I haven’t been in the South Bay a year yet and I can’t talk about this place enough. At this point, I have been here at least a dozen times or more in the last 8 months. Every time, our food has been hot and made to perfection. I am a nacho expert and this place has it. I have ALWAYS experienced excellent customer service and that is super rare! It seems to be the same core of people every time and when there is a new person, it seems as though the good energy rubs off on them quickly. It is local owned and you can get a siting of the owner every now and then and she is just as pleasant as the rest of her staff. I go on Sundays and I can always get a table fast. When everyone finds out about this place, I will have to start waiting and because I know what I am going to get, I will gladly wait! If you read this review, GO THERE! This place is hands down the best Local, Family Mexican restaurant in the South Bay and in Torrance specifically. We go almost every Sunday and the staff is amazing and the food is excellent. The service is always great and they remember you so it’s more like a welcome back then the same unpleasant general greeting. Food ALWAYS comes out in a good time and HOT (I hate luke warm food). I put this place before all of the surrounding Big name Mexican restaurant. Try them out, you won’t be sorry!
Excellent service and good seating. Food was not great, the servings are huge but the flavors are not authentic Mexican flavors. The carnitas were way too salty, the carne asada lacked salt and the cheese used overall was American cheese, no Mexican cheese anywhere to be seen. Enchilada sauce is likely canned sauce, as that is the flavor it had. Wouldnt re visit.
Im done!!! Why havent I seen THIS PLACE?? Im not going anywhere else. Tried for the 1st time and my family looked at me. Pls stop going to the other places. Ill spend 100 easily. For this place every darn plate was amazing full of delish Pico de gallo. Try them out please you wont regret it. Hell our 1 yr old demolished the beans and rice 🤣. Then looked at my plate. The BEST EVER. THANK YOU

My brother in law has been going here for twenty years and he told me has never been disappointed. Its a small place and occassionally there is a bit of a wait. Good wholesome cheap Mexican food, with reasonable prices a very kind polite waiters and waitresses, its our go to, for a cheap dinner when we dont feel like cooking. Beer and wine only.
Great customer service. They took care of us and made sure we were taken care of. Grated we were the only ones eating at that time but still. Food overall was good. The chips and salsa was fantastic. I got the wet burrito and it wasnt my cup of tea. It tasted a bit bland and the guac was weird. Hate to say it but it was basically a liquid form of guac, like it was fake or something.
Placed an order through DoorDash with them. Unfortunately, delivery time was 30 minutes later than estimated. However, Im still giving them 5 stars because the food was piping hot & delicious. They also gave an unexpected good size container of salsa with an entire bag of tostadas.We ordered the two chicken tacos combo, two chicken enchiladas combo, ground beef nachos and carne asada plate. The tacos & carne asada plate were on par for a Mexican restaurant. The enchiladas were delightfully very cheesy. Each bite we lifted from the plate had a string of cheese dangling. The nachos were HUGE. It could have easily fed our family of 4 on its own. There was an even amount of each ingredient; which was nice because then we didnt have to dig around much to get everything in one bite. The only thing I wasnt a huge fan of was that the chips are placed at the bottom & I believe the cheese is melted on top of them. So there wasnt the crunch I was looking for in the chips. But, that was easily remediated by using the tostada
They have basic Mexican food. Not as authentic as I had hoped. The order was correct and they served generous portions. The salsa was good. They have nice customer service and the resturant was clean.
Love this place! Best burritos, best quesadillas, best mexican food in general in the whole South Bay. Great price too!

I called they said they had empty tables. I showed up 5 minutes later an hour wait and was treated rudely by host and hostess. We had small kids and a hour wait is too long. We decided to order to go. Waited 20 minutes and was told every time we asked they were very busy and he would be there to take our order. He never came. A honest answer on the phone we are real busy, a kind greeting and a sincere I’m so sorry when we showed up would have gone a long way. Can I get you some chips and Salsa while your waiting? Would have shown they appreciated our patronage in a Covid environment. I can’t rate the food but their service left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully they can make adjustments.
Yeah so we went there today to get food. We Have seen it open with take out signs for weeks. We got there and went to the door the signs said open at 10am.There was hip-hop music playing inside, the lights were on but no answers to the door and NO answers to phone calls..idk if it was because memorial day or just an employee getting some free labor but....for now dont waste your time driving there. CALL ahead.
I cant get enough of this place. If I could eat here every day I would. The chicken flautas, chicken tacos, are my go to. Try it out you cant go wrong.

I admire this restaurant! They serve sensational food, their menu is large, The cook in that restaurant is very experienced, I enjoy a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are always tasty, the attitude towards the customers is nice. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never disappointed. I recommend it to all my friends.

It was early March, perfect weather on a Friday at noon. Had a great 2 hour lunch and enjoyable time on the outside deck. Really good service, steamed clams were great though really big, great broth. Went back fro brunch on Sunday with friends - also recommended.
We came here based on the reviews that I read and Im giving it 3 stars based on the customer service that was exceptional! Unfortunately if I were to rate the food I would give it a 1. It lacked flavor and every single one of our dishes needed salt. There was an incident where a drink was spilled all over the table at the beginning of our service. Myself and my son got soaked. My daughters also got wet. We laughed it off and the poor girl was very apologetic. But when we received the check there was no type of discount. Not even the drinks were taken off at least. I know that that would have been an incident that at any other restaurant the meal would have been comped off completely for their mistake. Would I return? Sadly, no.
Use to love the food here but it seems lately it has gone down a bit. Seems like the tacos are cooked in Old oil, dont change the oil enough and you can smell the oil inside the restaurant. Smells burnt and old!

Food was good but it is a very small space and not really meant for take out. Most single folks dont like to sit in a small room for dinner by themselves. They would rather take it home or even to a park.
Sign says its open from 10AM to 7:30PM for takeout orders yet the front door is locked even though it is after 11AM, and google maps even said it was open. Taking my business somewhere else that doesnt lie to their customers.

We live in the neighborhood and always come here for date nights. The employees are super nice and always make sure chips and drinks are full. Our food always comes out fast and is perfectly cooked. Never had any issues love this restaurant really good enchiladas

Food is good, and the service is good as well. The portion are so big in my opinion, I was full right away. I ordered the flautas plate which was chicken taquitos essentially but with flour tortilla. They came with a side of rice and beans. I was not able to finish everything.

Went here to eat with my mom. First table we sat at was not wiped clean. Second table we moved to, same story. Restaurant wasnt busy at all 3 tables occupied. Asked waitress to wipe tables. Took her 5 minutes to come back with a sanitized towel. Ordered sodas got chips and salsa that went ok. Placed orders for our dinners I got tortilla chicken soup and carnitas street tacos. Mom ordered chicken taco chicken enchilada. My soup was served room temperature and my carnitas tacos meat was 2 different colors. Not hot either. Moms chicken enchilada was a cheese enchilada and when we asked for what we ordered the waitress had to go outside to find the cook. This was around 4 pm. I woke around 11pm with the worst stomach pain Ive ever had in my life. Needless to say I had to deal with diarrhea all day at work today. I will never recommend this place to you or anyone else. Please spend your money elsewhere.

The food is good but prices fluctuate for no reason. My son and i order the same breakfast burrito and one day its $4.65 and the next time the same burrito costs $5.75. Thats a $1.10 price jump and whenever i ask they have no good excuse for it. Such a rip off.

Solid Mexican comfort food: tacos, burritos, flautas, enchiladas. The salsa, while made fresh, is average. The food is tasty and affordable and they frequently post coupons in the local ad brochures.The service is hit or miss as the servers also help in the kitchen. They have a huge parking lot as they share it with CVS and Ross. On Sunday afternoons, they sometimes feature live music.Since they only have a wine and beer license, dont come expecting to order a margarita.
I grew up going to this place, it is amazing. The tacos always satisfy my hunger, it never disappoints! This is the best Mexican food in Torrance, hands down!
We came here on a whim- best decision ever!!!Our server, Erica, was so friendly, nice, patient (huge menu& we asked a lot of questions) & totally attentive. The food was so delicious & fresh- we ordered a torta, tortilla soup, nachos, fish Veracruz, a giant quesadilla, burritos & tacos- each person raved about what they were eating! It was really affordable & we left stuffed & very happy! Will definitely be regulars now!!!

I went to eat there with a friend for lunch and it wasnt good.I orderd a carne asada burrito and when I got my burrito the meat had No flavor, the sauce tasted like straight tomato sauce was poured over the burrito and it was luke warm. My friend orderd a shrimp cocktail and it was warm as well...it was suppose to be cold...service was pretty avarage. I would definetly not eat there again .. food didnt taste authentic

The owner went above and beyond to serve me when his waitress had not arrived yet. He saw me sitting in the hot sun and took me inside a half hour before he intended to open and served me right away himself.

I love this place!!!You can tell when you just get in, the faces of the people so happy enjoying the delicious food at any time, but in about dinner time is packed, this is a familiar restaurant and always managed by the owners: Miguel and Kathy, very respectful and friendly couple with a team of enthusiastic staff providing you an excellent service.About food.. not even mentioned is delicious, tasty and fresh, from albondigas soup tobeef, chicken or seafood.
