Very beautiful place to game. Surprised it was dead on a Friday night around 10pm. If we would have gotten there earlier, I would have played a few board games. I did find a board game I bought that I hadn’t seen anywhere else. I was glad they had games to buy as well as rent. I will be back! It has a homey den type feel and the bathroom is clean. Chairs look very comfortable and everything is intriguing and draws you in. I enjoyed the posters of the games on the walls with their great graphic design and the blue light that had flames above it. I really wish this was in my town. There isn’t a place there to rent games in that city. Or a nice clean, well designed place to game. $10 a week per game rentals are very reasonable, especially if you want to try out a pricey game without blowing $100 plus bucks then finding out you don’t like it!

This is a great place to spend a few hours or a whole evening. Tabletop Underground has a HUGE selection of games to choose from and the staff can teach you how to play ALL of them. The retail selection is also a great combo of some of the classic, go to titles to some interesting and exciting titles that you dont usually find in stores. The price for admission (play all you want, all day) and rental (a whole week) is so reasonable! Ill keep coming back as long as theyll let me.

My friends and I love coming to tabletop underground. Its so nice to have so many board game options to play!! Definitely a highlight and a must if you and your family love board games!

So many awesome board games to explore, try and conquer! Huge selection for play in house or to rent and take home at a great rate, the also have a unique selection of retail games! Owners are very knowledgeable and happy to help pick a good game or explain the rules! Very cool addition to downtown Traverse city for those who enjoy a good tabletop game!

Had a wonderful time at Tabletop Underground. Teaching board games is a tough thing to do, but they did a wonderful job explaining games in a way that is welcoming to everyone and every level of player. Highly recommend. Ill be back!

For sure the highlight of our trip to Traverse City. Our kids had a wonderful time and so did we. The staff did such a great job making sure we had a great experience, explaining rules to us and the kids. I cant recommend it more!
