What a dessert bakery should be. Always has a good selection of goodies to eat. They have a standard set of baked breads and pastries along with the seasonal offerings. Hot and cold beverages are also available. This location is currently under construction but they are open.

Love this place. Haven’t been for years and happened to be in the area today, so popped in to get my favorite marble taro bread. Saw Hokkaido cheese tarts, so decided to try one—and it’s delicious!I noticed they have an app now, so maybe it could be useful in the future order ahead and skip the line?

All the breads and sweets were delicious. Try the Sea Salt coffee iced...so yummy!!

I got their Mango peach smoothie and it tasted super good! The mango and peach complement each other so well! But, I stopped drinking it because I started to get a stomachache. I took a nap and looked at my drink and 😳. OMG?

Constantly great bakery goods and beverages. I always get the Hawaiian chicken when available and the salted ice coffee. For now they have done away w the trays and pre wrapped each item. I can easily hold 4 and a coffee 😊

Store is cuurently under construction/remodeling (Oct 2021). l like the sea salt coffee espresso, strawberry smoothie, egg tarts and other pastries.

This is supposed to be Thai tea but by the looks and taste you would never know. They water down the Thai tea so much it’s almost non existent, on top of that they fill up the cup with ice as if the drink already wasn’t watered down. Highly disappointed, I should’ve tried it before leaving. Don’t get the Thai tea, or drinks at all.

It was busy when we got there but, the line moved quickly. We purchased several of their individually wrapped breads to try and some 85 degree coffee. Even though they were being remodeled it was clean and tidy. We will be back.

Always a variety of delicious pastries. My personal favorite is the jalapeno cream cheese buns. They also make killer smoothies, even boba if youre into that kind of thing

They were (are?) under renovation when I went, but all things considered, it was a good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, service was fast, and the food was great!

Nice open area where you can see all the goodies! Girl at the front counter was super friendly and very informative as it was our first time there. Nice and clean place with lots of breads n sweets to see, oh and they also have Boba. Their display will make you want everything in sight. Friendly people, good sweets to try. If youre looking for some sweet treats that are delicious then this is the place to visit. Loved it.😋

Possibly the BEST Coffee?I recently just discovered this bakery, coffee shop. And what a Gem it is! Baked goods, sweets, and other treats. I have yet to sample everything as Im a new customer here and only have been here twice.I can tell you, as a coffee drinker, their sea salt coffee is simply awesome. The price is budget friendly already, but on Mondays, its Coffee Monday and coffee sells for just 85 Cents!WHY 85 cents? Well, because the Bakery is called 85° . That as in Eighty Five Degrees.Where you can get those yummy slightly sweet, but not overly sweet, baked goods and coffee.They have a variety of coffees both hot and iced by the way.So far Ive had buffet their Monday Special Coffee.But in due time, Ill make my way along theyre goodies.Check out this place!Youll love it! Just be sure youre not in a rush because this place is always packed and youll have waiting time. But the wait is worth it all.

Updated review, it used to be really good but I feel that the quality has gone down a bit. The boba seems undercooked in the milk tea or any drink you get boba with. Its hit or miss now. The last 4 times I went, its been undercooked.Otherwise still standard fare. The cakes are still delicious, the staff are friendly etc.

Very efficient operation, the goods are well worth the wait. I came for a post meal coffee but the pastries and desserts displayed had me question my fullness.

Favorite place to grab pastries. They always have a good selection of various choices for sweet along with a few thrown in that would make do for a light lunch, like a ham and cheese stuffed bread or the Hawaiian pizza style pastry. Cakes are great and so far all cakes my family have gotten taste fresh and moist. For the years I have been dropping by here I have yet to get a pastry that tastes old or dry, like its been sitting on the counter for too long. Drinks are great. They have various coffees and even a few milk teas and smoothies. Even with the pandemic going on, they have done there best to not lose their edge and so far it is working. Selection is smaller right now but rotates items in and out regularly. Staff have been and still are very friendly. You can tell they like being there. A great place to stop by if youre feeling in the mood for some filling sweets. Its hard not to go overboard and destroy your waist line.

Great selections of bread. But sometimes, if you go too early, not much breads are out yet, and you ended up with some other bread than what you were meant to get. Restroom kept clean most of the time. One of the most spacious 85c in this area. Decent numbers of seating, although usually filled up pretty quick in the weekends.

The sheer variety of sweet and savory breads makes my mouth water before I even step into the store. And today I tried the mango slush with boba. So yum!

Although this place is tiny compared to the other 85 bakery i visited,they are excellent when it comes to cleanliness.The breads on display are all plastic wrapped for safety reason which i actually like.save some time too as we dont need to wait in the counter for them to bag individually.Im pretty on how my drinks turn out my favorite drink was ICE CARAMEL COFFEE WITH SEASALT CREAM AND EGG PUDDING.

I come here for the Oolong! However, its almost Moon Festival so I tried a moon cake. If you can tolerate gluten this vakerynhas options for days. Wjen I just must have bread there brioche loaf is so good! Their prices are not over the top and they have several beverage options for every taste preference.

Great customer service! Wide variety of baked goods and regular food. They have many drinks to choose from. The cool thing about the drinks are that they put a plastic spill proof lid on the drinks for safe travel.

Bakery is absolutely delicious with a wide assortment of yummy Asian and Western flavors. I personally like the chocolate, taro, pork sung baked goodies. Lines move pretty fast unless you come during busy hours on weekends.

We got egg tarts, fudge brown cookies, blueberry muffin, walnut bread and strawberry half moon. Everything was great and very low priced.

Dangerous if you have an undiagnosed eating disorder. I may or may not have sampled somewhere between 6-12 of the smallish (3 bite) mini pie tin confections. Flavors ranged from creamy cheese to berry crumble.My son raved about the chocolate bun, which is quite deceiving because it looks like a roll of dark bread. Turns out its chocolate flavored bread with chocolate stuffed inside. Whats not to love?The set-up inside includes a self service area, with trays and tongs provided.There is also a glass case of beautiful cakes and fruit tarts.I plan on trying them all.4/5 stars for my burned out american palate that prefers a tad more of sweet flavor to my sweets.

I asked for this passion fruit green tea lightly sweetened because they always over do it with sweetener and this was definitely not lightly sweetened. I tried calling to ask if I can come another time to get a different one but the four times I called they hung up on me.

Standard fare 85c....This chain used to be special, now its asian Starbucks with lots high school and college kids sipping something sweet creamy, playing on the cell while popping zits.

Reasonable prices for utterly delicious treats. My kids will be packing tasty rolls and croissants for school snacks and making all the other kids envious.

There is a wait as you go in since they are being covid conscience. Going earlier in the day guarantees the best choices of bread.

The BEST experience Ive had ANYWHERE in so long!! The employees are so friendly and efficient and the store was so clean and everything was so neat and orderly and the process to find what I wanted to find was streamlined and efficient! Their mocha coffee milk butter sweet bread and their iced rose milk tea is AMAZING!!!!! Felt like i tasted a little bit of heaven, now im hooked. Found this little gem and from being a newbie im now a regular. They have such a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, drinks and so much more. The venue is clean, staff is super friendly. A dear friend of mine states its home away from home. Highly recommend!!!

We come here for the Milk bread. Its the only one our daughter eats. The bread gets sold out quickly though. I also like the Hokkaido cheese cake pastry. Its $2. It used to be cheaper. I think $2 is steep for such a small item.Anyway, we keep coming back for the Milk Bread.The Panna Cotta with red beans is nice but it feels to rich and sweet after the first 2-4 spoonfuls. Their iced sea salt coffee with boba is the best! They have other really good drinks too. Their cakes are so beautiful, we feel guilty cutting into them. Also, their large selection of sweet and savory pastries had me not carrying about the carbs as I piled each piece on to my tray.

I will never ever stop loving these fineness pastries, fresh bread and so many other varieties of sweetness, I can find, in this bakery shop. We dont have them in Chicago. So, this will be included in our itinerary when we visit our fam & friends.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price here! I got a Caramel Milk Tea with boba and a strawberry shortcake-type dessert for ~$7 total; both were fresh and delicious! They also put COVID-19 restrictions in place with well thought out spacing throughout the store. Will definitely be coming back!

They practice preventive measures to keep customers and employees safe. They have a limit of 8 to 15 people inside. Trays and tongs are placed near the cashier. Breads are freshly baked, cooled down and then pre packed. If your in a hurry and want your favorite drink like the 85 coffee, Milk tea and Thai tea they have it ready in bottles at the grab and go area.They have a new promotion for Thanksgivings Its called The giving box Total of 9 pcs it would include 1 Brioche, 1 Marble Taro, 2 Milk pudding, 2 Salted butter bread, 2 Sweet butter wreath and 1 Chocolate croissant for only $16.28 . For the cakes Mango Brulee for $ 28.05 and Tiramisu for $ 28.90.
