Great place to shop for everything! It has a great selection of meats if you are a serious cook. A great selection of fresh vegetables too, got sugar snap peas which were really fresh and tender. And on Wednesdays they have sushi specials which are pretty good.

This is a great place for one stop shopping! They have everything you need. The customer service is just amazing. If you cant find something, just ask. Everyone there is very helpful. I just loved the large selection of fresh produce.

They started out with a great supply of Halloween costumes, decorations and candy. There wasnt much left by the last week of October. Nice selection of Fall decorations and Christmas displays.

Meijer is the best place to shop in the area. I do almost all my shopping there because they have a great selection, reasonable prices (with extensive sales every week), and a friendly staff. In addition to groceries, their multiple departments carry just about everything I shop for, so one-stop-shopping is easy. The store gets very crowded, especially during tourist season, but if you go early in the day it’s fine.

They they have an amazing deal on board games by 2 for 20 get one free I got a d&d game as my extra was awesome!

Was treated very rudely by the greater people. Even threatened to have the police be called and detained overnight, because a beeper went off because the cashier didnt remove a tiny bar thing on some scrunchies. They checked the receipt and everything was fine even had the bar removed and was allowed to leave. They terrified my 10 year old sister and cousin with their yelling and threats. Over a mistake by one of their osm cashiers. Maybe be a little nicer next time and atleast apologize after falsely accusing someone of wrongdoing. Meijers isnt the problem, just the two older greaters who dont even great you and are just mean.

The scan and shop option is very convenient. Made the time at the self check out minimal. It was good to be able to go in shop, bag as I shopped and check out without having to handle the products multiple times.

Great store with lots of selection. Seems that they have recently reduced staff which can make finding items a challenge. Items not being moved to the front of the shelf means you also have to search the dark, back recesses of lower shelves to find items.

Good store, well organized. Love the 15 minute parking option up front, too. So much better than WalMart, wish we had a meijer closer to where we live!

I was able to find everything I needed but many thing when they are not on sale can be expensive. Of course my A2 milk is only at Meijer so I still go frequently. Walmart has cheaper frozen fruit though. But I prefer meijer for fresh fruit and vegetables.

While the general lay-out of the store varies per area, this Meijer was quite a bit backwards from what we are used to. After several trips around the store, our short list was complete. The isles were wide, clean and the area well maintained, however there was no sense of flow to the store.

A bustling store with all your needs from soup to nuts to hats to cats ; food that is! 👍

They have a surprising selection of U.K. products. Pretty yummy looking deli. Inexpensive sushi. Pharmacy, barbershop, nail salon, Starbucks and Huntington.

Seriously this Meijers does not hold a candle to other stores that I have been to. Mushy moldy berries brown bananas I never saw a Meijer have that put out for sale until the Traverse City Meijer.

Great place to find a array of items almost anything you need to make a amazing meal or even everyday stuff like beds couches cloths you name it they probably have it in some form not everything but a good amount!

Everything you need at great prices and I really love the scan as you shop now! I bring my own bags, scan as I go, load into bags as I shop, then at the end you scan a QR code that uploads your cart, pay and go! So easy and convenient. Im not sure why all stores dont do this yet+

This Meijer is not very clean, never stocked or out of most of the items that I purchase. The produce is hit or miss.. The bathrooms are filthy and smell terrible. The bright side is the staff is friendly.

Very fresh produce and great prices on many staple food items. I dont like the pricing for garments, doesnt show actual prices. Shows inflated price then says 30%or more off. Bringing it to a somewhat ok price sometimes. Dont like trying to figure the cost of items before buying, no markdown prices.

Best Produce In Town! They even beat the local chains. They have even the hard to find fruits and specialty vegetables needed for cooking.

Overshopped, poorly stocked and abysmally managed. More than half the time I go here to pick up specific items those items are out of stock and will sometimes remain out of stock for a week or more. The management of this location makes very little effort to keep popular items in stock or on the shelves. This is not a new problem but has definitely increased as more and more shopping services utilize this location. When the shelves are being restocked the store feels more like a warehouse than a grocery store. Employees and contractors litter the aisles with carts and empty boxes. They have recently redesigned the self checkout to resemble a cattle chute. They do not enforce existing mask mandates. Shopping here is a dehumanizing and frustrating experience.

Rude staff we were in shopping and ran into our sister we step away from other customers and we’re talking with our masked down because she couldn’t hear us a very rude employee came up and told us to put our masks up we explained we would as soon as we were done talking he then told us if we didn’t pull it up now he would have to ask us to leave. We were not hurting anyone or even near another customer. I usually shop there for my business once a week but from now on I will stick to store that aren’t rude. Very bad business practices.

Nothing I enjoy more than waiting in the line for the pharmacy and having to smell cigarette smoke from the employee smoking. Not his fault necessarily but Meijer do you really have to put their smoking area next to a waiting area for your customers

Completely disorganized covid vaccine experience. No one guiding the hoards of people coming in EARLY for their appointment when the rules are to come in at exact time of your appointment, not before! No distancing at the check in. Vaccine syringes just sitting in a plastic bin on the table. GET IT TOGETHER!

Much better than Walmart but its often very crowded and the cashiers can be extremely slow depending on who is checking you out. The greeters however need better customer service skills. They absolutely do not know how to talk to people or check receipts without being aggressive about it.

Going to the store has become a hassle. Now we shop using apps online. The only problem is that they cant seem to keep freshpet in stock. 🙁Other than that, its a great store with great prices.

I was in the Traverse City Meijer today. I witnessed (2) people without masks talking to one another in the fresh produce section. I went about doing the rest of my shopping avoiding that area hoping they would be done talking briefly but when I returned about 15/20 mins later they were still there carrying on. I wasn’t able to go down the isle or really felt comfortable going into the whole section they occupied because I didn’t want to risk exposure. I didn’t want to purchase any of the produce from that area after the extended exposed to these (2) people not wearing masks. So you lost sales so these people could have a social hour in your store without masks contaminating the produce for a lot of people. I notified staff of the people not wearing masks thinking they would insist they wear a mask if they would like to continue shopping in the store (they are provided for free at the entry well done there) or they could also take advantage of the curbside and delivery options if they don’t want to wear a mask. I was informed the staff cannot do anything? This is a public safety issue. You sell food. In my years of food service and handling this is astounding and unacceptable that this is even in question. People aren’t even allowed inside most places but you can’t ask people to leave if they aren’t wearing a mask? People have to wear a shirt. They have to wear shoes..food service employees have to wear gloves. It isn’t about personal freedom but public safety. Why isn’t my food I buy at your grocery store treated with safety standards? If this is how Meijer deals with a pandemic in the front of house I’m scared to see the back of house operations. I am concerned about how you treat the rest of your food safety measures. I think I might start shopping at Tom’s or Olsen’s from now on.

No wonder Walmart cant compete with this chain in MI! Wow - they have a wider selection of goods in just about every category including groceries - and quality items outpace Walmarts cheaper goods. Wish we had this chain in AZ!

Been going there for years. Every single time, they are ways out of something or the item I need is on the top shelf pushed so far back that I cant reach it. The lines are so long that I started to set my phone timer. Takes 20 min to get through. That means no ice cream. If they had baggers it would be so much faaster.

Has the best produce in all of Traverse City. The store is always clean and you can usually find somebody help you find whatever you need. Walmart may have some cheaper stuff but this place has or quantity of better stuff. Really for your buck I think this is the best place to shop in town. I took Pictures of some of the produce that I bought. The big prickly one is called a jackfruit which my family will try tomorrow. It is a very large store can be very busy at times and sometimes a lines are long. Still for your buck this is the best place in town for quality good grocery whatever else you need. In the Spring he open up their outdoor department who have lots of selection of lovely flowers and shrubbery. I also like their new program for a grocery delivery I have not tried it yet but I have friends who have and they said it is quite nice.

Meijers sells the low carb bread brand Solas now in the bread section(not the freezer section). This is awesome for those on keto.
