is “no debit is accepted everything is ran as credit,” but why? Shouldn’t I be able to use my pin if I desire to do so? I had to leave $65 worth of merchandise because I didn’t have cash, I had lost my identification and haven’t gotten my replacement (my only current ID is expired), and well yea... who expects to go to a store only to be told oh yea we don’t do debit only credit. Great on you guys for checking ID, I wish more places enforced this. But this doesn’t mean your customers need to be forced to pay credit. Needless to say, I’ll have to buy these elsewhere. Pretty disappointing.

I love coming here. They have a great selection of early reading books for my youngest, great selection of chapter books for my oldest. They also have comics and game console as well as a great selection of movies. Definitely recommend coming here. the staff is friendly and very helpful.

Nice location tons of odds and ends

A great place for Japanese books! Extremely cheap. I just wish it was labeled with Japanese and English to help you know what section is what. Just a helpful thing for people who are beginning to learn how to read Japanese!

I didnt enjoy it because it didnt have more than one book of the author that I was looking for her name is Jana DeLeon and she writes the fortune series of mysteries also there was only one person at the register and there were people inside looking around so fortunately for me I didnt have to buy anything but I just didnt and it was very impersonal I didnt really get the feeling that you know the guy who was working the register could care less all right

If you are looking for a specific book or movie odds are you will find it here. Cheap prices for some of the movies and shows. Others can be pretty high in price though. Also fun to look around and just see what they have .

I love this place! You can get some serious nostalgia walking down some of these aisles with the retro game consoles. They have a LOT of used books and movies too, not just games. There is an section anime and even some little figures from different anime series. Definitely worth a wall through

No good customer service

Rude people. Wont give you penny on a $. I brought $800 worth of Japanese books all brand new, some still in cellophane, the way they sell in Japan. One guy I believe had sense of decency and knew that all these Japanese books are expensive, and suggested to take it to Gardena store. But another grabbed them, saying that they would give me the same price. Guess what - lousy $28! I couldnt believe that! I was ripped off. The worst part of this store - they dont care about environment or anything! Some people whos books, CDs they dont take, would say - please donate it. But instead of donating to local libraries or schools - they throw everything in a trash! I couldnt believe that!
