The reason why im giving this a 2 star is because I had bought a 20$ steam gift card and it did not work they did not give me my receipt so i went back and asked can you help me activate my card Ive had this problem many times with many stores they just swiped it again and it worked like new. But not these guys they told me it automatically activates, I understand that but if it doesnt work then something went wrong and they told it was their policy for no refunds or returns, I wasnt asking for either one of those I was just simply asking if they could activate it I emailed steam support and they even told me it wasnt activated and to go back to the store and get activated so I did i rode my bike about a mile to get there and a mile to get back, I was really disappointed In this store today Because usually they make sure all of their cards work because its sorta Not fair for the customer its sorta like I paid for nothing. But I wasnt expecting to get nothing i was expecting to get my 20 Dollar Steam credit So all Im saying is its a good store but just dont buy any Virtual Cards from there and the employees, some of them are nice some of them arent, like the Guy I talked too today i was trying to get it resolved over the phone so I didnt have to ride all the way there and back again but the 2 time I called to try and tell them that steam (the company that makes the cards) Was telling me it wasnt activated And to go back to the store and get it activated and they hung up on me mid sentence. So I called back and as soon as they heard my voice hangs up on me so I had to ride my bike down there and get it fixed and still never got it fixed. So Im down 20$ but i wont be buying any virtual cards from there again and I advise nobody else buy it from here either because I hate to see people lose their money.

PARENTS IN TRACY, BUY CONSOLES HERE!This GameStop is the best one Ive been to in Tracy and areas surrounding. The staff was helpful on my call prior to coming in. I wanted to know different console options and price. When I went in to the store they helped me right away and even laid out warranty options without being pushy. They didnt say any sales pitch lines. They genuinely helped me make a big purchase. When I asked about which games to get, they answered genuinely and were never condescending about my game preferences.

If you pre order Funko Pops, collectibles, or console accessories like new controllers, expect a large delay, the only thing they seem capable of keeping pre orders in check is the games because its worldwide release date. But when I pre ordered a few funko pops its been pushed back even further and they told me I wont get it until about 2 weeks from now, and also again, I pre-ordered the new PS5 color controller, and they told me they havent received anything and it all depends when their shipment is received like if you announce a released date, shouldnt you already have stock ready of that item, or is Pre-Order just a big fib to be honest... For real, get this stuff together for this store on things like these, its just annoying

Worst Gamestop in cali! They Never call for preorders. Employees are scalpers. Ive had an employee there tell me that they keep the Chase funko pops for themselves.

Friendly employees knowledgeable about products and able to assist with location of items I wished to purchase.

Customer service was good but a lot of their prices are a bit much and when u trade in things, be it for cash or money, dont expect much. Their collectibles are pretty cool and they have some awesome variety. I tend to only buy used games not new ones as it is just too much from them.

This is my sons go to store for all his gaming needs. They have a very wide selection of games old/used, new, preorder, kids games, games for girls, wide selection of game systems. Employees are very knowledgeable about every aspect of the gaming system world. Prices are not too bad tho sales are very reasonable.

Ordered during covid and the sign said order from their website and pick up in store. I did that and they watched me wait outside for 15 minutes for them to bring out my controller and they never did they just closed up the store and left.

Was looking for a PS3 pre-owned game and the staff found it easily and really made the experience enjoyable. Very happy I went to this location.

A bit on the small side but a good place to go to get the gaming gear that I need. Employees are also ready to help you and are willing to strike up a conversation.

Ive gone to this GameStop multiple times while living here in Tracy. If you know what youre looking for you can go in and out within about 5 minutes. But you may end up staying there longer due to how kind and friendly they are there. Its a nice place to stop and find your stuff.

Expect elitists and the new crew telling you what you should buy instead of what you wanted. Expect to have your pre orders sold to somebody else and never get what you wanted or paid for. Expect to be disappointed, infuriated and bitter afterwards. The only person that attempted to save any bit of credibility that this place had was Josh and even then it left a gritty taste in my mouth and leaving me dissatisfied. I absolutely WILL NOT come to this store after my final purchase. Gamestop prestige where the only thing they excel at is severe disappointment.

Staff was quick and friendly

They have a lot of mini pop figures and not so much games. When I went in there some lady was haggling for more money and told her son that she couldnt afford to get him the controller. It was very awkward.

Always get the best of service from the guys....here at Gamestop...not to mention they take the time to know your name...and your likes/dislikes in the gaming arena. It helps to just walk in and they already pretty much know what you are looking for :-)

I called to ask a question about ordering the psvita and talked to a employee named Nicole..she was very unprofessional! When I told her I was having trouble buying the psvita on line she said well I dont know what to do for you! Wasnt helpful at all! Then I asked to speak to a manager hoping she would be more helpful but she was worse!! Her name was Selena. Can we say very very low customer service skills. I will not go back to gamestop in Tracy ever again because of how low there customer service is. To bad, they lost a customer and money! Best Buy and Amazon here I come!!:) customer service is the main thing to look for and if you cant give great customer service you shouldnt be in busy!! You will no longer get business!!
