This place gets a 5 star rating from me because of one employee: Jacob.Jacobs level of customer service and attentiveness is missing in so many areas and industries.He took the time to ask thoughtful questions to see what I wanted and needed in my guitar purchase. He stayed present with me for about 30 minutes, helped me check out and made sure I knew about all the parks and benefits of their warranties without being pushy with any offers.Ill be back for additional purchases and I will be looking for Jacob to assist me again.

A little bit of everything! My first time here I got 2 pairs of drumsticks for one buck each! You had other customers playing music so it was really nice to stick around a bit longer to listen. Workers there nice too! They dont hover around you but when you come to them they are very informative. Definitely would come back!

I needed a case for my wireless in ear monitor transmitter. I found the case I wanted on the Gator website and looked up local retailers. Went to Sam Ash and they had the exact case I wanted. The odds of that are astronomical IMHO. I was in and out and got exactly what I needed. Thank you SA

I used to be a Guitar Center guy but in the last 2 years, GC employees have a certain elitist attitude. Even more so than usual. I decided to go to Sam Ash and see how the experience was there. The sales staff seem very interested in helping the customer. Ive only shopped at Sam Ash 3 times but I will continue to shop there.I do believe SA needs to carry more brands. Thats my only gripe, the selection. No Berhinger FX pedals, No affordable drum sticks and the online selection is weak as well. SA carries things in the store that you can not find online. I think SA can up their game on selection. Dont allow Sweetwater, Musicians Friend and Guitar Center to take all of the online business....get in there and fight for your place.Ill be back there soon for pick up my Hotone Delay pedal. I got a crazy good deal on that pedal.

They helped me Good. And their all nice people all of them. To top it off they gave me coupons and a free Whammy Bar.

My husband went in to pick up an item he saw online was in stock today. The clerk told him it may be in the back then started helping another customer and totally ignored my husband who was waiting patiently. Ist and last time we will shop there. Amazon could gave delivered tomorrow but we wanted to support a local business.

Its a better store since the move from the mall location. Competative pricing and the sales people are there to answer any questions. Relatively small parking area but is easy to get in and out of

As always dealings with Sam Ash personnel is great. Traded in a PA to help with a new purchase n was treated very fairly. Its not that way at Guitar Center.

Ordered online and the item arrived blazing fast in 2 daysstore return was a bit hiccupy as not everyone was aware how to return an online orderthe second item i ordered was advertised as brand new and available for store pickup. the store called me saying item was ready for pickup .however it was an open box. classic bait and switch

Sack is a kind hearted person, my dad and I were treated many times better than any other music store around (Guitar center...) Unfortunately whereever you go youll find people with different attitudes some great some terrible, but this store is full of awesome representatives. Entered the store and was immediately greeted nicely by two different employees, a male and female. I browsed a bit and was approached twice for assistance and ultimately purchased an expensive pedal. I was helped by salesman Z Martin who treated me very well ordering my item from the warehouse in Vegas. I was reluctant to have to wait, he assured me a two shipping estimation which was true. Purchased Monday afternoon, arrived Wednesday morning from Vegas to California new. Good Job

The customer service here is great, especially since moving to this location. As much as we appreciate all music stores, the employees here are a lot friendlier than other places weve been, and the parking is more convenient. Most of the time we just browse and play, but when we buy, we always support the brick and mortar stores. Sam Ash Torrance has been a big part of our lives and weve purchased several keyboards, a Roland drum set, microphones, and many other accessories here. I just wish they still had open mic night and pray that this store always stays in business.

Recently bought a weighted touch, 88 key keyboard here. Came back to the store again to buy the pedal and other accessories. Very helpful and friendly staff. Im a music teacher but still have lots of questions about tech stuff and they answer everything patiently and enthusiastically! No worries about having lots of questions. They wont make you feel bad and wont make you feel like youre wasting their time. Not all music stores are like that, just saying. Probably will come here again when Im ready for a cajon or my family needs more guitar strings.

Bought a guitar at Sam Ash in Torrance. They were very helpful over the phone when I wanted to verify they had the item. The online order said it would be shipped but after reaching out, they were able to get me my husband’s Xmas present early. He loves his new takamine.

I had a super awesome Happy New Year experience at Sam Ash in Torrance, CA! Nelson Miranda was extremely helpful! I have been avoiding all stores, even music stores during the virus but I found out that my local Sam Ash store had an Epiphone Les Paul Custom that I wanted. I contacted the store and Nelson Miranda helped me. He said he would help me in the parking lot so that I would not need to go inside the store. Everything went smoothly and I was made a good offer for my trade. And the Epiphone is quite good. I am really looking forward to going back inside guitar stores again, hopefully soon. Thank you Sam Ash and a super special thank you to Nelson Miranda! The store manager Dave Najar is also great! He helped me before (pre-virus era) and I felt bad that it did not result in a purchase.

Had a great experience at Sam Ash Torrance. It was my son’s birthday and he wanted a new electric guitar. Sam Ash had a wide selection of electric guitars to choose from. Jackson was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending a perfect guitar for my son. Jay, assisted us on the check out process and taught my son on how to replace the guitar strings. Had a great experience. Customer service was amazing and will come back in the future. AAA+++!

I got a student clarinet for $600 US. It is functional and I love it. Great selection of instruments but some instruments like the bassoon and the euphonium (baritone) and bass or cello are not available. They do sell reeds and replacement strings and other things like guide books, neck straps and bag tags. Overall, good and professional standard. 10/10!

Sam Ash is one of my go-tos for my music equipment needs. This location happens to have great staff to help you out with what you need. The other day Jackson helped me out with an acoustic and vocal pedal. He provided everything I needed to try out the pedal, and he went the extra mile to teach me more about the product. Since Sam Ash renovated a few years ago theyve really been surpassing guitar center to me. Its nice and clean and organized. They have all the relevant gear. And they seem to always have some good deals on uses gear. Especially in pro audio if your looking for outboard analog gear Ive found some really cool stuff Im there for a very good price.

The people that work there are really friendly and helpful. The vibes are relaxing and truly allow you to take your time before making a decision on what you decide to buy. They have a good number of guitar choices and other instruments. As a musician I love coming here.

Was not treated by anyone or asked if I needed assistance by anyone and stood at the check out counter 5 minutes before being acknowledged. Lucky for me I knew what I wanted and helped myself. It sure if Covid19 Is affecting their customer service but it was not conducive to my returning. I can find gear online from now on.

Sam Ash on Hawthorne Blvd is the best music store in South Bay, maybe in LA. I wish know that before had got my new guitar and gear at Guitar Center on Artisia or need to drive all over the city to find what want.

Went in to buy a guitar case for my dread knot. Found the perfect case with help from staff. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Seemed to have a lot of stuff, even a keytar! I thought those went away in the 80s! Not a great selection on djembe drums, which is what I went in for. However, a used red pocket trumpet caught my eye. I tried it out in one of their acoustic rooms (which was really handy) and decided to buy it.

I just went into this store for the first time and had a great experience. The store is large with a large selection of products. The main reason for my review is because of the great experience I had with Robert. I was looking for some studio monitor speakers, sound card, and headphones and he was VERY HELPFUL! He had a bunch of knowledge to share and was kind and professional. I would definitely go back and work with Robert on any future purchase. I ended up getting my gear and was super happy about the whole thing. Thank you!
