Been going to Comic Lair since it opened, back when I was only 4 or 5 years old. Great inventory. Very knowledgable. If you are into comics, playing strategy card games, and anything in that culture, then Comic Lair is a place you MUST check out. Also Im not sure if they still do it since I havent been there for years, but Chad always held after hours card battling games, such as Magic the Gathering for people who are into the game. Great people. Again, this place is a must for anyone interested in comic shops

Change your store hours,if your not going to be ipeb or at least put a funny sign up saying sleepingcome back later, wasted my time & gas vomming here on a monday. What a waste 12pm not even open lol.

We love Chad, he is super friendly and talking to him when picking up comic has been my partners favorite thing. I might not be a comic nerd, but I can still check out what they have to offer since there are so manything that get me wow

A shop with a lot of inventory, but I did not want to stay very long. Owner was without a mask, though friendly and helpful. The store was overcrowded with inventory. Will likely come back and leave an edited review once mask mandates are lifted.

What a nice guy Chad is... I happened to be visiting the area from out of state and stopped in to see what they had and ended up spending more than 30 or 40 minutes just chatting and looking as the store was so filled and the owner was so nice. Pretty much every inch was filled with books. Everything from Modern and back issues to some Vintage books.. prices were very reasonable and even had some comics that were 50 cents to a dollar. Found a few modern books I was looking for and spent a nice time looking and chatting. Will definitely return when Im in the area as it is now one of my favorite comic shops. I love local comic shops like this!!! Thanks for keeping the hobby alive.. seemed like a rather quiet area with not too much foot traffic.

I met a FUN bunch of guys in there today. Personable store owners/associates go a long way with me. Ill definitely be back.

New favorite comic book shop in NJ. Today was my first time in and i will definitely be returning. Excellent selection of old and new comics, including key, and otherwise hard to find, issues. Very reasonable pricing as well. The owner, Chad, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Probably spent more time shooting the sh** with him than i did browsing the comics. Great guy and awesome shop all around!

I used to go to this shop when i was in high school. Once college started my collecting days stop. After taking my son to see Into the Spiderverse, I got that old itch again. So I bought him his first comic series by Boom and Dawn of X got me interested in comics again. Talk to the owner hes awesome. Shops like his need customers, so go out and support the business.

Its a great place, a little small and strapped for space, but if you are there for a card game draft or an even an event, and find out that there is more store than just the comic book shop, it truly becomes a friendly local game store. I thoroughly enjoy every visit, the owner is a great guy.
