She really listened to my desires and budget and was extraordinary in her selections.. she kept my taste front and center and encouraged me to think about different ideas without being pushy. Her personality is warm and friendly and she has a great eye for detail and style. When I wanted to add some artwork Kristen was extremely helpful and her customer service is outstanding. She represents Ethan Allen’s values of exceptional quality, service and fashion forward design.

Bought a nice sofa that was priced appropriately (neither overly expensive or super affordable, medium) and appears to be good quality. White glove delivery right where I wanted it. Took about 3-ish months to get but knew that ahead of time and actually it got here early. Ordering took quite some time as I picked a fabric that was not an option online, but was able to get swatches mailed to me, pick one out and order by calling the local store which was fairly easy. All socially distanced. I recommend and will likely purchase from here again.

My husband and I recently moved into a home weve been remodeling. We added an addition that I was very challenged to imagine how to furnish and decorate. All I knew was the color scheme I wanted. Sue Alessi came out to our home, saw what we were trying to accomplish and literally nailed it! Watch your order they cant get it right. Too expensive for such nonsense. Takes too long to get your order. Watch the delivery men. They will put your furniture together even if the nails are going in the wrong way. Just look over their shoulders!! Not happy with this company at all!!!

I have had nothing but great experiences at Ethan Allen. I met Susan Alessi 6 years ago when renovating our master bedroom and bathroom. We had never been to Ethan Allen prior. Sue made us feel comfortable from the start. She is not pushy, works within a specified budget and really listens to what you want. We showed pictures of our dream bedroom and she pulled it all together from furnishings, paint colors, window treatments and accessories. Master bath she advised on paint and window coverings. Both areas turned out beautiful. Last year we renovated our kitchen and family room areas. Again, Sues work was fabulous. I highly recommend Sue for any design project and look forward to working with her in the future.

Kristin Forster is the best! We wished to update our bedroom condo in Bethany Beach. We live in Annapolis and traveled to Towson store because of Kristen responsiveness to our request for a consultation. We had picked out a bed from the website but had no clue what to do next. Kristin took much time to first understand our needs, goals and personal tastes. What impressed us was her encyclopedic knowledge of the Ethan Allen resources. She impressed us with her competence and the excellence of her suggestions. She has been with Ethan Ellen for 30 years. She seemed sincerely invested in making us happy with our choices. We ended up with a fully furnished bedroom, including artwork, and window treatments. She spent much time with the dimensions of our bedroom making sure everything would work. Kristin made herself available and accommodated our schedule to make it easer to finalize our choices. It was a pleasant experience and fun working with her. Her design advice was invaluable as I was downsizing into a smaller space and trying for a more transitional style while keeping some of my traditional furniture. I am very pleased with the service I have received at Ethan Allen from the greeting you get as you enter to the very attentive service you receive from the designers. My designer, Ms. Lynae Henderson took time to get to tour the store with me to get an idea of the style I like and worked expertly to fulfill the look I was aiming for in my dining room. Needless to say I will be using her service again as I update other rooms in my house.

When we walked into the store we had literally sat upon hundreds of chairs with clear specifications in mind. Sarah helped us focus on two possibilities and ultimately the best chairs to fit those specs. The one thing we had not done is figure if the chairs picked would fit the space well. She offered an in home design visit and with her visit cemented the placement of the furniture in the room with the pieces that we loved there already. She worked with our budget and gave us a 6-8 week delivery window. We were thrilled when the chairs arrived after 2 weeks instead. The whole process was satisfying and we would definitely work with Sarah again. So great to work with someone who listens to what we want.

Rayma Waraich has been great. I visited the store a year ago and ended up very disappointed with the service and the attitude. Came back this year when I met Rayma via e-mail after looking at EA furniture on line. Im integrating new purchases with furniture I currently have and Rayma was able to pull together great recommendations based on what I like and what will go with the items i currently have and want to keep. Maybe I am picky - but Rayma didnt give me a hard time about it. My first delivery is this week - cant wait!!

Kristin has been great to work with on two separate projects: updating our family room and decorating a newly finished basement! She took took the time to understand our vision, worked with the new fixtures we choose and existing pieces such as seasonal pillows we already had, and proposed fabrics that would work with our family and that would stand the test of time. I would never shop here ever again. The total process has been horrific and still have not received everything in 5 months. They could care less about you after your purchase and I spent a lot of money in their store. Would give 1/4th of 1 star if I could. POOR !!

Back in Nov of 2019 my wife wanted to redecorate our living room with some New furniture. After what I thought was some careful research we decided to give Ethan Allen @ 8727 Loch Raven Blvd in Towson, MD a try. Let me say upfront Never Again.After several meetings with one of the designers Mary we chose a Sofa, Chair and Two custom Side made side pillows with the option of possibly ordering an Ottoman or Coffee-table once the furniture was delivered to see how it would all come together.Approximately 6 to 7 weeks into the project I hadnt heard from Mary so I decide to call her on her contact number. She informed me that she was No longer working for E A and was no longer in the Towson store. She also told me that ethically she could NOT contact me and say she was NO longer with E A. However, she did say It was the Stores responsibility to contact me and follow up on the design, progress, delivery and help with the added Ottoman or Coffee-table should we decide to purchase it. That never happened. To say the least I was very disappointed that she left and Very Very disappointed that NO One from the Towson store cared enough to call us about Mary nor did they follow up with her design and our purchase.When I called the store I spoke with Barbara. She assured me that she would pick up where Mary left off and help us with delivery, the 2 custom pillows and the added Ottoman/Coffee table if needed.Needless to say it went down hill from there. Each and every time I called I spoke to a different person and received different information. Returned phone-calls to me were very infrequent and never with the correct information. It was very frustrating.In early Jan i was informed that only one pillow came into the store and I could come and pick it up. I asked if I could wait until the 2nd pillow comes in so I could pick up both pillows up at the same time. NO Problem I was told. A few days later I received a call that BOTH pillows had come in. Within a few days of that call while I was driving near Towson I called the store and asked if I could come in and pick up both pillows. I was told “there must be some mistake because only one pillow had come in”.The so-called expected time frame for both pillows to arrive at the store would be the week of Jan 13th-17th. Unfortunately for me the second pillow never came in. BTW these two small pillows cost me over $400.00.On Jan 24th our furniture arrived. The delivery men and their customer service was simply the best. They were professional, nice and answered my questions. Unlike the women in the Towson Ethan Allen store.In the days that followed I made a few more calls regarding the pillows and all I got was the same old answer. “The second pillow is still not in and no answer as to when they expect it in.In Feb, nearly 12 Weeks after my original order was placed and a lot of frustration I once again called the store hoping for some good news. The woman I spoke to (sorry I dont have her name) proceeds to tell me The reason your pillow is delayed, they ran out of fabric and they are trying to find more of it. At this point i am really upset. When I asked her why, after nearly 3 month and all the back and forth phone calls was I not at least given the correct and truthful reason the pillow was not in? Her response was, I needed to understand that sometimes things just happen. Not having the original designer and not having enough material to finish the job was a good reason. It was one excuse after the other. Needless to say we had a heated discussion. She even had the nerve to tell me. If your not satisfied you can always go on Google and leave a bad review. So I took her advice and Here I am.Feb 19,20 I am still waiting for the second pillow.As for me, only time will tell if this furniture is any good. But in no NO WAY I would go back and buy the Ottoman and or coffee table from the Towson store. So if I were you, Stay away from the Ethan Allen Store in Towson, MD. Go buy it somewhere else.

Kristin has done a beautiful job helping us update our home over the past couple of years, finding new pieces that work with items we treasure and bringing a fresh new look to our home. She got our style immediately and it has been a pleasure to work with her.

I recently called the store to discuss an issue from a recent purchase. I had the misfortune of speaking to the Design Project Manager (Jill Lechner)- Disgusting demeanor. She spoke very condescendingly to me about a store related purchase. Her tone was extremely sarcastic. When I called back to request her supervisor info, I got bounced around and she was suddenly unavailable. I did discover that, of all things, she is the store manager (Towson, Loch Raven Blvd). She was very dismissive and hung the phone up, very abruptly, when we did speak. This was not at all what I considered to be a professional or courteous representation of the Ethan Allen Ive grown accustomed to. She was HORRIBLE. As a result of this interaction, I canceled a furniture purchase. I wont be returning and Ill encourage my friends, family and readers to follow.

Worst customer service, ever. Bought a couch and loveseat from this location. Loveseat was damaged and unable to be repaired. A request for a replacement was completely IGNORED. This ordeal has gone on for 7 months. Unreliable furniture at premium prices. Ethan Allen seems to be worried more about profit margins than satisfying customers. Our last purchase from them, period. Have since discovered Wayfair online. Much cheaper and if you have any issues, returns are a breeze.

Our Ethan Allen personal designer was and remains to be Mary Alves of the Towson, MD showroom.From the very first time we contacted Ethan Allen and met Mary to the final delivery and placement of our furniture and rugs, we have been extremely pleased with her.Very soon after we first spoke with Mary, she visited our house in the late afternoon and expertly measured and quickly drew a perfect sketch of our family room which included her suggested designs and also her added idea of an area rug. We asked her to look at some other rooms and she again measured them, giving ideas of what to remove and where to place everything in each room. She measured and suggested 2 more area rugs for the living room and master bedroom.In the morning the very next day in the showroom, Mary shared a precisely expert computerized image of the family room designswhich she had already prepared (obviously at home the evening before), including her original sketch of the layout she first designed. She included the home visits suggested additional selections to replace some of our current furniture and also the precise placements of everything. The image presented a beautiful new family room design.We then observed pictures and samples and using our own and her ideas, we selected everything and also added protection plans.Mary then itemized the cost of each selection and the total cost.She gave us printed copies of every detail of the entire process.We signed a contract and she told us specific instructions of what to do and what to expect, including estimated delivery dates. We accomplished the total purpose of our visit.Mary is very pleasant, professional, assuring, quick, exact, a creative designer, and amazingly efficient!Her time frames for each item which included email updates were almost perfect.We simply love all of our always unique and beautiful Ethan Allen selections and wonderful customer service from Mary and Ethan Allens entire team throughout the entire process until all was exact and complete.Thank you so much for making this experience extremely satisfying. We plan to, and already have planned, continuing using Ethan Allen for products and designs.

Ordered sofa bed and love seat in Dec 2015.sofa bed crushed in front. Ethan Allen replaced the sofa bed and the replacement has the same design error and it too has now a crushed front. We didn,t expect this kind of problem from this high priced furniture store.

Everything is from China now. What ever happened to American furniture?

The couch I ordered was ready ahead of time, delivery was scheduled a week out for a three hour window. A day before the time was narrowed to an hour. I received a call in that hour telling me the delivery would occur in 40 minutes and it happened. Have nothing but high praise for every aspect of this experience!
