Here’s why. So I personally owned an Acura Tl 2005 notice I said Owned, here’s why. Acura is a wonderful car and the newer models are wonderfully designed and Professionally crafted I love seeing their newest models on the street I truly do, I have also enjoyed my acura TL 2005 A lot! but here’s the issue this car specifically 2004-2008 has an electrical issue that no mechanic is able to figure out feel free to look it up yourself so I have checked online and to my surprise I have had a recall on my Acura for a while so I woke up on thursday morning told myself let’s get this done and I have called this dealership, a front desk associate picked up Ive explained my situation and she answered with “there is no recalls on your vehicle” so I have calmly asked for an associate I can speak with so she transferred me to someone to speak with and the associate just hangs up on me without even allowing either of us to say a word and I still love Acura but this specific dealership could do a lot better especially with their ratings bu changing someone of the employees in the company with better soft skills.
Really disappointed that Eric the manager of parts doesnt know the parts. I called to order a bumper bracket. I told him the number on the bracket and he said he couldnt find it.I told him that it was a metal bracket. He said there is no such thing. All of the bumper brackets at Acura were plastic. I told him that it goes directly under the tail light. He said it might be tail light pocket and that it would have to be ordered from Tennessee. I paid to over night it. I got to the dealership he said he will grab the parts and that I have to pay for the invoice. I did and he brought the wrong part. I told him it was the wrong part and that I wanted to return it. He said it was the right part that was ordered and it was special ordered and there was no way to return it with a tone. I then got a picture of the part from the other side of the car and showed him. He went to looked at the catalog and said he didnt find it. I asked him to check again and he reluctantly did but again came back and said he couldnt find it. He asked if I had a serial number. I gave him the same number I gave him earlier. He went to check and the part was available in stock for $8 dollars. He told me he thought the bracket was plastic. I asked again if I can return the wrong part and he said no. Really disappointed with the level of service I got from Acura of Troy.
Fast efficient service, easy appointment making, our service guy is always great. Leave happy every single time.
I bought the rear brake pads last Thursday, and their parts department gave me the wrong size. I found their mistake when I asked my mechanic to help with the installation on Friday morning, and my mechanic had no choice but to use their parts to install it. On Friday afternoon, I went back to this store to try to return the product. They refused to return the product and also said that there would be a fee for returning the product. Im very curious, it was clearly your fault, but I was responsible for it?
Misrepresented what a repair entailed and we’re confrontational and rude about it when caught. Did not display conciliatory customer service that aimed to reach a satisfactory resolution. Disappointed since they are the Acura dealer closest to us and we will have to go farther for repairs now. Wish they had been upfront about the work they were doing as they were doing and not overcharging (since they did not do all the work they said they would accomplish). Very disappointed
Salesman Gill is the premier professional that will get you what you want at the best cost.
Absolutely love seeing familiar faces there! Family atmosphere in service and sales department!
5/18/2021:Worst service department. I bought two cars from them in last four years.Honda customer service is better than Acura.7/6/2021:Service department: They dont have loaners. I bought 2021 rdx from this dealer. I called for a service appointment but they dont have loaners available. Reported this issue to Acura Client Relations. This is not the first time it happened. As always very bad experience. Brent was the name of the rep who first scheduled the appointment later called saying no loaners available for a month and cancelled the appointment.
I’ve had the two worst experiences with this dealership. It started when I bring my car to them due to an error light being on after a bodyshop did some work on my vehicle. They charged me a customary fee of $189 to assess what the issue was, and returned my car with the light off.About 20 mins later, the same light came on. I immediately called and the receptionist Cora, scheduled an appointment for me to bring it back the next day. (Quite an inconvenience given I live about 45 mins away in Downtown Detroit)… When I bring my car in the next day, I wait there for 3 hours for them to tell me “the bodyshop forgot to plug in a sensor”. “We’re just gonna charge you $200 for the labor”.Now mind you, I JUST paid $180 the DAY BEFORE for the SAME ISSUE that they failed to fix initially. We’re it not for my insurance adjuster saying “them charging you again makes no sense”, I would have paid simply to speed things along.Fast forward 3 weeks, I made another appointment because the headlight and turn signal in the bumper that the bodyshop painted were flickering (terrible body shop as well, I know). When they were able to accommodate me (no Leander car available) I dropped my car off Monday morning and heard nothing from them until Wednesday when the receptionist called and said “We don’t see anything wrong with your vehicles lights”.Much like the prior time, their tech’s completely missed the issue that was the cause of me bring my car to them. When I responded with a picture with the lights out, they said they would look at it again. This point, my car has been there THREE DAYS FOR A LIGHT. The next day they called and said that they see the problem and will fix it to the tune of $450. (Insurance was going to foot the bill but they refused to say “the damage could have been the fault of the bodyshop) so I had to come out of pocket. Now I would have replaced the bulb myself and not paid the $220 in labor they charged were it not for me dealing with my insurance company and wanting an accurate assessment. This situation prompted me to write a negative review on Google, to which an hour later I was contacted by Martin who’s a manager at Acura of Troy who told me that he was erasing all my vehicle records and saying I should never return there again. When I went to respond to him, he hung up. When I called back, he hung up in my face again.Absolute worst experience ever. Can’t believe this is a dealership’s service department. Couldn’t be more disappointed in how I was treated.
Why does JAMES not know a thing about Acuras. He sells them for a living. I ask him about features, and hes gotta let me know because hes gotta go ask his boss
Walked in and wasnt greeted by any salesperson or customer service rep but there wasnt anyone in the dealership at the time. The woman in the first office looked directly at me and went back to working on her computer. Clearly this business isnt interested in greeting customers. Ill take my business elsewhere
Easy online appointment making, service guy Brent is helpful and friendly, prices you would expect from a luxury car dealership. Don’t mind driving 30 miles to go to this dealership.
I did my car shopping on their website and emailed back and forth with Nicole about the car I wanted. When the one on their lot ended up being sold, she went out of her way to get me another one. She special ordered the exact ILX that I wanted at the price I was promised from the beginning. Two weeks later when the car arrived at the dealership, I dealt with Gil, who was a great, friendly salesman. He quickly got the paperwork completed and got me into my new car. He walked me through the basics of the features in the car, made sure I was happy, and sent me on my way! Overall, a great car buying experience. Next time I am ready for another Acura, I will definitely go to Acura of Troy!
Perfect on all measurable areas of service delivery!!
Salesman Gill is a Premier Professional that will get you what you want, when you want it, at the very best cost.
Greg the service manager is AMAZING. That whole place is amazing. Their customer service is second to NONE. This dealership has made us Acura buyers for life! Never had one before, but we will be buying again as the years go by. Id give 10 stars if I could. Thank you Greg.
Service department was rude and asked me to leave. will not be returning.
Was in a month ago. Firstly I was happy to see everyone wearing a mask and keeping distance when able to. Everyone was very helpful. Brought my vehicle in for service and was greeted by Service Advisor Brent and Cora. There a great team. Cora is straight to the point (which is good) and Brent is very personable and gave me his personal and professional opinion on questions I had.(would recommend him to anyone) He even had me laughing a few times throughout my visit. They didn’t have any snacks or shuttle rides due to covid. But that’s understandable. I’ve been to Jeffery and Fox Acura and this is by far the best dealership. Best service team members. Best location, easy to make appointment and Prices are fair. Very good experience and you don’t get that at a lot of dealerships or auto shops.
Couldnt possibly say enough about this place. Im not even buying an Acura from them and their customer service is amazing. Greg told me that if you own ANY Acura theyre happy to always help and be there. Greg saved me from buying a mistake at a dishonest dealership. Thank you for your honesty Greg, we appreciate you.
Havent purchased a car from this location, but the service department is and always has been outstanding for me. Today 6/30/20, Greg provided me excellent service, and actually walked me through a minor issue over the phone. 15 minutes later, everything is fine an dandy. Thanks Greg!
Great service and great prices. Service adviser Brent is very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Would recommend the service department to anyone. Thank you!
Walked in wanting to test drive a new RDX and had an appointment set up. At first they couldnt figure it out, then we were guided to Hoover who was the rudest sales person Ive ever dealt with in my entire life. Wanting to test out cars and not ready to buy for a little while and was told why are you here and talked down to like we didnt know what we were talking about. If you want to be treated right and not talked down to take your business somewhere else.
Very clean establishment. Helpful and friendly staff.
I cannot recommend the service at this dealership more. They have treated me excellent both times I have been here. Their prices are a lot more reasonable than most service shops in the area. Shout out to Shane.
Service Manager: Shane is the best. This guy is patient, respectful and very honest. Customer service at its best. This is kind of service and hospitality makes me want to drive 25 miles each time to get my car serviced. Also the manager of the place (not sure if he owns the place or not) is man of his word. Great job guys. I bought my car here 2 years ago but forgot to write a review until service manager dealt with Shane recently for my car service which made me realize that I have to do my part by writing this review.
It was my first time at this dealership, the guy SHANE was so amazing. He is unlike other salesmen at other dealerships who scare you and make you pay more!!But that is not the case here, its perfect job and reasonable price. I really appreciated the complimentary shuttle to work and sparkly car wash! I am glad that I picked this dealership.
Kim Milton is the best.. she helped put me in a 2015 BMW 650. Beautiful car, amazing service.. for you next vehicle go and see Kim. She will make it happen. Thank you Kim and Carson:)
This place does an amazing job. I worked here for many years and can honestly say the sales and service team are great! It is hard to find an honest place, and can first hand say that all the individuals that work here are great people. Was a pleasure working for the business, and would highly recommend people to service their vehicles at Acura of Troy. Greg and Kora in service do an excellent job going the extra mile to make sure everything goes right for the customer. Gil, Hoover, David, and the main man himself Carson Horner are excellent in Sales providing exceptional service. The technicians really know their stuff, and are outstanding on diagnosis and helping you to maintain your vehicle. Even the Porters Kristina and Cortez work Hard at cleaning your vehicle with a Wash and Vac. And last of all, all of the ladies in the back office do a great job keeping everything organized and all the behind the scenes work. Lovely Place, Check it out.
Brent in service A++ thank u!
If you go to this dealership to purchase a vehicle, which I highly recommend you do, go find Kim Milton. Im not kidding. She is wonderful & strait forward. No sugar coating, pure honesty & wants to get you what YOU want. The sales manager is wonderful as well & genuinely cares. I certainly wouldnt be writing this review like this if I wasnt serious. These people are wonderful. Thank you Acura of Troy.
Im from a family of loyal Acura owners and my 2001 3.2 TL has been very good to me over the years - that being said, I want to share a recent experience I had with my dealership in Troy, MI (Acura of Troy). On Oct. 27, 2009 I had my brakes checked during a full inspection. The mechanic stated that I had 4mm pad life front & rear. At the time, a brake job was not recommended by the mechanic. On Jul. 12, 2010 I went in for another estimate because of a noise coming from the front axle. I was given an invoice stating, pads at 6mm. I was told that I needed all new brake pads and rotor resurfacing. The cost: $829.02.Since brake pads cannot grow thicker, I asked the service manager, Greg, how his mechanic had come to this conclusion. Among other things, he said that OE brake pads and aftermarket brake pads are measured differently. After fact-checking with several local mechanics, I was unanimously told that all brake pads are measured the same way...If you know anyone in the Oakland County area, please be warned about the Acura of Troys service department.
Gil showed us the different models and trims. He is very knowledgeable and he answered every question we had. Great service!
David P. Elledge was excellent. He was able to get me into the vehicle I wanted, in my price range. Acura MDX, I highly Recommend Acura of Troy for your next vehicle purchase and ask for David.
Shane at the service department is very helpful and professional. Overall I had a positive experience at this dealership. Their parts department need a lot of improvement. I asked for some parts and their prices and the person was not helpful. Again, except the part department the dealership is a good place to visit for car service.
I had to get a Acuras recall on my car fixed and Shane Watson in Service was extremely helpful and great to work with. Spent some time researching about New vehicle and the sales department Kim Milton was very energetic, knowledgeable and helpful in providing the necessary information. Overall seemed a great dealership.
Very bad experience. When I asked about my mdx battery warranty, Greg said 100 month warranty having only 50months passed, they will replace the battery at no cost. I confirmed prior to driving for an hour to reach. After I reached, they charged me $112 as 50% cost for battery. Where in the world battery cost $210+tax to prorate to $115? Absolute cheats. When I asked about free replacement, they said sorry Greg mis-communicated. Never go there.
Just leased a beautiful 2020 MDX. Best new car experience in 30 years. We worked with David Elledge and highly recommend him and this dealership. He was very courteous and knowledge about his products and answered all of our questions and more. Finalizing and signing paperwork was fast and easy. David did it right at his desk which was so much better than going into a room with the finance guy which I have been forced to do for every other car purchase. They even corrected a mistake made by me that allowed them to reduce the monthly payment.
Very pleased with my service at this dealership. David was very helpful and patient while processing a new vehicle for me at Acura.
Had a ignition coil go bad and they were able to diagnose and repair in the span of a few hours. Got a shuttle ride home, car was washed upon pick up and Greg (service director) was helpfuland efficient.Maybe this is standard issue for an Acura dealer, but still, good to draw attention to good service.
Long time customer-absolutely best customer experience in both Sales and Service Department! Service Department does an outstanding job with vehicle maintenance and repairs; Service Advisors very professional and courteous.
Overall experience with Acura of Troy is good. This is my go-to place for oil changes and have not had any issues.Check out lady was a pistol but it is not enough for me to not come back to the dealership.Fresh baked cookies are the best!
We worked with Tom Strace for lease quotes and I must say was very professional, patient, and not pushy whatsoever. We really appreciate him taking his time out to help us out. Super friendly, and a genuinely nice guy. Theyre lucky to have him there.
I am always impressed with the professionalism of the staff in the Service Department. I have never had a problem with being told I had to have something done right away. I was told I needed new rear brakes, but I was also told I could wait until my next service date. I never feel I have to approve something when it is not necessary.I will continue to take my car to the Acura Service Department as I have for the last eleven years.
I scheduled service for my Acura TL then received a call as I am on my way to the dealer that they wouldnt be able to provide the services they promised. I understand that situations change so I rescheduled for another day. On the day of my second appointment, I took off work early just to get there on time but received the same phone call and and was told that they wouldnt be able to provide the services again. Just want to thank you for the overall level of customer service as I will take my business to a different dealer.
Polite, kept you informed of your cars progress. Done in a timely fashion
Great dealership with excellent customer service! Traveled all the way there from Chicago and received red carpet treatment!
Thank you for the professional sales service that we received over the past week. We wanted a no hassle, fast and honest transaction. That is exactly what we got. We love the new MDX. I have purchased a lot of cars from a lot of dealers over the years. Acura of Troy is top notch.
Always a great experience. Everyone is polite and have really put in an effort to make sure Im satisfied with everything. Taking me back to the service shop and talk to the mechanic and have him show me everything really helps!!!!
Never in my life have I been so disrespected at a dealership. Im in my mid 20s along with my wife. We walked in and not one person approached us. When I approached a heavy set black male salesman he was extremely short with us asking what we needed. We stated we were interested in a new RDX. He stated feel free to look at the one in the show room, to which I pointed outside and asked if we could start one up to see the vehicle options. The salesman looked at me and immediately stated well we clearly cant start a car in the showroom I responded by saying yes obviously I was asking about the one outside. The salesman proceeded to get the keys, didnt start the car for my wife or open the door for her like every other salesman has always done. Never offered to explain any options or show how anything works Im the car. Instead he said I need to go inside I forgot my hat 30 seconds later another salesman a tall older white man came out and said oh the other salesman had an appointment waiting for him inside funny thing was we were the only people there. This salesman didnt ask any questions but instead said when do you want to purchase a car. I stated Im currently active duty military stationed in Japan and this is our last trip home before we move back in 9 months, so we need to find a car this trip the salesman immediately responded with shut the car off when youre done and left with the key with him never to returnThis has been such a horrible experience and the worst customer service I have ever refieved, not just with car sales but anything in my life. Steer clear of this sham of a dealership. There is a reason why they are 1 of only 2 dealerships in the motor mall that are not apart of the suburban collection.
Great luxury car experience. Professional and courteous staff. Helpful shuttle or loaners when you are in for service.
The dealerships show room is a little small and they were a little too busy when we were there. However, wed like to thank the salesman Hoover Harvey Jr. for excellent friendly service. Even though we ended up deciding against the few CPOs we were looking at, Hoover made our visit a very warm one on a very cold 2014 Michigan spring day.
Kora was extremely unprofessional from the time we arrived to the time we left. She never introduced herself or told us what her position was until we inquired to have our car diagnosed at the end of our encounter. We later learned she was a service advisor. She made us feel as if we were wasting her time and she clearly did not want to help us. Our car fortunately died just as we pulled into the service drive rather than on the road. She came out and asked what we needed and we told her our car died and that it was having issues, which is why we came to the dealership. She didn’t believe us, asked us “what kind of problems” and minimized the issue at hand. She continued to tell us that all the mechanics had gone home for the day. She then told us to get out of the car so she could take it for a test drive herself. When she tried, the car did not start. We saw her cussing to herself in the car when she realized it was in fact a serious issue. Rather than laying out our options for us, she aggressively told us that she was sure that our alternator was bad and that we’re pretty much screwed if we try to drive off with it. With that being said, she also didn’t offer the option of leaving our car at the dealership to be looked at by the mechanics the next day. “Your alternator is bad. That’s easily going to be about $800-900. I don’t know what you’re going to do.” 🤦🏻♀️I then asked her if she could tell me she was 100 percent sure that it was the alternator, to which she replied, “Umm, maybe 85 percent.” That, to me, was already frustrating enough because she was trying to diagnose the car without any testing at all. I asked if we could leave the car overnight so that the mechanics could properly diagnose it, and then she immediately started throwing the costs at us, which we were well prepared to pay for.All this to say, yes, it turned out to be our alternator. We would have decided to receive repairs from them, but based on our experience with her, we chose to go elsewhere and have our car towed out of there. There is a professional manner in which she could have provided service and help to us. Her job is to be courteous and helpful. What we received was far from that. I work at a dealership and I would never speak to customers the way my husband and I were spoken to. Kora should probably not be the first point of contact for customers from now on. We won’t be back.
Called to get a radio code for an rsx and greg walked me through no problems in minutes..
Horrible customer service, spoke to “Greg” in the service department who claimed he was the “service director” was not helpful at all. He was very difficult and rude. Unfortunately this is the only acura thats remotely close to me. Will try to never go there unless it’s an emergency. The only reason I gave 1 star is because the receptionist was pleasant!
We have been customers at Acura of Troy since 2004. Our family has purchased 3 new and 2 certified pre-owned vehicles from them. We trust the folks at Acura of Troy from the salesroom to service. The service department finds ways to work us in whenever we need them. They always give us expert advice and extend all the incentives that they can. Were confident in their expertise, and feel like part of the family over there. And we find Acura vehicles to be the best value in their respective segments. These are the things that keep us coming back.
As far as I can tell, they are nice and do a decent job. That said, I get the sense they will try to bill you for frivolous things like rust on your rotors. They wanted to resurface my rotors to eliminate the rust. Not knowing much about cars, I researched this online and found that rust on rotors is normal. The guy at the dealership said my brakes would start to squeak if I didnt get this service, however its been several months without any squeaking.
Were from out of town we always visit this Acura dealer when visiting MI the prices on the item we purchase is much cheaper.
I visited this dealership on a Friday afternoon at about 2:30pm to check out the new RDX, the dealership had almost no customers at this time. I found the dealership well kept, up-class and posh as such but I had a pretty bad experience with the sales person, David who works at this dealership. David behaved in an unprofessional manner during my interaction with him, it was indeed my worst test drive experience by far. David plainly refused to let me test drive the vehicle on the freeway citing reasons that “freeway drives are restricted as we’re approaching closing time”, I’ve never heard anyone say that at 3pm in the afternoon when the dealership closes at 6pm. I hope the dealership owner/management takes action immediately to ensure other customers don’t face similar experiences. I would encourage customers to visit other dealerships (Jeffrey Acura or Fox Acura) in the detroit area where the sales people are more friendly, courteous and respectful.
Very nice place to do business.
I live in Windsor, ontario Canada. I cross the border just to get my car serviced here. My car is 6 years old and it runs like new thanks to the fantastic team at Acura. They dont overlook any detail.
Grade A service! Super Friendly and efficient
This was one of the worst shopping experiences. I was recently in the market for a new vehicle and was considering leasing or purchasing either a fully loaded MDS or RDX. If this went well, my wife and I were considering a replacement car for her. The sales representative, Victor, was extremely cocky and off-putting. One of the first questions he asked was what can you afford? Normally, I appreciate this frankness, but his tone was dismissive. He was cocky during his sales speech and did not go over many details of the vehicle with us. During the test drive, he was making jokes about how I would be able to handle all of the features of the car, but his jokes were definitely in a mocking tone. After the test drive, he did not even print out any figures for us regarding different packages of the car for purchase or lease. I had to write everything down. This rep said that he prided himself on the luxury of his brand, but what luxury brand makes a customer write down the information when there are printers handy. He was also proud that he did not work on commission, but he probably should so that he wont act like a jerk to a potential customer. Suffice it to say, we did not return to this dealer. I took my business elsewhere where I felt more welcomed. They missed out on not just 1 but 2 vehicle sales.
Excellent service
Do not go to them for service unless u have excess money to waste. Way overpriced and poor poor quality of work.
Kind and professional staff. Good selection of new and pre owned vehicles.
Good service and quality.
This place really is the best Acura dealership in the whole state. Bought my MDX from Jeff Lichtle and I love it. Great service, and very friendly staff. Awesome job to everyone involved.
Great service and especially Shane watson is awesome employee, very friendly and makes your car dellivered after service as brand new car.
I must admit nice place, clean facility. Great staff very professional and polite and they work with you to get the exact vehicle you are looking for they sure know how to treat there customers always with a smile on there face. I been bring my 2005 Acura Tsx for several months now to get a tuneup and Boy they do an amazing job i am very please with the srevives. Thank you Acura Of Troy & Shane Watson for your Great services.
Great customer service.
Car went in for a recall. Was told my car would be picked up from my work and delivered back to me the same day. The service manager Shane then says that they couldnt return my car to me even though it was done by 4 pm.Now I work 30 miles from the dealership where it was picked up. I live 60 miles the other way. Shane says the car needs picked up before 6 and I work till 8. So their lack of ability to return my car is now my problem. So why cant they bring my car back to me? Money. Thats right, they only contract with one tow company and they were too busy to return my car. Again why is this my problem? So I called Acura Corp in California. Explained that I was stranded at work and that I needed my car back. The first person I spoke with said that they would handle it because I was supposed to have my car back the same day. She would call me back. Never got that call back. So I called them back. Only to find out that she went home for the evening and left a false note in the account that said she spoke to me and Shane on 3 way and we all agreed the car would be returned back the following day.So I am supposed to sleep outside in a cold rain overnight?Anyway I did have better luck with the next person. She was able, form California, to do what this dealership couldnt do from less then a mile from a tow service. Set up a tow truck to bring my car back to me that night. So at 10 pm my car came back to me. I started calling at 4pm. I leave work at 8pm. So it took 6 hours and a bunch of headache to get a car towed 30 miles.. All because their perfered tow service was not available.I spoke with the manager about my concerns and I was told because I didnt drop off the car to them they didnt have a obligation to return my car or give me a loaner.. Yet the recall notice that Acura sent me reads otherwise. Also when I called Acura Corp they also confirmed that I was correct in my reading of the recall notice.I also told him I was posting this.. He said I dont care . And he was going to contact Acura to defend the dealerships position on this. If you have a manager of a business that doesnt care about how his business is seen by the public.. Well everyone thats the kind of service you can expect if anything goes a little wrong. So if you use them pray that everything is perfect. Because again they could not figure out how to pick up a Phone and call a tow company that was 5 blocks from their dealership to get my car back to me. Sad
Been a customer for more than 10 years. I am always treated professionally and courteously by my sale representative David Elledge.
The guy name Rep Greg he’s really mean I don’t know why they have people like that have really bad coustomer service is not knowledgeable about the vehicles and is rude I’m not going there for service anymore.now I start going to JEFFREY Acura automotive services really nice people good coustomer service 💯30800 GRATIOT AVENUE service needed.
Bought MDX from David Elledge who was great. Since I live in Ohio it was not easy to stop by and test drive vehicle. I knew what car I wanted and it was important for me to make deal over the phone before I make 3.5h trip to dealership. Talked to several dealers and David was only one who listened and understood my situation. We made deal quickly and everything was as promised. For sure I will make more trips in future and get more cars from him.
The parts department is absolutely useless. Wont even match pricing with other Acura dealers, flat out lies and says I cant. Dont lie to me, just tell me you dont want to. Ill continue to buy my parts online rather than go back to these worthless, greedy people.
Just leased a 2015 TLX from Acura of Troy. Ive bought a lot of cars in the last 50 years and this was, by far, the best dealership experience I ever had. Unlike my recent experience at another local Acura dealer, my salesman, Victor Burguess, was low key and accommodating. He patiently answered all my questions without ever trying to use high pressure tactics to close the deal. He went out of his way to make sure that the car was a good fit for me. His general manager was, likewise, professional and businesslike, and made sure I had a good financial deal without the usual games car dealers like to play. I cant speak for their service department yet but, judging from the high quality of dealership management I experienced, I expect top notch service. I recommend this dealer highly.
Currently leasing an RDX. Got first oil change done for free but had to make an appt. and it was done in less than 1 hour. Not sure why i couldnt just walk in to get it done. Waiting room had free wifi but no charging stations. Noticed that there were no sales people around which was weird. At Honda, Im almost always asked if ive seen the latest models and do a test drive while i wait. This place is kind of different. Its like theyre not trying to sell cars. 3 stars for the complimentary first oil change.
Shane at the service department was excellent very honest and professional
I was shopping for a replacement for my 2010 TSX that was coming to the end of its lease from Acura of Troy. Both the salesperson, Victor, and his manager, Tom, were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure that I was very satisfied. I was so impressed that we actually came away with two cars... I got a 2012 TSX and my wife got a 2013 RDX! A very positive experience all round.
Great service, wonderful experience!!!!! I will take my car there for now on
I was so disappointed service was awful. Just disgusted from the time I got there until the time I left. Then no car wash on top of that. This dealership should be closed not the one on Farmington rd.
Would not suggest service at this dealership. Service Rep Greg is not knowledgeable about the vehicles and is rude. Will take my business elsewhere on my next service needed.
Was in the market for a new luxury SUV. looked at the X5, a lexus gx, an MLK Mercedes, and finally the Acura MDX.Got the best bang for the buck on the mdx from Victor Burgess of troy. Victor is a very professional and enthusiastic salesman. He did not pressure me at all, and I worked with him for over a month on my purchase. He follows up immediately and showed me the ins and outs of the features on the MDX advance. He went out of his way to ensure I got the accessories I wanted and simply took care of me.
