Customer service was great and helped me with my decision on which machine to choose.

As a husband of a crafter I am drug to many stores this is the best I have been. The ladies were super nice, the store has a nice feel.

Took my month old singer machine in and unfortunately it was done for. I was able to return it to Joanns and come back to buy a better machine. Even though they were very busy, Scott took his time to go over all the different types of machines they have. I was shown how to thread my new machine and the basic use of it. They were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Ive been taking my sewing machines to CS Sewing for repairs for years. They have always been fast, reasonably priced, professional, and personable. I am now in the market for a new machine and will be purchasing it from Scott and Jennifer because they are extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell (and their staff is too!) and I know with their help I will find the machine that suits my needs perfectly. If I didnt live too far away I would be taking advantage of their great classes also!

My wife and I have bought several machines from Scott and CS sewing over the past few years. We use them for all of our sewing machine needs. Our most recent purchase included 2 industrial machines. Scott did the research and acquired the best machine for our application. There is something to be said about buying from a local store with a knowledgeable staff. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

We took a machine there, one with great sentimental value, and was told it was irreparable so just junk it (said part needed was longer available). This was after I explained why this machine was so very important to us. And not to mention the lady we dealt with wasnt very nice during either of our visits. There was a young gentleman there who looked like he was embarrassed by her behavior, but said nothing. I decided to seek a second opinion and took it to a place in Caddilac. They repaired the machine and did a complete cleaning/service for a humble total of only $125. I was beyond ecstatic. I have no plans to ever do business at CS sewing again.

Recently the embroidery component on my sewing machine refused to work. I called CS Sewing immediately. The members of the CS Sewing Team were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional AND friendly!We talked through several possible solutions. I truly appreciate all of the time and assistance. We travel from Flint to Traverse City to buy our machines and for maintenance . After having bought from local dealers and having my machines damaged by repairs it is well worth the travel. I find all the staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I also appreciate the fact that repair service is always on site and working, I can call ahead make an appt. and get one day service.

I am unable to review the work they do as far as sewing machines, and Im not sure I ever will. I stumbled across this store as I was on my way to buy fabric. Because my machine was acting up, I decided to go in and see if they could help me. About 2 sentences in to our conversation with the woman at the desk, her whole demeanor changed. I dont know if it was because I am young and not as experienced in machines, or if she was misreading what I was saying, but her words became short, and her tone was patronizing. Her facial expression was a mix between annoyance, and judgemental. As someone who has worked in customer service for around 10 years, I can say that I have never treated a customer that way, not even when they were rude, or disrespectful. It was extremely off-putting, to the point that I may take my machine elsewhere and pay extra, in order to avoid being treated the way I was there. I very much hope that this isnt a common occurrence at this business.

I live out of state and always bring my machine to get serviced there and try to buy all my supplies there. Everyone so helpful here.
