I had a great experience with Dustin at Gresham Honda. He was very communicative with me and met all of my needs with grace and ease. I needed to limit my trips to the dealership, so Dustin accommodated me by doing most of the paperwork prior to my arrival. When I came to the dealership to pick up the car, he had everything prepared so the process of purchasing the car was fairly quick and easy. I never felt rushed through the process, and he took his time in showing me all of the car features and making sure all my questions were answered. Dustin also had excellent follow ups.I also had an excellent experience with Tanner, who handled the financing. A great team all around with excellent customer service!
They took the time to answer all our questions, no hard sales tactics or pressure. Each person we worked with, from our Sales Rep to the Financial Rep and Financial Manager were respectful & professional.We there for 6+ hours (we wanted to make sure we discussed all options) and never once were made to feel like we were a bother, instead they did all they could to make us and our young children comfortable. 100% recommend!

I got a same day appointment for routine maintenance. The service rep was personable and easy to chat with.I wandered around the sales lot and a sales rep spent time with me talking about the highly collectible S2000s.Each employee, including my technician, remarked how awesome their dealership is. Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy working here. It was a very relaxing atmosphere.
Great service by Jason and others! My car had a recall for a specific part. The part that needed to be replaced was out of stock. Jason set me up with a “loaner” car so they could keep my car until the part arrived. He also kept me updated by text message and gave me the option to review online the additional services the mechanic identified during inspection and accept or reject them. I thought that feature was very convenient. I felt I got everything my car needed - no more, no less. I will continue to return here for my car’s routine maintenance and any repairs.

If there is something that needs to be taken care of they will let you know and will not go forward until you say it is okay and give the yes go ahead and do it and thats good no surprise bills.

Worked with Joe and have to say he was amazing. We got there and we were instantly greeted and were able to test drive vehicles right away. We were even able to leave with a car that day withing an hour of starting papers. Really an amazing person and I hope to work with them more in the future!
Steve was super-helpful managing and explaining the repair process and options, and when I reached out to Robert in sales to learn about inventory just in case I decide to invest in a new vehicle in the near-ish future, he knew every question to ask to ascertain precisely what I would need.Beyond staff, the dealership is easy to access, with comfortable spots to wait and get work done on the laptop, plus coffee options, snacks and newspapers. Plus the space is spotlessly clean, with everyone masked up.
I went to this dealership after doing a lot of research on what I wanted to buy and I test drove that vehicle and was ready to make a deal. The sales rep would not work with me and was gaslighting me trying to get me interested in another vehicle with high miles. I did not feel like I was taken serious and he kept asking me if I was ready to sign because he didn’t want to waste his time talking with the finance manager. He messaged me to follow up and then proceeded to be passive aggressive. Total bummer as I would have like to buy the vehicle I originally went there to test drive. I tried to stay positive while I was there but in the end I left very uncomfortable and without the purchase of the car I went there to buy.
I am a new customer here.Great system for making an appointment. Upon arrival I was greeted by a service tech, Jason, and set up for service. I was told it would be about 3 hours. Service was done sooner!I asked the tech about the oil pan guard being secure and was assured that my car was fine. After leaving the lot, I received a phone call letting me know that they FORGOT the oil pan guard. Not a great way to start a new customer relationship.Jason was apologetic and offered me 2 car wash coupons. He then offered to was my car.I am nervous to bring my car back, what ifthey forget other, more important things??
Recall done 1 he. No problems. They did spot a steering pump leak so I will take it to my great mechanic to sort out. Said I need a back wiper so off to auto zone for a light and wiper.

Great experience almost universally start to finish. The salesman I worked with, Joe Dunne, was sociable and patient. Looked through and test drove multiple cars across the lot before deciding, was given the time I needed. Paperwork with their finance guy went smoothly and he shared a good attitude. Only negative was one unnecessarily pushy employee (sales manager?), but everyone else I worked with gave a good experience. Joe stayed several hours late to be there as I closed the deal, and I drove off with a car I love.

Typically great, most recent purchase salesman was really aggressive with price. Several other dealerships have been more accomodating as of late with other people I know who also just purchased used cars in cash. But end result was good. And I always have good service when servicing my car.
Because I was not able to locate a new Honda Civic within 100 mi radius of where I reside I searched just outside of this arena. Tonkin surfaced and had HONDA Civics.A salesman named John efficiently and timely, matched up exactly what I was wanting and needing. Daniel was our salesman and he is very down-to-earth and made us feel valued and he is an active listener. He really heard what we had to say and took that to heart. We came in financed through a special program and Tanner, the Finance Manager, made the rest of the process quick and easy and made sure we had all of our questions answered. We came in for servicing at nearly 100K miles. You didnt complete work that wasnt necessary, you informed us of additional, reasonable pricing for other requests and made repairs, and you offered good advice on additional items needing attention. You had our car done within a very reasonable amount of time.When I left, I noticed the AC wasnt working. You fit us in early the next morning, and soon we were in our way.Thank you!

Came in yesterday to look at a car for my son. I give one star less only because what we came to look was actually not available. That being said, we were still pleased with our experience. We started taking our 2016 CR-V to Tonkin Gresham Honda after we experienced inferior service at the dealership where we bought the car new. Tonkins service staff does an excellent job performing required maintenance and never tries to upsell. We appreciate their workmanship and honesty.
Service department staff met me at my appointed time and got my vehicle checked in promptly. They performed the necessary maintenance while I enjoyed some coffee drinks from their espresso-cappuccino-latte machine during my wait. Quality of service work was excellent and I didn’t have to wait too long.

In the midst of our heatwave the AC went out on my 2018 Honda CRV. I called for an appointment on. Thursday and couldn’t get in till the next Wednesday.So when it got checked out, it was determined to have a leaking hose. So I was given a loaner to get home as the part was due in the next day.I got a call the next morning letting me know the part didn’t show. Now I was to be in Central Oregon for my birthday week. (6/30). I told Mike while I was there that if not fixed I would need a loaner for 10 days. He pushed back and I found my salesman to get involved. Mike Wasn’t sure he could let me have it that long. However the morning he called I was told I could have the loaner for as long as I needed. The part finally arrived and my car was done the day after I got home from C.O.I have driven Honda cars since 1988 and never had this issue ever! Why would this happen to a less than 3 year old car!I realize the guys in service there are not responsible for lack of parts and I was taken care of by them. They all are super professional and nice there! I fault HONDA CORP for the AC going out and lack of parts in a timely manner!

I brought my recently bought CRV EXL for detailing work. I was reminded yesterday by phone to bring my car in for the “appointment” I was told that all I needed to do was to drop off my car @ Service. Unfortunately, an appointment for Service was not listed for me, & the Service receptionist was not happy about this. She had no clue about this so called appointment & acted as if I was a burden to her. I had to be redirected to the Sales department to clarify the matter. The Sales department did finally take care of this. I was a bit disappointed by the way this worked out. There should have been better communication between the Sales personnel & Service departments before I brought in my car. I am grateful for the help received by the Sales person that helped me.
AMAZING STAFF!!! I was helped out by Hannah, she was extremely kind and understanding of the fact this my first time buying a brand new car. I did not feel judged when asking questions, she did not pressure me instead she worked with me so we could stay in my budget. If you go to honda I recommend asking for Hannah. Also Michael was who I signed with he was great as well, he was fast at getting us out of there but made sure to go over every document and answered any questions I had, and again I asked alot of questions because this was my first new car purchase.I highly recommend this location!!

He gave us options, without being a “high pressure sales guy,” he asked thoughtful questions, and he made sure we were 100% happy and had all our questions answered. Took my 2011 Honda Ridgeline in for a new key and they told me I needed a bunch of stuff that I didn’t need at all (amounting to $2000+ in work) - they said I had a leaky oil pump & a leaky timing belt tensioner that needed immediate attention. I declined the work and took my Honda to Integrity Auto where they told me that the oil pump was bone dry and the timing belt tensioner was fine. Someone there at Honda also stole, lost, or threw away my lanyard keychain and claimed there was never one to begin with. Will never bring my truck back to this Honda.
Just bought a new CR-V at Tonkin Gresham Honda. Had a wonderful experience. I had requested a quote online. When we went in to the dealership they honored the quote with no haggling. Our salesman Tony was wonderful to work with. Polite, friendly and respectful. Others were the same. Overall a great place to buy a car. Thank you for making us happy with our new car.

Just recently purchased a used vehicle. We chose to trade in our current vehicle to upgrade due to life changes. When we got the number for our trade in, they low-balled us and said the vehicle would need at least a couple hundred dollars worth of work...which we were aware of....nothing major. We got them to go up a few hundred, but no where near what we wanted or what we had been offered by other locations. We accepted the offer because we liked the new vehicle enough to move forward. My husband has been keeping an eye on the website to see if they post our old vehicle, a somewhat rare 6 speed tacoma, and what a freaking shock when we find that they have posted it for not just a few grand more, but more than double what they offered us. The only reason were giving 2 stars is because we liked the main sales guy we worked with, but his boss is the prime definition of a deceitful and dishonest sales manager. We are happy with our new truck, but will never be returning.

Everything was a struggle. We knew exactly what we wanted and we said no to added items like extended warranty but the salesman kept coming back pushing the add on. Ended up walking out. We did buy the car the next day but only after checking all dealers within a hundred miles and not being able to find the car we wanted. We were able to get it without the added warranty but they still pushed on day two. If you like the old way of buying a car where you totally get yanked around for a few hours then this is your store. Otherwise I would choose someone else like Columbia Honda in the Dalles.
Gresham Honda was the not only the first dealership I ever been to, but they helped me tremendously during the purchasing process for my accord in 2019, and have since provided stellar service when it came to maintenance. The service advisor Graham, is very professional and always makes sure my car is taken well taken care of. I highly recommend this dealership AND the service department.
They did a great job of getting me the best possible financing for my new vehicle! In and out with my new vehicle within about two hours, with test driving two cars, so I’d say that’s pretty exceptional.

I didnt get good service from Tonkin Honda at all. I bought a brand new car from them. When purchasing the car, the Gresham Honda salesperson, Scott, said I would get a Cilajet appointment within one week after buying a car from them. The car was leaving to another state soon, so it was extremely important that they did it on-time otherwise we would never have the Cilajet at all. But after I bought the car and when I called for the Cilajet appointment, they said they didn’t have appointments until August 9th. Meaning what Scott said was dishonest and just to make money. We didnt get the service within a week as I was told by Scott. In fact, they never did the Cilajet at all and my car is gone to another state. The St. Louis Honda doesn’t even honor the service for here. What’s more is that the Cilajet was an extra $1000 on top of the car. Even when they never gave us the service they promised us on-time, they never refunded the extra $1000 we paid for the Cilajet. My daughter and I both texted and called Scott (the salesperson) and Michael from the finance department multiple times, but they ignored all of our texts and calls. So when they wanted to make money from us, their service was really good. But once they took our money, the service became really poor. Scott, the team, and Gresham Honda show selfishness by doing that. We also paid for the 4 years of oil change service package that they pressured us to get. I really need to know if they do oil change service in another state for four years because the car will be in St. Louis for a long time. I asked this question as well as other questions to Scott or Michael, but they never replied.
Daniel, Mike Gunderson, and Neal went above and beyond to help me get approved for a 2021 Honda HR-V Sport. I love the car and I truly appreciate what they have done for me.

Nick Stice is a honest mechanic and will show you what’s wrong with your car. The only negative is it’s a dealership, so as usual it’s a little more spendy.
