This small store packs a punch! Large crowd just after Christmas. Extra staff on hand to expedite customers’ needs. Plushies (some reactant to ultraviolet light), figurines, new and used consoles, gaming accessories (such as headphones, keyboards and controllers), gift cards relating to video gaming (as in gift cards for PlayStation, Steam and Nintendo’s MiiVerse). Consoles on hand for short demo games. Ample parking in frontal lot. No bathroom.

Took upper Management sic plus years to get a knowledge team of employees rather than hiring eye candy. Nico is very helpful, always friendly and patient. Couldnt be happier each time I visit. If I moved out of town I would probably go out of my way and still shop at this location because of the consistency in the report I have established with the team members that work here.

Its nice to have an actual store to go to in the days of e-commerce

Niko and Harley are great people. They always take care of me and I can hang out for a bit and chat. They make me feel welcome and I really enjoy going there. The other employees are also very nice too. I just cant recall their names at the moment.

I recently had an unpleasant experience but after knowing that this company has their reps working through a pandemic to service customers deeming themselves as essential and having them bring in their own cleaning products I changed this immediately.Id like to apologize to the rep that was there that day. He was mentally miles away and I wouldve been the same if my company forced me to work.

There have been times that I have gone to make a purchase, not knowing about sales, special offers, or other includes freebees, and the staff always makes sure I get those deals even without asking. Theyre honest about what games are good and what games to avoid. If you have gaming questions, they always have the answers. Great place to shop games and also to trade in games and systems you no longer play.

When in the store theres no problem. In and out, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Although calling with a 10 second question is apparently impossible. Admittedly, I rarely buy new games here. I come here for the used games and occasionally I find some great deals. The staff, in my experience, have always been helpful when Ive had a question.

Go here regularly. Staff know me and my brother. Never had a problem. Extremely nice and respectful. I love going to there midnight release. Always organized. I have been coming here for around 10 years. Only GameStop close to me too. I wish they gave you more money on games but thats not the staff or the manager that has any control over that. Game stop has some good pre order bonuses too. Good clearance section. Also they let me use my brothers rewards becuase i dont have one and thats awesome.

This store has SET PRICES so the only really important thing to review is the customer service.The employees are respectful, helpful & knowledgeable. They are good as far as workers go. That is one thing that will result in a bad rating from me is incompetent worthless workers - I DID NOT EXPERIENCE THAT HERE at all, therefore I give a 5 star rating for the local employees here in Torrington.Just dont get me started on the actual corporation because that would definitely throw those 5 stars out the window..But Torrington Game stop peeps keep up the good work!!

Always have a hard time going here. Tried to trade in a Xbox controller that we bought from Best Buy, there website said trade In value was 14 dollars when we got to the store the told us 8. Disappointing

This GameStop is a great one with polite employees that are willing to help you. The give personal opinions, experiences, etc. Overall it is ran properly, but is kinda small with a huge variety of games.

Glad to see they improved on customer service here from the last time I was here 2-3 years ago. Ill be coming here again when I need a new game for sure

This is a small store as Game Stops go. They have the normal array of selection for games, but dont a have the extras like figurines as the larger stores do. Aside from that, decent store.

A little over priced and small compared most game stops Ive seen, employees werent overly helpful either, it was just starting to snow though so I could kind of understand them being in a mood.

Nyko at this gamestop seems to hate life. Every time we are in the store he acts as tho it pains him to help anyone. Has the worst Attitude ever!! He is the reason your store will lose customers. Phil at this store is awesome. Helps everyone who needs it, with a smile. Even went there when he had already clocked out and he stayed to help me out with a question. They also tell you that your pro card is expired when it is not. and ask you to pay 14.99 even tho you just renewed it 4 months ago.. check your dates people! make sure they dont charge you for something you already paid for and the year isnt even up.

The employees here are very nice and helpful to people who are new to gaming or a parent buying there child a game. The sections are very neat and easy to find games. But there is only one thing i would like if it happened would be a employee puts any game of your choice into the ps4 or xbox one demo consoles and you get 15 mins of playing time on that game to see if you would want to play it.
