Joanns is very expensive, but I went while they had a lowest prices of the season, event. I got 8 yards of fleece, and it was honestly nowhere near as expensive as I expected. I got 2 very pretty patterns, and I honestly love them both so much, theyll be perfect. The store is VERY well-kept, clean, and well-organized. It is also very easy to find all that you need, and everyone there is very friendly and very helpful. Cannot give any higher praise. Thanks, Joann

Hours online and on their recording are listed as 9am-9pm. Parking lot full of customers and store is CLOSED. Nothing noted on doors, no one answers phone AND customer service is only available Monday-Friday. Placed an online order to be picked up in-store. Drove 30 minutes and here we sit. Why cant companies be responsible & keep (or update) their POSTED HOURS?!

Ordered fabric on line. One of the pieces I wanted was only at the store in Traverse City. They only had 8 yards. A few days later I went, I could not find it. One of the associates located it. Yay!!

2 star is a review only for flannelHave been buying flannel for last 7 years from Joann making flannel lap size quilts for our local cancer center for the winter season, But this season I’m finding a change in the selection and very disappointed. I was told by sales staff that there was a change in where they buy the fabric now. Very sad, will have to find somewhere else

A good assortment of crafting and hobby supplies, especially fabrics. Read the fine print (exclusions) on their coupons as a good number of highly desired items are on there. They also have a large selection of already discounted items.

The cashier, Gen was very helpful. In a side note to Joann headquarters or whoever sends the texts with the coupons, if its a one day coupon please send them out before 1 pm. Some people go out shopping in the morning.

We had fun looking for items my daughter wanted. I thought the selection of fabric/sewing items and crafts were more balanced than the last time I was in and couldnt believe how much wasnt sewing related.

The employees are always super nice and helpful and I love going to this store for that reason. However they are a bit pricey and even when something like a wood sign is 70% off, its still like $35! But they always have great coupons and good sales.

Came here to purchase some string to restring a pearl necklace. Had a nice time looking around at the different isles, the place was very organized, n well kept.The ladies there that helped me were in a very cheerful mood, which is always a plus for me when I go places, make a my visit more pleasing.

Clean and store is organized and easy to navigate. Staff are plentiful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Shopped there recently for wedding related items and staff quickly answered questions. Pricing seems reasonable.

Love this store though I always have a hard time getting someone to answer a question. Pricing isnt always posted clearly. But they always give you the best coupons & the cutting counter is usually very quick!

I wish this place did not have such long lines both for getting fabric cut and for checking out. I cannot get internet in the store if I want to check yardage for a pattern on my phone. I think the store would be more inviting if it were not so cluttered. However, except for a couple of specialty quilt shops, its the only such store around for sewing supplies even if it is on the far side of town for me.

One of the larger JoAnns Ive been in. Well organized. Wide selection. Good sales. Nice sales people. One tip: Take a number at the cutting table to get your fabric cut when you first walk in, then go find your fabric while those ahead in line are getting theirs cut ;)

Offers a nice variety of most items, but the biggest reason I give them 5 stars ... they go out of their way to help you find multiple coupons during the check-out process, which their competitor, Michaels, do not allow. Saving you even more money. They dont always carry all the items in-store thier competition carry, but you can order online. Cashiers are much much more friendly as well. Great customer service!

Aisles are so close together and merchandise on the floor that we couldnt go down several aisles with a wheel chair. This is NOT a wheelchair friendly store. When we spoke to the manager about it, her reponse well the company sends us all this and it has to be put out. Disappointed this was a favorite store of my mom in law and now she feels she should find a new material store.

Jane was very helpful over the phone! I am coordinating my wedding reception from Denver and she was very helpful and found something for me in the store. She offered to put a 24-hour hold on it for my mom to pick up tomorrow. Great customer service!

I went into this store on the hopes that they had what I was looking for. Because you would think a crafts store, of all places would have everything you need to make a mask, or Pre-cut Latch Hook Rug Yarn...Well now im kind of force to buy it off line at sites like aliexpress, in the hopes that its a match.

If you want great deals you have to sign up for the email and mail coupons, but it is worth it in the long run. The prices are the best in town and the selection is above par. Another trick is to find the fabric rolls that have enough but are almost empty and get the extra yard or two to get to the end (automatic half off because then it counts as a remnant :)

People were nice. They didnt have specific item i was looking for but its a clean store with friendly associates. What more do you need to know? Haha kind of ridiculous to review a fabric store 🤷

I like JoAnn Fabrics because they have a good selection of craft and fabric supplies. This store however, has poor customer service. I never take the time to review stores, but I have been repeatedly frustrated with this store. I have called a number of times over the last few years. Whenever I do, I am put on hold for a long time, greeted with unfriendly staff, who are generally not very helpful. I recently ordered something that was going to ship to this store from another in state store. I called to check on the status of that order and was told that I would have been called if my order had come in. The lady who was helping me, never offered to check and see if maybe the order was already there, she didnt offer to check on the shipping status, nothing. Basically told me to stop bothering her. I think this is just really poor customer service.In addition every time I go into this store, the staff is not overly helpful or friendly. The cutting counter always has a line and people are always leaving for their breaks when there are 5-6 customers waiting at the counter. Very frustrating for the customers.

Extremely long lines. 3/3 times went in for something that should be quick but was stuck there for 45 minutes. Avoid going in there at all costs. Will just buy online going forward.

Ive always joanns so course the quality is the same. The amount of product in stock is fairly good and they often have great sales.

Everything is overpriced unless you use a really good coupon, and then its merely reasonable. The cutting counter is sometimes good and sometimes awful. When its awful, they use dull scissors and dont spend enough time to ensure a straight cut; Ive had fabric come out quite trapezoidal rather than rectangular. Usually theres a substantial wait to get anything cut, and then another wait to check out, because they need to hire more people. But if you need fabric besides cotton, theyre really the only game in town. I like to make trips to Fields Fabrics downstate for fabric, and I buy my notions from Boyds on South Airport because their regular prices usually beat Joanns with a good coupon.Joanns earned one extra star because the staff is usually helpful and nice.
