It was empty and fast for my husbands appt. Eye exam went smoothly and glasses are ordered.
Dont even bother going there. First, on a positive note, the receptionists were great, great customer service. Did the pre-screen, the experience up until this stage was nothing but great.Had some experience with the doctor, she needs to get audited, and evaluated because she didnt seem like an individual that even does her due diligence. Bottom line, she literally took the estimated eyesight information from the pre-screen machineand randomly gave me a prescription. Ive been going to eye doctors for 26 years, never experienced anything like this.1. Doctor calls me in her office. Tells me that patients get 30 minutes session with her. So, I have 30 minutes.2. Tells me to keep my mask on at all times because shes not trying to catch corona virus. She lives with her mother whos 70 years old. Therefore, shes extra careful.3. She tells me to look at the viewfinder. Since the mask was on, every time I was breathing, the viewfinder was getting foggy.4. She tells me not to get too close to the viewfinder, and keep a distance so that it doesnt get foggy. Then tells me to read. Now Im reading with pretty much both of my eyes although one eye shouldve been closed.5. She asks me if I can read, I try to explain whats going on. She tells me I cant follow instructions. Im a military veteran. If I cant follow her instructions, not sure how regular civilians do it.6. Finally, she told me that based on her examination, she can tell that my eyesight on my right eye is stronger than left eye. But again, it was all bluff as I did not read almost anything in one eye, both my eyes were open when I was reading thru viewfinder.7. She gives me a prescription, almost exactly identical from my last prescription. I reconciled her prescription with the pre-screen information too.8. Doctor came back asking if I had looked at the glasses from her store yet. Told her I buy my glasses online.Just a waste of time. Management needs to evaluate her. Theres going to be a level of risk because of covid 19. But if she has personal issues being her 70 years old mom at home, then she should stay home. I need my eyesight to perform my job well as I am a government employee that provides public service. My eyesight is important to make sure that I do my job properly so that the tax payers dont waste their money by paying my salary from their pocket.
I had a 6:00 PM appointment and I arrived 15 min early, figured I had to fill out forms. While sitting there filling out the forms a walk-in customer comes in. The greeter brings her back and hands her the same forms. The Optometrist asks the greeter is she screening the customers before sending them to her. The greeter then asks the walk-in customer to come and go with her, the walk -in customer clearly states that she, referring to me was here first. The greeter looks at me and still instructs the walk-in customer to follow her and proceeds to take the walk-in client to a back area. I advise the Optometrist that I am her 6:00 PM appointment, the Optometrist advises the greeter that I am the customer with the appointment. The greeter then states that she, meaning me was still filling out her paperwork. Now mind you the greeter never asked me if I had completed the paperwork she just assumed that I wasnt finished. If the greeter would have asked I was actually finished but was just reviewing the paperwork. I politely got up, took my paperwork and proceeded to leave. I advised another greeter to tell them thank you but no thank you and left. I left because one I was the customer with the appointment, and two even if I wasnt finished filling out the forms, the walk-in customer hadnt even begin to fill out her forms which means I had more of my form filled out then the walk-in customer did and how you going to take a walk-in customer before you take the customer who actually took the time to make an appointment and was on time and three I so hate disorganization. Ive taken my vision benefits and my dollars to another vision provider.
I needed a pair of glasses in May 2019 and received first class service from Dr. Jill Asch. She treated me with great care and offered straight forward advice. Keep up the great work Dr. Asch and I highly recommend a pay increase for your excellent customer care.
