Let me start off by saying that the chocolate is easily a 4/5 in terms of taste and quality. However, the cleanliness of this place really made me question if I should have even taken the first bite. If you had children and their room looked like this, they’d be grounded forever. Hopefully this changes.

I was skeptical at first because from the outside it doesnt look open. Also, the price of chocolate there is higher than you might expect so dont be shocked at first glance. The chef and family were very friendly and easy to talk with. You can tell they enjoy what they do.On to the chocolate....OMG....it was awesome. Tried a small bite of 100%, 76% and 60% (or so). No bitterness at all. Also had a few samples of their other chocolates and ended up buying almost $30 worth on that visit. Looking forward to going back.

Weve been wanting to stop in here for a while. Amazing, Im glad I did. And the Sipping Chocolate! Its thick and rich and smooth with subtle spices. In other words, everything you could want it to be.

A very small cafe, but smells amazing when you walk into the store. The outside is under construction. They offer different chocolate bonbons, chocolate bars and drinks.Sipping Chocolate with Almond Milk:IT WAS SO GOOD! Very chocolatey! I was very surprised because most vegan hot chocolate are bland. But not this one. I could see that they put tons of chocolate into this cup.Cacao nibs wafer cookie:This one was perfect for a little sweet treat in the afternoon.They have parking next to their store or 20mins parking in the front.

The google maps info is incorrect; this store is NOT open on Saturdays, we drove quite a ways to get there, very frustrating.

I placed an order on Feb 10, for valentines, and I still havent received confirmation of shipment. I called them but their voicemail is full, I sent them 3 emails and I still have no idea whats happening. I checked the order through the Shop app, as their email suggests and there order confirmation email suggests, but there is no tracking number yet (8 days after placing the order!) I spent 36 dollars, I dont even know if I am getting my money back!

Small boutique chocolatier. Seen them at the candy fest in Los Angeles. They make great tasting 100% chocolate. Not bitter and very smooth. Something to do with tempering for long periods of time. Wife loves it since shes sugar free.

Visited as a conference tour and met a very friendly couple that truly care about the customer first. Their love for their chocolate is evident by their view that the customers experience is more important than the profit margin. The world needs more Jeff and Naomis! By the way, their chocolate, tea and coffee is amazing too!Door Dash delivers their chocolates, so order delivery if you cant make it in-person.

Wow!!! Just discovered this place today. Amazing products. Even their zero sugar 100% cocoa is buttery sweet. Their Super Foods 84% chocolate bar is wonderful. This is now my favorite place to go for healthy chocolate. The owners are wonderful also.

The chocolate that I ordered arrived today and I have tasted one of each variety that was in the box. The chocolate is so delicious that I just had to try all of them. I have friends who live in PV and I am going to let all of them know about Marsatta Chocolate! Wish I lived close enough to just drop in once in awhile. DELICIOUS!!

I see the sign everyday but didnt think much of the place. To be honest, I questioned whether or not it was an abandoned building. Nonetheless, I was on a walk with my wife and kids and decided to poke my head in. The owner was there a few minutes to close and gave us the royal treatment. Chocolates are excellent. The education I received was enjoyable. I had never tasted pure chocolate that tasted so good, I thought it was supposed to be bitter. NOPE!This WILL be a boutique chocolate shop one day that is ran by employees that dont have the passion the Owner/Chocolate Master does. My recommendation is to get there soon for the raw, real-deal experience we got to have before its too late.

First time here. Still open during construction. Its a very small place. Not too sure how long theyve been open. Theres just a couple of tables with a couple of chairs each. So not too sure what the finished store will be like. They have coffee, teas, pastries and chocolate. The service is friendly and helpful in explaining the menu items. The chocolate I tried was the mocha. It was so good. The depth, richness and smoothness of the chocolate was the best. I then got the floral lemon rooibos iced tea. So flavorful and refreshing. Loved it. My mother tried their hot chocolate and the milk almond log. She loved both. Said the hot chocolate was rich and chocolatey. It is pricey for the chocolate but worth indulging in. I would definitely go back. It will be when I really deserve a treat!

Anyone who compares this chocolate to a Hersheys is either 6 years old or has no concept of what real chocolate is supposed to taste like and probably considers a night of Kraft Mac n Cheese and hot dogs a gourmet dinner. First of all, Hersheys contains very little if any actual cacao in its chocolate bars. Secondly, take a look at the ingredients on the wrapper of a Hersheys bar.............scary what they put in there.Now, for the adults who are reading this.............Marsatta Chocolate is painstakingly made by the owner of the store who has way more than a mere passing knowledge of chocolate. If you spend just 5 minutes with him, it is clear that he understands the complexities of what REAL chocolate is about and he makes his creations with a genuine passion for the product that reflects that knowledge.The second you walk in the store, you realize that there is something special going on. The aromas are incredible and you cannot wait to sample some of the amazing products which the owner is always more than happy to share with you.Is it on the expensive side? Well, as I said, if you come from a background where you would consider a Hersheys Bar fine chocolate, than you might think so but if you spend a few minutes searching for organic, bean to bar chocolate on the internet, you will find that Marsatta Chocolate is priced very fairly and actually lower than many others made in a similar way.But why listen to me.......go give it a try for yourself. A couple years ago I got the idea that there MUST be a great chocolate shop in the LA area. I was willing to drive. A search found Marsatta in a little industrial mall in Redondo Beach...a very short drive. I went out and met Jeffray, who I thought was a chocolatier..but NO. Hes a master chocolate maker. Starts with the beans and creates masterworks.Now in a regular retail shop at Del Amo and Anza, I can visit and get these fantastic works of magic easily.Yummmm....tomorrow cant come soon enough.
