Its a Traverse City institution. My familys favorite place for casual desert. It is so quaint and great value. Favorites are the malts, cosmo and hot fudge & marshmallow sundae. Love the t-shirts too but they sell out quick.

Good prices. Fast service. Tasty treats. Minus the drunks you have to wait in line with.

We had a full day of eating and drinking in Traverse City. Was ice cream necessary? No, but it was so good. There was a long line but the staff were friendly and worked fast. I had a milkshake, it was quiet tasty. I love the sign and the vibe at this place. It’s definitely a local joint!!

I visited here in the summer while in Michigan. I really enjoyed Dairy Lodge, it was super yummy and the staff was very nice! Remember to bring cash!

Dairy Lodge was reccomend to me by a 5th grader in February and she said that it is her favorite place for icecream in TC. Her extended family owns it and the girl was so excited to tell me everything she knew about it. Naturally I had to give it a go. Im hooked, my husband is hooked, my 4 kids love it. It is one of our favorite places in TC. Bring your cash!

Just fun and yummy. The hot fudge brownie royale is insane! Huge!!! Id reccomend chocolate ice cream with it for a total overload! :) Death by chocolate but youll be smiling! Great flurries too. Remember, they only take cash or checks; no plastic. :)

Prices a bit high parking is horrible but icecream is fantastic and thats what matters!😋

Change time to reflect closing. You would think the would keep normal hours for at the very least Labor day weekend. I was not the only person turned away.

My husband stopped here to get ice cream for me on Mother’s Day and had the worst experience. After receiving our first item he was waiting for our second item and it never came. Instead of helping they just ignored and when asked he told them we were waiting for our slush they again ignored him until he decided to leave. We are residents of the neighborhood and we will be sharing our experience with friends and not returning.

Got med sundae. It was perfect and the price was very reasonable. Enjoyed it so much I bought a second sundae and took it to my husband in assisted living.

Took forever, got my order wrong.

I am not impressed with this place at all. We order what we want and we go to pay to be told that they only accept cash. I have two little girls who I had to load into the car crying because they didnt get the ice cream we ordered. Nowhere on the Facebook page or website nor located at there location is there a post or memo saying they only accept cash! I would not recommend this place unless you feel like being disappointed.

Very good old school ice cream shop near West Bay Beach in Traverse. The soft serve cones are huge. Price is fair. Definitely have a great product. Can get crowded so might have to wait at times.

We drive up from Grand Rapids just for their malts. Made with real fruit and nice and thick.

Great place for the full range of ice cream treats also offers chiillie dogs. Close to the dog park so that is often the best parking option.
