Excellent place and great finds! The prices are pretty reasonable.
We frequent Gristmill, stopping in every time we head up to our home in Vermont. Bob is a really terrific guy, always so helpful and friendly. Theres a great selection of vintage and antique treasures and always something fabulous to pick up at a fair price. Certainly worth a visit!
Prices are great. So much to see. Owner is awesome.
If you want a wonderful experience that will make you stop and remember those days, then come to the Gristmill!! The owners are not only professional in their business endeavors, they are friendly and happy to see you enter this well kept, fabulous looking shop! They will engage in a memorable conversation and tell you what you need to know about each piece of merchandise you purchase. I especially like coming in during the Columbus Day weekends, where another treat is to peek at the beautiful New England foliage! Come one...Come all!!!I will see you there this weekend!!
Fabulous little gem on Scenic Rt 7 with a generous, hospitable host. He had everything from unique old doors and furniture to glassware and lamps. I checked out all his cabinet card photos in numerous shapes and sizes, all very reasonably priced. Check out the bright green screen door on the front porch! Wish Id had somewhere to put it!
Nice fall destination. Follow Rte 7 directly east out of Troy. Opens later on Sunday. Two floors to visit. Combine visit with a trip to a farm stand. Lots to see along Rte. 7
Plenty of off-road parking...a good variety of old, nostalgic but still useful items...very pleasant staff...reasonable prices.
This is a multidealer store. Lots of varied merchandise with the typical New England level of quality. Having said that, I think this place must get a series of regular pickers. All old stuff but typical old stuff. Really unusual stuff was not abundant. Prices were good. If I lived around here I would hit it every two weeks easy. I picked up a cool 1924 Eveready battery to add to an existing collection. I also picked up some ephemera that I might save or try to flip.
Wonderful place! Several different vendors to satisfy all types of styles and collectables. Everything was clean and well organized making for a fun exploration day. They even provided my 87 year old mom a place to sit while we explored the second floor... super sweet of them. Pay them a visit and find yourself a treasure. 😁
I never actually go here, I just sit in the parking lot and wait for my ex to drop off my kid.
Walking into this wonderful antique shop is a trip back in time. Bob is a most personable owner and he has a fine selection of items. We were moving and he paid a fair price for some of the antiques that, unfortunately, we could move with us.
Worth the time to stop. Great collection of items to choose from. Nice jewelry to buy! Friendly owner to chat with.
Very good antique store.
Good overall, multidealer antique store. Lots to look at in well displayed niches. Looking to find a way to spend an hour? Take a look through and find something unusual or unique.
Nice antique shop. Lots of interesting stuff from many genres.
Great place! Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to look at everything. Lots of stuff.
Stop in anytime we are in the area
I found a real cool deal in there! Lots of places to search around for goodies
Well, take your time with this gem!!! Sooo much to see. I came away with 4 or 5 slips. Lots of amazing finds!!!
Terrific antique store for rustic and primitive items, jewelry, furniture, etc. Check in often as the turnover is high and new (old) items come in weekly. Also dont forget to go upstairs!
Always like to visit this antique shop, they have a nice variety of things. The staff has always been nice.
I was looking around, hands to myself..After being in this store for not even 5 minutes I was told by counter clerk Joyce that the police were called ahead of my arrival.Previously to arriving at this store I called ahead to ask if the store sells gold jewelry and was told yes...then asked for my name? After driving 40 minutes to this Antique shop hoping to find a gold pendant... my session at this store was cut short by being told just so you know..I called the police ahead of time!.Walking in I said Hey, being polite, and not touching the merchandise there was nothing I could have done to caused any thoughts of being anything but a purchasing customer.Maybe Joyce did not like the way my voice sounds over the phone and the way I look..who knows. But personally I will take my spendings to all other Antique shops but this one from now on.An unfortunate loss of a potential sale and loss of my time.
Great place to amble around and check out all the good finds...friendly people I visit often
What a wonderful antique shop! Definitely one of my new favorites!
My husband and I love to antique shop, and go quite frequently. Initial impression was that the shop was nicely organized. As we rounded the corner to where the cashier, presumably the owner, was sitting we were greeted with a stern glare and no Hello, can I help you find anything. Thinking he was just a grumpy old man, we preceeded with the intent to spend a substantial amount of money because it was my husbands birthday. Soon after, a white male came in the store and he greeted him with a smile and asked what he could do for him. Then a second white Male came in, and again greeted him with a friendly smile and asked him if he could help him. I also noted that he was watching us on his surveillance system. I happen to be white and my husband is black. This man is clearly a racist and we will never give him a penny of our money.
Always find something lovely to bring home!
Wonderful store, wonderful people! Feels like walking into a historical monument with all the antiques in the store. Always a stop when Im in town!
It is a great place to shop for anything, relaxed and helpful people. So much fun.
Great experience- clean, well laid out shop with excellent service and fair termssmells really good in there, too!
After repeatedly calling and emailing about a ring for months (since August), I finally got ahold of the owner of the store. He tells me they have the ring still, he’s going to let me know how much to purchase and ship. I’m told today that the ring is “long gone” and he’s sorry. The kicker is that if they had accepted credit/debit cards I would have purchased the ring when I was in the store. But no, I did not have my check book (who does?!).I am so disappointed. I will not do business with a company who treats customers in such a manner.
Great place! Great Staff!! one of the best antique stores!
Awesome antique store. Owners are extremely nice and knowledgeable.
In there website it describes this mall as one of the biggest antique centers in the northeast. not tue. very small size of a small house.
