Previous owner had delivery of propane set to every month. We specifically called to have deliveries scheduled to every other month because we knew for a fact we wouldnt go through 2 tanks in 1 month. Heck, we wouldnt go through half a tank in 4 months for that matter! Yet, again we get another monthly delivery. Upon calling again, we find out that whoever took our original order changed the interval for only 1 tank and not the other. A careless mistake and certainly not a thorough job here. Have to get your act together and bring those stars up from 2.5. My review is inline with other reviews from what I can see here.

Today, 2/2/19, at 6AM in sub-zero temperature, I phoned Patterson Oil because we were out of oil, which was an error on my part. My call was answered by an answering service since it was so early and a Saturday as well. Within 15 minutes, someone called me back and said he would be at my house shortly to deliver oil. Within 60 minutes of my original call not only did I receive my oil but the Patterson employee was extremely nice and personable. Patterson Oil has a devoted customer for life. Thank you!

HIGHLY recommend this company! When we moved to our house, the serviceman working on our oil furnace helped us locate an electrical problem (off the clock). When we called about propane service, the rep showed up within the hour and helped us dig through the snow to locate the buried tank. All our contacts with them have been pleasant, professional and efficient.

They have always been great with us .. very professional and helpful. One of their oil techs worked on our furnace said he fixed it and charged us .. later that day heat still didnt work.. called Patterson they sent out a new tech and he found the real problem and didnt even charge us for labor or new part.

These guys are the best!! Have helped us out many times!!

Patterson Oil Co is an unethical, unprofessional excuse of a company. Their service is awful, their prices are awful and their business practices are awful. Im so happy that we no longer have to deal with them.

Poor customer service!

Called after being a customer for years and my uncle worked for them many years, told me I didnt need a refill because my usage went down. Sad that a good company went downhill when the brat kids took over.

They have provided oil in my house for 14 years. We had no problems until 3 years ago, when they claimed I didnt renew for automatic delivery and I ran out of oil and they refused to drop the $75 emergency delivery rate. In March of this year I sent a letter by priority mail with signature confirmation (which I have) not to deliver OIL or PROPANE because I am converting to natural gas. They ignored my letter, delivered PROPANE, and sent me a bill. I sent the bill back along with a copy of my prior letter again priority mail with signature confirmation. on June 4. Instead of answering either of my letters, today I received another bill. In addition to my letters I called about this problem several times. If you are looking for an oil company this is not the one to use.

The worst place Ive ever dealt with. Bought their propane tanks and paid for new regulators and 3 out of the 4 were leaking and i lost alot of propane and was treated awful when I tried to resolve this matter with them. They agreed the regulators were defective and not done right but didnt care about compensating the lose of propane I paid for and lost. These people are rude and unprofessional i would never recommend them to anyone.

Patterson Oil Co is not a company you can depend on they never returned my phone call and I requested a for call the latest early afternoon. Im trying to get my project on and going and I feel its rude that I was told Id definitely receive my call its now 12 and still no call, I do not have the time to wait around for a companys non-professionalism.

If I could give them less than one star I would. First they knocked over my mail box and one other, which someone had watched them do, and denied it. Second, they would not deliver propane because there was an inch or so of powered snow on driveway. when asked if they could make a delivery a bit earlier than scheduled delivery, I was denied because I had not completelying ran out of propane. Thirdly, they are discourteous and unprofessional when contacted.

Worst heating company I have ever had to deal with. Customer service is not in their training manual. If you have a problem with anything dont bother calling them about it.

Go back, go back; its a trap!Patterson is the worst, rudest, most unreasonable company in the area. And, they certainly dont need customers, so stay away.

Very unprofessional, rude and down right crooks. Had a payment schedule, always paid on time then they insisted on payment in full - because they can- is what I was told. Left them and will never go back.
