I had a pretty significant water leak in my leased 2018 Ford F150 which required the dashboard and a lot of the interior to be removed. The repair took quite some time but after what was required to complete the repair I can understand the time effort needed. The time without my truck wasnt too disruptive as Townsend ford provided me a vehicle that I could comfortably fit 2 car seats which was appreciated.The service manager and advisor were great in providing me daily updates on my truck and understood my previous frustrations. The repair is has been a success so far and there hasnt been any creeks or squeaks that are normally associated when the dash is reinstalled.I felt confident enough in the repair to purchase my leased vehicle and I am glad to have my truck back
This, by far, is the best Ford dealership in our area. It is very well run, the service dept. is fantastic, and they always follow-up a few days later to make sure you are satisfied and were treated properly.
Brought my wife’s Explorer in for routine service. While examining her vehicle they found an issue with the rear brakes as well as some minor potential problems like wiper blades streaking. We were advised by service advisor Kathy Woodward of what needed to be done and agreed to have it taken care of while the vehicle was there. All work was completed promptly, we picked up the vehicle a few hours later and all ready for winter.

Great service with friendly staff. They kept me updated the entire process. Would have given them 5 stars except it took almost 30 days to get my truck into service. Maybe a good sign that everyone uses them. But it stinks when you really need service.
Personalized sales professionals. They treat you like family. Robyn was knowledgeable, efficient and very friendly. Service needs some improvement though. They didnt know how to reset the myKey account on my new 2020 Ranger. Also the truck bed cover was not installed well and fell out. I had to bring my Ranger to a different dealer to have those things taken care of for $50.
Worst place to get work done.... Got a recall letter for my 2012 Ford Escape for a fuel deliver module flange recall. I thought it was strange cause I had nothing wrong with my car absolutely flawless. Anyways I call get the parts bring it in to have service done just to get my car back with starting problems. I’m mad, oh yes I called back and told them what happened just for a woman to tell me sounds like a coincidence doesn’t it.. I was like blown away at the fact that she would get defensive like that. So I go ahead and tell her, look there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car until I gave it to you guys I want something done about this. That’s not right!! So she goes on telling me well the only thing we’ll do about it is check to see if the recall part is in order other than that you can bring it in to have a symptom check so we can get it fixed. No way would I give them my money that I trusted them with with it being free!!!!
It was great, the customer service rep, Kathy was extremely helpful, she informed of the time requirement to complete the work I requested, and alerted me to rebate offers as well. My vehicle was treated exactly as I expected. Townsend Ford has been terrific!

This dealership is extremely deceitful, I I live 2.5 hours away from them and they had the truck I want in transit, I called up to make a deal, the truck was posted on CarGurus for 55k. I call up to find out they now want sticker 59,810. They refused to honor the price posted, Furthermore I have 3500 in rebates from Ford. So I said just discount the truck 1310 to get down to 55, they told me that wouldn’t be a problem and to drive up. Something didn’t feel right so I called to confirm. They told me they can not discount the truck at all. So basically they just wanted to waste my time.
This is our 4th vehicle purchase from Townsend Ford so far. Each time we we worked with Peter for vehicle our purchases. Peter has always been an exceptional sales person. He is very personable and a delight to work with. The dealership took care of all the paperwork with the RMV and had the new vehicle ready for pickup ahead of schedule. Upon pickup Peter spent almost of an hour with us to familiarize us with the vehicle and went thru virtually feature, explained them and assisted us in adjusting the many driving and safety preferences. The part department is great also. Have purchased many parts over the years to maintain our many used vehicles. A great dealership!

Car CD player was replaced in April 2020, noticed in May 2021 the MP3 player was not working.Townsend Ford did in fact replace the CD Player, and only charged for Labor.I was very satisfied with their commitment to me as a customer, in and out two days, with a new replacement.

It makes me think of the importance of subsidiarity.I was able to witness a member of the staff being compassionate to a customer who was confused. It was heartening to see kindness.There was also a chance to meet people who I knew in the local community there. It felt like home. They are good to their employees this I know. This is not a place where people are making a killing. This is a place where people are making a living. I sound a little over the top but I mean it when I say that this is the kind of small business that makes all the difference in the world. I know that they are really serving their customers, ultimately, out of love.
The Townsend Ford service department was great! I’ve used several other dealerships in the past and have never been truly satisfied. Cathy was my contact and spent a long time and several phone calls helping me setup my Ford Pass Rewards online so I could enjoy the benefits. She was truly a pleasure to deal with. I also met the service manager and spent some time talking to him as well. Very personable and a very nice and knowledgeable guy that’s willing to take the time to talk and get to know the customers. It’s an hour drive for me to get my truck serviced here and I’m happy enough with the service to make that drive every time I need an oil change or any other service! Highly recommend.

I have no words to describe how disappointed I am with this place. Had my 2013 fusion with 220.000 miles on it for an airbag recall, it was supposed to be free but they got me into fix some small problems over the phone. They told me it would cost around $250.00. When I went to pick up my car I had a bad surprise $2,200.00. That’s what they told me I had to pay. I spoke with the service manager and he offered me 10% discount. So I felt like I got robbed. I paid to get my car back, end of story. NEVER EVER AGAIN Townsend Ford, very disappointed. 😞

Very disappointed with my last transaction. This was my 4th new vehicle purchase from the same salesman and I was treated with no respect. A humiliating experience which could have been avoided with one phone call. Instead he sent me home and told me to come back when he called me.

Not a customer, never made 1st contact with them. Over the last few years despite repeated requests to remove my email. They continue to email me as if I am a customer named Dennis Valcourt. They have over time disclosed to me his personal information .I have deleted all emails from them.
If you have a diesel go elsewhere. Bought a year ago. Had glow plug issues. I wanted the timing checked. Mechanic said factory set. It’s not and you can even read that on the Ford website. This was my first service 4000 miles after buying the truck. They love to give common diesel answers without knowing a diesel. I have driven a diesel for the last 12 years and treated me like it was my first one. I came in with a very specific question which they didn’t answer and didn’t even look at. Mechanic didn’t even know there are 3 sensors that lead to glow plug timing. $600+ bill with a bumper to bumper warranty. No one cared except the service manager. So disappointed as this is only 10 minutes from my home. I tell everyone I can to avoid. This happened this last winter and still can’t get rid of the bitterness towards them.

Am always pleased with the service provided at Townsend Ford. They are efficient and up front about how long service appointments may take. Having guest wi-fi available is a definite plus for those of us that do not want to take time off from work.Additionally, given the pandemic, I was impressed with the precautionary measures that they had taken to protect both themselves and their customers.
Ive bought parts from Townsend Ford for a number of years for an F-150, yesterday we bought our first vehicle from them. Our experience was outstanding. Our Salesperson, Stephanie, was knowledgable, helpful, represents the company well, but also, we felt, represented us, the buyer, very well as we worked our way through the deal. What I found particularly impressive is their attention to detail and to make things easy for the customer; as well as their honesty. I have experience with other dealers in the area... specifically, Nashua, Manchester, and Londonderry, Townsend Ford is by far the best of all of them, and probably the best in a much larger area than the area I just described. I look forward to future business with them, and I recommend them unconditionally... its a good place with good people.
Ill tell you what more times than not when youre dealing with a dealership the customer service is usually lacking. However Townsend Ford is the complete opposite. Their staff are not only excellent at what they do they are also very courteous and helpful. From questions being answered to tips and helpful info, even if it doesnt apply to the reason why you are there, they are more than willing to give their knowledge away at no cost. Highly recommend!

Kathy Woodward is one of the service writers and she is very nice, efficient, and knowledgeable. She always tries to schedule my trucks service appointments around my challenging schedule. Every service has been done on-time and well, and there has never been a need for me to bring my truck back to complete the work correctly. Every time, first time, the work is done properly. David Bleckley, the service manager is a great communicator and has excellent follow-through. He was a great advocate for me in trying to resolve a warrantee issue with Ford, and was successful in doing so on my behalf. Tom Cleary, the owner, is also very friendly, accommodating, and seemingly appreciate of his customers. My buying experience was simple, uncomplicated, and positive. Stephanie Alderson was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, all positive.I do have a significant concern considering the current Covid situation. I saw very few employees wearing face masks or gloves. Im older and at risk and was concerned. It made me feel uncomfortable. I did notice that the Service Department is taking precautions in the customer area but I watched the technician who conducted the inspection. He was wearing the usual gloves but no mask and did nothing to sanitize the car when he finished. When he pulled the car out I had to ask him to do the sanitization. He immediately brought out a can of wipes and wiped down the areas he had touched. This did not make me feel confident.
Very easy to schedule an appointment online. Service completed when expected. Did not do any extra work without checking with me first. Happy with service.

The service staff ( Deb and Kathy) are great. My F150 was in for routine service. We are planning a trip to OH to visit a sick family member and want to make sure the truck was ready.While in for service I had them check out a slight smell of coolant. It appears that the truck has a coolant leak on a hose that goes to the turbo.The problem is that parts are not in stock and it is a pretty big job. I went in to the dealership and explained the situation to Deb. She checked on the parts and got the truck on the schedule so it will be ready for the trip or earlier if necessary.Unfortunately the parts and labor are not covered under the ESP warranty we purchased.Small town dealer that cares about their customers.
