I would recommend DW&T to everyone!! My wheel is now discontinued! However, they had one in a different finish. So they stripped it down and put the correct finish on it at no additional charge! They then had the wheel to me in the same amount of time if I would have ordered it from the dealer I previously used! I will always buy my wheels from DW&T for now on.

I scoured the internet desperately searching for a new rim after one of mine was badly damaged. I tried to get the cheapest deal I could find... it didnt work out. Recently had a great experience with DWT. I did a wheel exchange (bought theirs at a reduced cost, and sent them mine in exchange). Doing this requires a deposit. I was curious how that was going to work. Well, it worked perfect. They were very fair about the cost to repair my wheels I sent them (2 had some issues, 1 road rash). I am very happy with the transaction. This was for a 2016 535i M Sport with Staggered Wheels. Highly recommend

I found them through google when searching for a replacement Rim.My cousin is not mechanically inclined and had a screw driver puncture her wheel (yes her wheel) on the highway. The dealership was going to charge 5x the price of Detroit Wheel and Tire.I was skeptical, but I called Detroit multiple times and was able to speak to a real person each time. They quoted me 20 days to delivery due to refurbish time.My cousin ended up receiving the wheel within a week.My cousin lives 3 states away from me, but I was able to help her source a replacement wheel for 1/5th of the dealership cost.I could not be happier with the experience!

Took a wheel in to be repaired after finding there is a shortage of my wheel type due to factory issues.My wife and I were skeptical when offered the repair option but, decided to try it. They got the rim repaired faster than promised, a plus. Was able to get us in the very next day to install the wheel, another plus. And, when we took the car out on the road, the shaking at 55 to 60 mph was completely gone. My experience with Detroit Wheel & Tire was HORRIBLE. I called to order a 2014 Kia Soul replacement rim. Getting this done, Bryan Ogg, the Director of Internet Sales and Purchasing, provided a rim style that was to be the OEM 2014 Kia Soul rim. On receipt, it was an incorrect rim. I was already at the tire stop to have the tire mounted only to find out it was not they correct rim. I advised Bryan that was not the correct rim. He stated to me, I had to purchase another and then I would receive the correct rim. Keep in mind, I had the incorrect rim. Having to purchase another rim before I could get the correct one. So, I asked why should have I to pay for another rim before I could get the correct rim. I had already paid for the rim I had in my possession. So replied, you would have to pay for another and on the receipt of the incorrect rim then I could receive a refund. The way this was handled was ridiculous. I had to pay $52.63 to UPS in order to get my refund for the incorrect rim. Bryan stated it was my responsibility to return the incorrect back to them. Now remember, Bryan supplied the rim order number for this incorrect rim. I had to call into Detroit Wheel and Tire to inquire about my refund. So, I asked about it. I was told it was not showing receipt of the rim. At that time, I was told I had contact UPS to track the package. I contacted UPS and told it was received on July 19th. So, I called back. I was told at that time, it was noted on my account, it was received. That was there way of being dishonest and giving me the run-a-round. They were aware of having the returned rim in there possession whenever I initially called.The individuals at Detroit Wheel and Tire are liars and about game playing. Never use them. Spare yourself of this sort of nonsense.I would NEVER RECOMMEND Detroit Wheel and Tire.I AM recommending CarParts because I went through them to purchase the correct OEM 2014 Kia Soul rim. I had the CORRECT rim within 2 days of purchase. NOW THAT IS GOOD BUSINESS!!!

They refinished the rims on our Porsche Cayenne Turbo and I can’t explain how amazing the transformation was for these wheels.I posted a picture of them to google so you can see.I thought that the only chance I had was to replace them but they were able to make them look like new again!Highly recommend.

Yet another excellent experience...I came in last week and Joe V and Brian set me up with a great set of Michelin tires. Joe V went above and beyond in presenting many different tire options, allowing me to easily make a educated decision. The tires were balanced and installed perfectly, and they now make my vehicle feel like new again.3 years later, the chrome rims are holding up nicely without any corrosion, even through the brutal salty winters.You cant go wrong here folks!

My tires were down to the bone, and I needed to get new ones. While I was at it, I also thought itd be nice to get some new rims with a glossy black finish as opposed to the chrome ones I had. I had never dealt with wheels before, and spent a week looking for ones that I was comfortable with, and that brought me to Detroit Wheel & Tire! It was really close to Oakland University, so one day I popped in with some questions and an estimate and the sales person who helped me - Kirk Wimple, who I highly recommend - went above and beyond to ensure I had a smooth transaction. He worked with me in getting my wheels ready, and helped me out a lot with the exchange option since I had to pick up the rims and have them installed at my local auto place then bring back the old ones. I was incredibly stressed over the prices I had to pay for 20 black wheels for my truck in store and online at other places, but Kirk gave me a super reasonable price and I am beyond satisfied with the finished product; couldnt ask for anything better. The rest of the staff at DW&T are also very chill; I remember asking questions to Kirk and other sales people would immediately chime in with answers and their personal input - that was incredibly cool. Excellent staff and products. I purchased PVD chrome coated OEM rims ( OEM from factory originally were silver/grey painted aluminum ) for my Cadillac CTS4 over 5 years ago and they still look outstanding ! They have the Roadforce tire balancer which is excellent. I live in Toronto Canada and these rims stood up to some very salty and harsh winter roads. I highly recommend.

EXCELLENT tire and wheel combo deal! The 20 chrome wheels for my 2015 Ram 1500 were used but in good condition, a few scratches. And they all had the tire pressure sensors. The 20 Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires came brand spanking new, balanced and ready for my truck. So, if Id have purchased used wheels online, and I searched for two weeks, I would have spent at least $800 to have them shipped, and they may not have included the sensors. The tires (UNmounted, UNbalanced and after taxes) would have been over $1000 (Tire Rack pretax 4-pack price is $995.24). And I got this great package deal from Detroit Wheel & Tire for a tad over $1200. I live in the area, so no shipping $$! Awesome! Dont buy until you do your homework!

Went to have my wheels balanced a month ago, had some bad vibration on and off. They are on the heavy side being aftermarket casted wheels, so mistakes can happen easily. Been dealing with the bad vibration for a month because Im out of town on weekdays when they are open. Took advantage od my day off, showed them the recipt and no questions asked they fixed it. Feels amazing compared to before driving the car. Friend recommended me to go here because they always stand behind their work.

The product I received is fine, but the service and communication is lacking. I called to inquire about a wheel that showed was in stock online. I specifically was using Detroit Wheel and Tire because I am local to Michigan and needed the wheel asap and figured I would save on shipping. I was told it would be available on Friday after calling on a Thursday. Unbeknownst to me, the wheel had to be shipped from another vendor to the warehouse in Troy. When it did finally arrive on Tuesday, nobody bothered to call me to let me know it was in. I highly recommend that you ask and make sure the wheel is in stock at the facility in Troy if you need it immediately. I could have saved time and money by just ordering it from a different seller online and paying shipping. (and saving my own time and fuel). The wheel I would have purchased online is probably the vendor it came from anyway. I was very vocal about my displeasure but was not offered any discounts or apologies. Just very matter of fact statements that that is just how it is.

I just had Detroit Wheel and Tire PVD chrome my SVTPP GT500 wheels. I live in the metro Detroit area and put my car up on jackstands and delivered the wheels to them. They accept the wheels with the tires mounted and they dismount the tires there. Jason indicated it would be 3 to 6 weeks for the turnaround. They were completed in 4 weeks. The wheels are intricate and the finish is excellent. I completely satisfied. I would use Detroit Wheel and Tire again without hesitation.

I am fully dissatisfied with my experience with Detroit Tire and Wheel!! I would highly recommend that you think twice about ordering anything on line from them. Not only did they give out misleading information on their website on what wheel I was ordering, they created a level of confusion on where my delivery was to go. I have never experience this disinterest from a vendor on working through issues. Be very careful on looking at an image on their website and then understanding what you are getting. I ordered a wheel based on the photo, and when I got it, it was completely different in color. I called them and they even admitted that the photo was wrong, but they were not willing to pay for the shipping back to them to get the correct color wheel. Needless to say, I canceled the order all together. Amazed that they even have good reviews here on Google. Very poor performance on customer service.Stay away from on line ordering from them. Took some OEM wheels here to get stripped, powder coated, skim cut, and clearcoated. I was worried the price was a little steep and I had never done business with them before, so it was a gamble- but when I got the wheels back a few days later, I saw quality work. Bent one of my rims a couple months ago and looked around for prices at nearby competing businesses. Baraa and his crew at Detroit Wheel & Tire gave me a fair and honest price. Baraa was knowledgeable and professional throughout the whole situation. He fixed my rim and when I came back to get my tires rotated, his team found out that my other rim was bent too! I thought I had a bent wheel, my mechanic agreed. DWT straightened three wheels on my 03 C230 Sport. UNBELIEVABLE difference! wish I had done it years ago. Not cheap, but if you enjoy driving a car in proper condition it is critical. DWT themselves were fine, no hassles.

Had a dented rim on my vehicle. Read the website and it explained all wheels in stock would ship within 24-48 hours via ups ground. I called and verified my rims were in stock.I received an email 2 days later (latest I was explained would be shipped) to explain my wheels needed refinished and would add an additional 3-5 business days to process.My vehicle meanwhile is rendered useless until I have a new rim put on. I reached out to customer service the day after I received an email (Friday)and didnt receive contact back until Tuedsday (a week after I placed my original order). The email stated the rims they refinished were unsatisfactory and they would be adding an additional 3-5 bus days before shipping.This is nearly a 2 week process to ship instead of the 24-48 hours promised by the website. They refunded my money without hesitation. Never recieved a product to review. Commenting only on shipping and lack of communication.Overall unpleased with this company.

Extremely friendly, fast service. I am an annoying customer - Bryan was patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was a bit nervous ordering from Ontario, but everything went smoothly and I saved a lot of money. Chevy dealership wanted almost 700 for the same product. After hitting an Alabama pothole (more like a crater) I ended up with a bent rim. I purchased a reconditioned OEM rim and I couldnt be more pleased. They seem to have a good reputation as far as product goes from what I have found online. I was ready to make a purchase from them, I just had a question about a special request. However, over the past few weeks, I have chatted with 3 different people on their online help chat box, and each time they tell me they will have to get with their Internet Sales guy, and get back with me. That has never happened. I understand sometimes things get missed, but 3 separate times now? It would be hard for me to trust their support with any purchases now.

First off, if I could give them a no star rating at all, I would! This place is a boarder line scam website. They are not professional whatsoever. This is from experience. If you need them shipped somewhere else out of state i would not recommend buying from them. They will lie about shipping and tell you what they want to hear. Even the head of the shipping department has no idea what he is doing. It almost took a month to receive my wheels, granted i was told they had ship three different times. DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT ANY TYPE OF PROFESSIONALISM OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I finally got the wheel I ordered a month ago today! They continued to delay my order more and more until a month had passed! I was completely disgusted with their customer service. The staff is aggressive and rude and I would not every purchase from them again. And on top of that the wheel I received was not even similar to the factory wheel which is light gray and brushed metal where the wheel I received was dark gray and chrome. An awful expirence.... throughly disappointed with your company.

Purchased a set of wheels from Detroit Wheel and Tire. 4 of the 5 wheels I ordered were bent. One of the wheels was so bad that the tire shop manager refused to install it.He showed me how bad the pothole bend was I the balancing machine.There was no damage to the box and Danny tried to play dumb saying it was damaged by UPS. I dont think so... Especially when there was no damage to the boxes. These guys are scamming UPS and putting the blame game on the courier people. This is wrong and a bad way of doing business.They are betting that most customers wont make a big deal about the bends which are on the rear of the wheels.And from what Ive learned there is a degree of risk involved when repairing bent wheels as they can crack.If you are the owner of Detroit Wheel and Tire and reading my review, please place a disclaimer on your website letting customers know that there may be pothole bends on the rear of the wheels. This would avoid so many people from getting upset. I just read a number of other complaints from customers experiencing the exact same issue as me so this is no coincidence.

Emailed DW&T with an inquiry to refinish my Fiat Abarth wheels. Bryan responded quickly with the information and a price that was reasonable. I brought in my wheels in rough shape from the prior owner. DW&T unmounted old tires, stripped, refinished, powder-coated, ordered new tires and mounted and balanced the new tires all in one week. The work/finish is like a factory finish. The pricing very fair. The customer service exceptional. I got my wheels home and I had made an error and overlooked the balancing weights they were black on black wheels and I did not see them, emailed Bryan and he said if there is a problem Ill come get the wheels Turns out there was no problem but just my eyes (weights were there) and just that offer from Bryan will make me a repeat customer. Thanks Bryan Ogg and DW&T Staff !!!

Excellent customer service from Bryan Ogg. I had some adhesion issues with the PVD coating. Typically you get some problems claiming work under warranty, but Bryan was first class., we looked at the conditions of the wheels and without hesitation Bryan acknowledged the concern and handled it. I had one wheel with road rash - which is my responsibility, but the whole situation was handled perfectly by Bryan. My sincere thanks

Have to give it a 2 star. Im sure they are great but due to making a order online and even talked to a guy named Joe about my order. I then placed the order on the phone with him, then he had the invoice emailed to me, but with out notice they cancel the order without a phone call or message why they did so. I found this out 3 days later when I should of been able to pick my order up!!

I purchased some aftermarket wheels at Discount Tire and all four were bent and chipping in only 8 months. I went to Detroit Wheel and they got me into some 20” OE wheels that look awesome on my Charger. I was worried about buying these online without actually seeing them, but I was definitely impressed. I got exactly what the eBay listing said. Detroit Wheel and Tire is the only place I will go for wheels.

They fixed my wheel, mounted the tire and put the whole thing back on. Feels good to have everything fixed quick and easy. Friendly people as well!

Prices on the company website does not reflect actual price. IT issue resulted in my purchase being four times the previously stated cost which means no rims for me from DW&T. Good company, but bad IT systems will definitely turn me off from trusting the website anymore.

I contacted Detroit Wheel & Tire about buying a set of 20 Camaro SS wheels. I spoke with Bryan, in internet sales and he gave me a price that was acceptable to me. He sent me the labels and two days later they were on their way. Contrary to some reviews Ive read, my experience wasvery professional, quick and pleasant in every way. I would recommend them to anyone in the market of buying or selling a good set of wheels.I will use them again whenever I need to replace or sell my wheels.

Its been some time ago, but I cant believe I forgot about my review on this company. I have a New LTZ 2015 impala and my tires and rims (factory) was stolen. After days of research I found this company..something told me to search this state because Im originally from MICH. Anyway, I got my tires and rims from this company. Everything was brand new, and my rims are same pattern as originals but look hella better; IJS. The shipment time was very reasonable and I also ordered locks for my rims. Again my factorys was stolen not aftermarket.... I was really hurt when this happened but Detroit Wheel & Tire helped out. Thank You DW&T for the quality products and excellent customer service....

I recently exchanged OEM wheels for PDV black chrome and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and look. Very fast friendly service and easy exchange and I was quickly refunded my core exchange fee. I really wanted to maintain my original ride quality with a custom look of wheels and it did just that!

Overall great people and company to deal withGot my rims as described and they were better than I expected!! Would recommend buyimg from them over any other company hands down
