Great place to get your funny books from. Back in the day I would frequently shop here, but after a very long absence I returned to start over again. Same shop but under new younger ownership and over all an excellent place still. So if your in the area and you need your comic book fix, stop by and give Comic Cult a try 😉.

Tony and Steve were a pleasure to speak with. I am new to the area and this was the first shop I went to. Amazing conversation, friendly, and well rounded with comic knowledge. I left with Good vibes.

These guys know comics. Not the most discounted comics, but, they have the more recent stuff. The events are on point and all the guys are super helpful, polite and sweet.

Recently found this gem of a comic store. Their selection was awesome and TONY (stark) and steve (Rodgers) are very helpful getting me caught up on 20 years of comic collecting in two short visits. True knowledge and REAL comic book men should check them out. Look forward to giving this place my money for years to come. New management but nostalgic feel of the past.

Just started going here and really like the set up and they guys that run it are super nice and awesome.

Nice selection of back issues as well as all of the new books each week. Great atmosphere, very welcoming. Greeted immediately upon entering and was drawn into the conversation right away. If youre in or around Torrance, definitely drop on in!

I accidentally bought the wrong expansion for Catan when I went in, silly me. I came back to exchange it (I was smart enough to at least notice my mistake before opening it) and the person working there, Steve I believe, was really helpful in helping me exchange it for the right one!! Ill definitely be back here in the future! I highly recommend it!

Good selection. There are a variety of games for purchase. They do subscriptions so you dont miss issues. Daryl is a great guy and wonderful knowledge of things comic related.

This shop is amazing. I enjoyed my experience here, as it is a small family run and customer driven space. My first experience there a week back was unlike anything I have ever experienced. I was treated like family. Not a customer, family. It was an overwhelmingly positive experience. So much, that I went back the very next day. The relationship the owner has with the people who come in is in the same tone as he treated me, helpful and respectful. If you need new comics, looking for older comics, need to sell comics, want to play magic the gathering, or even just want to look around, I highly recommend coming to the comic cult. You wont be disappointed.

Awesome and homey comic store that Ive been coming to for a few years. The owner is really nice and is more than happy to help you with whatever your looking for. They may not have everything in the store, but they are more than happy to order anything for you. And it helps out your local stores instead of stupid corps.

THIS IS THE THIRD COMIC BOOK IVE BEEN TO. THE EMPLOYEE BEHIND THE CASH REGISTER DIDNT GET UP FROM HIS CHAIR. NO HELP WHAT SO EVER. ILL BE SPENDING MY MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. PARKING SUCKS. TO ME THIS STORE HAD A GOOD SELECTION OF COMIC BOOKS SOME WERE JUST $1.00

Very friendly and informative...they have a lot of cool stuff. Some real old stuff...like the black cover... death of superman from the 90s....take your kids.

Perfect customer service! I was looking for 2-5 of a comic, he not only look to see what they had in their store but also called their other location to see if they had it in stock. Very pleased and looking forward to Wednesdays now that I know what a good environment this shop is.

Super cool they had gamers at tables its a little grungy and a little out-of-the-way hard to find but a good find when you do.

Called asking for them to hold a comic for me, the owner himself said yeah yeah Ill hold it,you I said Id try to make it that day but for sure on Saturday if not and he said (his words not mine) ok great! Got there today and he said it was a day hold. Perhaps maybe that shouldve been said. I was considering becoming a memberT, thankfully this happened to stop me from that mistake. Will not go here again. Buying online is just easier I dont have to deal with these tires of problems

New management with an older man who always seems like he is being inconvenienced by your questions. After experiencing this on multiple occasions, I decided to never again return because of poor quality customer service.

Came by while looking for some back issues and the newer Damnation comics. I was able to find some nice variants and at fairly reasonable prices. Theres a good selection of main titles and a fair selection in back titles. Definitely one of the smaller and more intimate shops in the area. They also carry quite a few cards for those who play/collect. I didnt talk to the owner as he was having a pretty good conversation with another customer about storylines between Marvel and DC. When I came to pay, he gave me his full attention asking about my thoughts on Damnation (which I hadnt read yet, but appreciated the genuine interest) but I told him I was trying to catch up. Owner seems cool and I think he knows his stuff. I will be coming back in the future.

I love this place,it has a much smaller collection of Hard cover graphic novels than Geoffreys.But theres still a great selection, at great prices, and friendly service.

Big area for card games (which they also sell), large collection of back issues, and some good trade paperbacks. They also have a selection of busts, statues and figures.

Always nice when I go in. Tons of comics and if its not there they let u know when its in.

Owner was very rude. Went there to get an action figure for my son and the only ones he had were on display behind where the owner was sitting. I asked “are these for sale?” And he said “oh those ones aren’t but these ones are.” Then I asked how much for a certain figure and he said “oh those aren’t for sale either.” Super confusing business model, why the hell would you have all of your personal toys up for display and not have any of them for sale? At least post a sign saying such. All in all a huge waste of time, and I’m shocked how this little place is still open.

Always a great feeling walking into the comic cult,when it was in norwalk,since theyve moved to torrance still enjoy that great feeling each time I visit the shop. The owner and her staff always offer the best in customer service. If its current its there, if not they assist in getting it for you. Never had a bad experience at the comic cult. Nuff said.

I found the clerk helpful. I grabbed a back issue of Batman and when I went to pay, he informed me that the price on it was wrong and saved me a little money. Prices on Heroclix were about 50 cents less than other places around. They gave me fresh bags and boards for new issues.I admit I didnt find the back issues I was looking for. A lot of the back issues in the bin were not well cared for. Lots of the protective bags were torn, particularly on the older comics.All in all, I would definitely go back for Heroclix and new issues.
