When we visited Oregon, this coffee shop was one of our favorites and one of places we came back to repeatedly.Drinks are good and they have a wide selection of choices available, but their pastries are next level. We recommend the berry pop tart thing, which sounds stupid, but is undeniably incredible. They made the adult, gourmet version of something you can’t eat anymore because you’re old and it hurts your teeth and it is awesome.

My personal favorite is an iced carmel blondie. Its a white mocha with carmel pretty much. I love this coffee over starbucks and Dutch bros. They are nice at this location and have never messed up a drink of mine. The line can get long but they work quickly.

Lovely ladies great coffee. The line can be long when people take their sweet a$$ time but coffee is delicious and close to my house. Getting in and out of the location can be a bit tricky but worth it. Please open the indoor dining so we can chill there

Went through drive through today & Anjulique didn’t want to wear her masks right. It was below her chin, exposing her nose and mouth. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status right now, & should cover nose down to chin. I asked politely if she could cover it at least while checking me out (I was masked too in my car) but she began to argue with me and gave a lot of attitude and practically threw my drinks at me and spilled over me in the car

The staff at this location are so great, and I normally have a very good experience. This past weekend 4/9/21-4/10/21 evening shift 1845-1905, it took 15-20 minutes— both nights—to get through the drive-up line. The speaker box was not in use, and staff was taking orders at the window. I work across the street, gave myself 15 minutes to get a coffee and was still late to work on both nights as there is no way to leave your drive-thru in the event of a long, time-consuming line, and especially after knowing they aren’t taking orders at the speaker which makes for a lengthy experience. I want to commend your staff for the awesome job and patience they endure in the service industry and I hope the feedback is helpful and not meant to be punitive.

I love black Rock. Everyone treats you very nice as your waiting for your drink theyll ask you about your day. They have away of turning a negative day into a good one with great coffee.

While I am not a daily patron, I visit this location often enough to say that the staff is always incredibly friendly and appreciative of my business. I know its always awkward for them to ask if I want to tip, a lot of times they just skip, but when I am asked, they always express gratitude that I do. The product is pretty great too. I would absolutely recommend the Black Rock in Troutdale!

Didnt listen to the details of my order. Ordered a medium, they charged me/gave me a large. Polite service from others however, rude service from the girl taking the order at the counter. Unfortunate.

This is my go to spot. Only complaint is their system is iffy to where Im not able to redeem my free drinks due to their system not allowing them to look up numbers half the time, I sadly feel in these events the drink should be comped but I still come back lol

Great coffee place. Very cute interior. Drive through is usually pretty quick. Busiest time is obviously early morning, but back up seems to be longest around 7:15. Its a convenient location and the staff is always friendly.

You can always tell how much a business values their customers by how soft the toilet paper is. Their toilet paper is amazingly soft and a pleasure to wipe with or blow your nose. And the coffee is delicious too.

Expensive drinks. Just another coffee place in town. They gave off the Dutch bro vibes as they talk your ear off the entire time you are waiting for your drinks. Little uncomfortable.

They treated my mother in law with respect and was really cool.. Liked it.. What a great experience today..

All drive through orders tonight (6:45pm) had to be made at the window. So if you are five cars back like myself you were TRAP even if you decided not to get coffee! Employee told me its against company polices to go outside (like DUTCH BRO) to take orders to speed up the process. Duh!!!!

We pulled up and there was a recording that said to order at the window. Another car was there and they waited about five minutes without being helped before leaving. We pulled up and couldn’t see anyone in there, so we figured they must be closed, but then as we pulled away and the next car pulled up, someone immediately greeted them. There were no other customers inside, and it was 6pm, so not sure what the workers were doing, but lost two customers just that I saw from inattention...

What a pleasant surprise! From general appearance, we thought this would be a typical fast food joint. It’s not! Do yourself a favor and check it out! Amazing Berry and Brie croissant and veggie burrito too!

Black Rock in general is a great place to go for coffee drinks but this Black Rock in particular is very fast and the drinks are really consistent. Always super delicious, never watered down, and friendly service.

I have had many great experiences at this shop. However, I dont know if its the pandemic or something else, but 2 of my last 3 trips have netted me not what I ordered. I am no expert on coffee, so I cannot tell you what I got today. I can tell you I ordered an xl Mexican Mocha, yet did not receive said mexican mocha.

I gave this four stars because my sister likes this place and she buys me whatever shes having and most of the time it is very good. Plus they seem to have a history between them, the Batistas and my sister. A little uppity.

They couldn’t make a cappuccino if their lives depended on it. You pay nearly five dollars for scalding coffee with little foam that you can’t enjoy because the coffee is too hot! This is one of the worst locations for a proper cappuccino or latte! They cannot make either one properly please retrain your drones.

Great people great place. I love the blended mocha that they serve here. The only thing that kept me from rating it higher stars was the person who was prepping my bagel that I ordered. He wasnt wearing any vinyl gloves when handling the bagel and was also touching the order screen in the process.

I love Black Rock! The coffee is great and its locally roasted. Sometimes the people might seem a little out of it but they are nice.

This is the best Black Rock around. First of all their customer service is amazing! Secondly the wait times are minimal. I can usually get in and out in 5 minutes. Aside from this specific Black Rock station, I love their sugar free options!!

Came by to grab coffee for my office, the service was great! I should really get coffee from here more often. Its got inside seating and and nice modern look. If youre coming by for quick coffee theres a drive thru as well.

Went here twice. Drinks are good and they are friendly, but music is too loud to have a conversation. Also, wish they had a better savory breakfast selection. Just a few bagels, otherwise its all sweet stuff.

The coffee is consistently good! Like warm velvet caressing the inside of your mouth, wrapping your tongue in warm gushing goodness. The only thing Im not fond of is the small talk. Every time they engage you and its awkward. I dont have plans and I just want my coffee. I know, youre just doing your job, so I answer politely so I can get my fix of sweet sweet liquid gold.

I am enamored with BR coffee bar. I love their coffee, and they always have quick service.I wish they had a bit more in the way of food, and this particular location gets kind of busy/noisy, and can be difficult to get in and out of, but I will be returning often!

Today is my Birthday and they were so nice and gave me a Large blended Carmel Blondie with whip cream and a pupachino for my doggy laying in the back seat lol. My drink was made perfect this time!!! And when I got home my dog love her whip cream and dog treats. Thanks Black Rock Staff for making my day better

Ordered at drive thru and got a medium strawberry Italian soda, when I received it, it had No cream?? All other locations add the cream and whip cream on top, so basically I had a syrup drink, had to go home and add milk to it, I was too exhausted to complain. I know some people have milk and lactose allergies, so employees ask, but they didnt ask if I wanted cream, Yes I did. SMH. Employees are ALWAYS welcoming and Professional!!
